I had a very nice interaction with Mannol(sp?) yesterday afternoon. He was easygoing, helpful, and relaxed with a good sense of humor. The kind of person you want to have behind the parts desk when you re not what you need or exactly how it attaches to your car. Give this man a raise!

I was having trouble with my 2019 jeep latitude 2WD shutting down during itsstart/stop feature and after chatting with the staff decided it was a simple battery change.This is my first car so I had a lot of questions about how to proceed and Alik was so patient and knowledgeable and efficient. I couldn t have asked for a more seamless experience.The battery change took less than 5 minutes and I was on my way.

Usually a good store, but it's 8:20 and they're closed. Google says they close at 9. The sign on the front door says they close at 9. But the door is gated and locked. Lame.

The only other auto zone I go to, usually because they have parts available here- it seems to be a central hub. I would call first always, but there s a good chance your part is here. They re also usually stocked when it comes to spark plug sockets - one in particular that works well on hard to reach jobs. I think it s made by duralast. Staff is also really helpful if you know what you re looking for !

I just experienced the worst interaction with a supposed to be manager at AutoZone next to the Goodwill store on MacArthur Blvd. When I tell you that I have never heard a manager say what this manager said in front of me and the other customer and his coworker...I had talked to a very nice young man the night before, he was very professional, he installed my battery, made sure I got the discount for the core etc. Everyone in the store was very professional and helpful on 09/18/2023. The young man told me I could bring my item that I had mentioned about returning the next day, because he really needs the box to scan the barcode. I called first on the night of the 19th of September and he said come on in. It was after 8pm. Unfortunately I mentioned to him when I got there that I think I might have left my receipt for the item I wanted to return on the counter the night before.When I speculated that I might not have my receipt, the other person that was in the middle of checking out another customer stopped dead in mid stroke and told the young man to switch places with him although he didn't come over to help me , he kept hovering over the guy..Then I said it's okay he said he was gonna help me and I do have the same card that I used when I made the purchase...Then the guy said I am the manager, "I am the Dark skinned manager and he is the light skinned manager" I am blah, blah, blah...I couldn't believe my ears! Who does that? I should have turned around and left then...Anyway he asked for my phone number and he said the only item he could see was the battery purchase and I said hmmm...why did the people last night find my $5.00 rewards, blah,blah... When I tell you this guy kept on & on agitating the situation until I snatched my shopping bag off the counter and went to my car & I retrieved another receipt, because I like to shop in my community, any way when I came back inside the 1st young man attempted to help me again, but the so called manager kept saying things about me being ratchet, and that I came in being upset, I was shocked...I did get loud because he got loud and he just kept on escalating the situation after the young man was trying to tell him hey I got it, I can help her. Anyway I will not be going back there any time soon, Because ol' boy let his ego get in the way and wouldn't let the professional young man help me...I banged on the counter, because I was so upset...He made a comment "about If you bought it" in other words insinuating I was a thief..he was whirling all kinds of insults at me. I told him when he made the statement about If I bought it and I said to him you have to get this particular item from the back of the store, I paid $132.00 for the item at the 27th st. Location, where once again everyone was nice, professional and helpful..ladies do not go in this store by yourself! Because the person that labeled himself the "Dark skinned manager" tried to come out the store to the parking lot to do something to me I guess, because i mentioned something about his Ego, anyway the other young man was holding him back and he kept trying to break away and come outside, mind you I am a 65 year old female!I definitely have my receipt & card that I used and I definitely will be calling the corporate head quarters and when they watch the security cameras they are going to see him escalating the situation! I have been Shopping through out the USA and Canada, the Bahamas, etc. Since I was 13 years old and have never been treated like this before.

Alik asked if I needed help, confirmed the correct bulb by going out to my car and removing one of the old ones, then helped me select the correct bulbs, and finally installed both sides n my car. What a refreshing experience from a customer service professional. Please have teach all your future employees how to create excellent customer service and make one want to return in the future and refer all my friends and family

I would like to thank Billy, for his wonderful customer service he gave me today while visiting auto zone. I was confused on what parts I needed for my car and he constantly offered his helped if needed, to solve my problem. You have the natural ability to understand and feel what your customers are experiencing, and you are able to meet their needs effectively. Thank you!!

I went into autozone looking to replace my car wiper blades. Lisa assisted me with finding my correct size for them. She even put them on for me because I didn t know how lol. She was quick, very nice, and we had a smooth conversation while doing so. Thanks Lisa you re awesome! I love your customer service.

This is a good auto zone to shop at with very helpful staff. Recently, Ross gave me a hand with selecting windshield wipers which has made my shopping experience very easy and comfortable. I much prefer this store over the Auto zone on Bancroft Ave.

They were very helpful, but very limited on their loaner tools, I needed a 10 mm wrench to replace my coil and they did not have one in their loaner tools so I had to borrow one from there I ll and use it and then return it to their aisle without saying anything to them

The store does have some good inventory. But customer service? I feel sorry for the owners and for us customer. We were the only customers at that time, and the service representative didn t ever answered to our salute nor even made any aye contact. After a couple of minutes, we were able to find our product, he also never offered his help. When we were approaching the cashier he decided to make a phone call, never received any type eye contact to ask us to please wait. I will never go back to the store. I m giving two stars just because the do have parking spots and good inventory.

Billy is literally the most incredible and helpful person in all of AutoZone. This is the third AutoZone I have frequented in 2 months.. yes, I m having a bit of a car moment with this rain and crazy weather, and having to go in for work every day.Not only did he help me locate the car battery I needed when it was unavailable at their store, he installed it when the AutoZone guys at SanPablo Ave refused. He was kind, courteous and knew his stuff. I m just going to stop going to PepBoys and all the other auto shops I frequent. This AutoZone location and then First Repair Auto off 40th and Martin Luther. That s it!

I was very pleased with this location. Typically these auto stores can be staffed with folks who seem to hate their job and the patrons. The folks here were very welcoming and allowed me to come in right at closing for a last minute purchase of some oil for my nieces car. The manager walked me right over and helped me find the one i needed and had me on my way in minutes. I will definitely be back.

Daniel Ramirez was absolutely fabulous today. He went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and create a memorable experience for me. He assisted me from start to finish with the replacement of my taillight which had blowout. Auto Zone is extremely lucky to have an employee that is so knowledgeable and mechanically inclined. Thank You Daniel for a job well done. I will definitely be a repeat customer thanks to your amazing customer service. Auto Zone Daniel Ramirez deserve to be the Store Manager as he sets a great example of what a model employee possesses. He deserves a raise for all of the memorable experience he offers and creates for customers and he also deserves an extra day off with pay for all the hard work he does

The employees were very helpful when I came in looking for an air filter. I have a newer car and the model I need isn't available many places yet. I was quite grateful for them looking up the product and checking my car to ensure it was the right part.
