This was my third attempt at getting my transmission repaired, twice by the first shop in Berkeley that left me with failures 6 months in so you might say I was on guard. Paul and Reese did an amazing job, my truck, a 22 year old ford with 321,000 miles came back to be sounding like it did when it was new, smooth transitions between gears, what an amazing difference. It was money well spent, they really did replace damaged and worn parts and it both sounds and shows the difference. I ve been driving it for 4 days and not a hiccup! Wish I d have found these guys my first and second go around.

These guy s are simply the Best at what they do. I was in a pinch and my Car was giving me a lot of Grief. I thought I was going to need a new Transmission or Differential. They figured out that I recently had some tires replaced and they were the wrong size. Sent me back to the Tire Store who sold them to me and they Admitted the mistake and all is good. So awesome to have an Auto Repair Shop that you can absolutely TRUST their word %100. I would give them Ten (10) Stars if I could. Thanks Guys...

I just had my 01 Nissan Xterra worked on and I was pleased with the customer service and professional work. Even though they didn t have an appointment available, they let me bring the vehicle in for troubleshooting. I left the vehicle on a Friday and picked it up on Monday. Great guys, nice clean working space and great communications with customer. Highly recommend.

Having car problems is never a fun experience. Even worse is finding out your mechanic has closed. Thankfully, my old mechanic recommended Broadway A&T. They were very accommodating even though their schedule was booked (always a good sign when a shop is busy). They quickly diagnosed my 02 Nissan Xterra (they work on older cars) cooling system issue and replaced my radiator and some other parts on my appointment day. Most importantly, my dog Gretel appreciates that they are dog friendly. Thank you again!!!

This place is great! Paul is super nice and communicated with me the whole time. My car was brought in on a Monday and I had it back on Wednesday, the same week! Highly recommend Broadway Automotive for transmission or any other issues that you may be having with your car. The total $ was half the price of the rip off dealership service center!

I was referred to Broadway Automotive & Transmission by my regular mechanic, who does not work on Transmissions. My mechanic suspected my Mazda5 would need a new Transmission or a Rebuild. Paul at Broadway knew that model has a history of problems with a specific computer, replaced that and the car is running fine, without the more expensive work. Communication was clear and consistent, and the car was ready earlier than the initial estimate.

Ours was a simple drain and refill. Paul is friendly and we were able to share a few laughs based on my meager shade tree mechanic experience. In and out easy and reasonable price without upwelling or talk of impending doom for our transmission. Car now shifts noticeably smoothly and quietly. Pay attention to those maintenance items in your manual

I called and spoke with Paul. I told him that my car was at the dealership and they quoted me some outrageous price to fix the transmission. Paul suggested I make an appointment and bring the car in. I took the car for the appointment. I shared with Paul the printout from the dealership. He said he will have the techs look at the car. He called me in the afternoon and said the transmission was fine but I needed a wheel bearing. That s what I hearing. He gave me quote and I said you go ahead fix it. I also asked about the spark plugs. He said he would get back to me. He kept the car for one day. I went in the next to pick up my car and pay the bill. The will was not outrageous, it was within reason. It s been almost week and I feel like riding in a new car. Thanks again Paul for looking at my car. You definitely have gained a new customer. I will be back if I have any other issues with my car. BTW, my car is 2010 Honda Accord.Service: General repairs & maintenance

at >85K miles our 02 Frontier would surely need new pads. Discussing with Paul should new rotors be needed i recommended an up grade for them. At 72 this will be my last truck, unless a centurion i become. Everything else done in the normal professional manner, >50% on the pads rotors just fine . Frugal and honest as the day is long Reece Paul are a winning team.

Paul was immediately familiar with my 1990 Ford F150 and many of the common ailments. We started with a list of issues and worked out a phased approach to address the most pressing issues first. Very easy to work with a clear communicators.

Paul and company are great. My friends parents, who used own an auto shop, just retired. This is my new go to shop. Thanks guys.The best thing about this shop is they don t do repairs that aren t necessary. I thought I needed new rear bearings on both sides and they found I only needed one. They recommended I not replace the struts due to the high mileage and lack of immediate need. Really honest shop, that does great work.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

I live in Carson City, Nevada. I was visiting my dad in Oakland when my transmission went out. They had a new factory transmission put in in less than a week. My 2008 Nissan Ultima. After taking on a transmission project myself I finally realized I bit off more then I can chew. Brought the transmission here and was welcomed with a smile by Paul. One of the technicians looked at my transmission for a second and gave me a full report of why I couldn't get it back together and gave me information on how to get the job done myself (I bought the wrong part).When I went to go pay because information is worth a ton in my opinion Paul just said the cost was a fist bump.10/10 on every suit. definitely found my new mechanicService: Transmission

I was referred to this shop by my mechanic but I was already aware of Broadway Automotive, as I have read about them in the past. Reese was very knowledgeable and spoke in layman s terms when describing the work to be done. Job was done in about 10 days due to holiday weekend. They were in constant contact with to let know their progress. Job done and so far the Tahoe is running like new.

I meet Paul and he is an honest gentleman, I thought my transmission It needs to be replaced, but he was honest and told me that my transmission was working fine so it was something else. if he want it ,he can easily change my transmission and charge me whatever and I will still have the problem ( that's what some other shops do) but he was honest and is really hard to find people like him in this days , thanks Paul for your service and honestyService: Auto engine diagnostic

Called to explain our needs and concerns to Paul prior to taking on a previously owned car. He and his team ran a full diagnostic and explained our options in a straightforward way. We then went forward with them to affect all the maintenance suggested, and are very pleased with the results.
