My front door lock wasn't working and took it in here just based on Google reviews. They were professional start to finish. No issues fixing the lock, they called me when the part arrived and when the car was done. I thought it was a really nice touch that it looks like they gave my car a light wash and vacuum as well.

Honest people who are reliable with quick, inexpensive service . I drive all the way from Sunnyvale for my car repairs. I highly recommend this auto center.

Brought my car here because it was close to my house and I didn't want to drive farther to my usual place in Alameda. I was impressed enough that I will definitely stick with this place from now on!Ricky stood with me and diagnosed the car while I watched, and explained exactly what needed to be repaired. The estimate seemed very fair to replace the entire radiator. They ended up fixing the car same-day in a matter of hours! Much faster than I was expecting. Afterwards he again showed me exactly what had been done and did a final check. The cherry on top was them returning the car freshly washed.As a young woman I feel like most other mechanics I have gone to will offer only the bare minimum explanation, or condescendingly over-explain the necessary repairs. I really appreciated that Ricky was professional and informative without talking down to me at all.This place deserves all the good reviews!

First time here, but I'll be coming back. They replaced the clutch on my Subaru with lower prices and a faster turnaround than expected. And they were kind and communicative throughout.

A trustworthy place to get your car repairs. I have been going here for 18 years. They have service several of my cars including my Hyundai, my Jeep and now my Mitsubishi Endeavor. They are great in helping me keep up with my car maintenance and helping me determine what work has to be done now and what work I should be thinking about doing in the future. The best part of all is after each service my car gets this amazing wash and vacuum so it comes back looking like a brand new car thank you Bay Auto Center.

Tried scamming me into getting new front brake rotors and pads. Had them put on new tires and they said I needed the brakes done because I only had 2mm left of pad left. I second guessed them because I just had my car in for the 125k service at another shop. Took it back to that shop where they removed the front wheel to show me that my brake pads and rotors were absolutely fine. Stay away from this place, they lie to charge for unnecessary work.

Prompt professional experts with great practicality and great prices. Best you're going to get for your car, especially once you're out of warranty and taking it to the dealer is an expensive, inflexible proposition.Rod knock led to engine failure requiring rebuild with a new short block: dealership's service dept price was $7100, Bay Auto's price w/ a non-new (but in good shape w/ warranty) short block was $3200. Runs great since then.Say hello to the fishtank fish for me if you go.

Rick is the best tech in Bay Area! And he is honest. I saved a lot of money. One Toyota of Oakland told me I need a new oil cooler but it is not true! I am so mad at One Toyota. But I am lucky Rick always take care of my car.

They tried charging me $700 and at least 3 days to replace an alternator. I found another shop who will do it in one day for $400. I don't know if they tried to scam me because I am a woman or what, but maybe get a second opinion on prices before you go with them.

I like these guys. They always explain what is wrong with my car well and do a good job fixing it at a low cost. I'm driving a car that is at 220k miles and they've helped it to get there.

It was the first time I went there to have my car repaired. I used to go to E24 often for sheet metal repairs, bumper repairs, and insurance repairs, so I knew it was a repair shop. So I went to give it a try. It was my first time to change the engine oil, gearbox oil, and brake fluid. .In the end, he also told me that the battery was almost game over..Because my battery has been used for 7 years from the new car to now..In fact, I knew it even without telling me..It proved that there was an inspection...then I went to Costco and bought the battery myself. Change... go there next time...

I just went to a dark shop and washed my car twice, but not long after I came back after the second time, the car had problems. Then I took it back for inspection, and he actually charged me 80 yuan for labor, just for the 10-20 minutes. He pretended to be kind and said, "Let's fix it here, and I'll treat the 80 as the repair fee." . When I thought about it, it turned out that the 80 was not only the inspection fee but also the repair fee? I said to your sister, I didn t even say I wanted to fix it and you charged 80? Is this forcing me to cultivate here? Then I tell you a bunch of nonsense just to make you willingly chew this dead cat. . . . . . I said, for these few hundred bucks, you have taught me a lesson. If I still come here, I will be an idiot.
