I am so impressed by the level of service from this company. My car (Mercedes Benz) stopped in the middle of the road in Berkeley. I saw a tow company nearby and asked them if they could help, but their trucks were for motorcycles only. Luckily, that person suggested I call AG Precision Motors since the MB dealership had me on hold for so long, and I was looking for another option.Albert at Precision Motors not only helped me find a tow company that was nearby at the end of the work day on Friday, he offered to stay late to make sure my car was locked inside the shop space before he left for the weekend. He even sent me a picture of my car safely in the shop!Fast forward to Monday, he called me before 9 a.m. and had already diagnosed the problem. I had a failed started. I agreed to his estimate, the team got to work, and I picked up my car by 1 p.m. Monday. On top of all of this, the bill was less than his estimate. Super nice people all around. You can tell they really care about the work they do for others, and they will be my go to mechanics. If you are uncertain where to take your car for service, I would go here.

Top notch repairs, professional service, friendly staff. There is no other group I would trust to work on and repair my family's vehicles. Their knowledge about vehicle maintenance and repair rivals bigger shops in the Bay Area and their turn around time has always matched their estimates and their ability to diagnose even the most difficult and complex problems are done with ease. Make and appointment, you will not be disappointed.

G and the team are consummate professionals -- I've been coming to get my car serviced back when the shop was still in San Francisco. You won't find mechanics more knowledgeable, efficient, and reliable than the guys here at Precision Motors.My BMW has had its fair share of problems throughout the years but G has always addressed them promptly and very affordably. From a simple smog to leaky coolant lines buried deep in the engine bay, G has managed to get my car back on the road in a timely manner. At the end of the day, you want someone who knows what they're doing when you pick a mechanic so I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend this shop.

Ive been looking for a mechanic for my BMW for quite some time and I m glad I finally found this shop! I had my BMW brakes repaired for an excellent price and they did an amazing job (my last mechanic messed up my sensors). They also cleared my check engine light with a few minor repairs at an incredibly reason price. Search no further if you are looking for an awesome BMW mechanic.

Erich and his team have been my mechanics for close to 10 years now with multiple vehicles. Two Sprinters, a Mini Cooper, and others. They've done excellent work more times than I care to remember. They're not the lowest rate but they do it right the first time and always look for the most minimal way to solve the issue. There are some comments about him being a bit stern. Definitely more of a surgeon than a therapist :) Who would you rather have working on your car?

I was having car troubles (batter and brakes) on my way to work and was lucky that Albert and Gonazalo were able to accommodate me same day. They are extremely professional and kind. Thanks to everyone at the shop - I will 100% be back!

Gonzalo has been my mechanic for years! My 2013 GTI recently needed the water pump repaired and the brakes serviced.Also, the shop has the cutest service writer: Ronin, the Akita.

Erich is by far my favorite mechanic in the Bay Area. He s honest, will never sell you anything you don t need, and is incredibly knowledgeable. He has done extensive work on my high mileage Audi, Mercedes, and BMWs, ranging from recent model years to 1986. He works quick but has never skimped on quality or consistency. I admire his passion for good work and well-built vehicles.

I don't know who answered, but they claimed they had the tools to help us (we just needed to see if a battery worked or not,) but he said he would rather not because he has things he's doing today, and to go to O'Reilly or Autozone. I may be ignorant of how long this process takes for him, but we were going to walk 20 min with a battery in heat.

I very much appreciate Erich and his approach to running his shop. He is uncompromising, but professional and caring, to an extent. He and his team did some good detective work tracking down some tricky non-mechanical problems with my 18 year-old Mini, and the way he worked with me was great: he was flexible, and made sure I had maximum use of my vehicle while the time consuming repairs were underway.My issues are these:1.) I noticed a minor cosmetic defect during the time the car was being worked on (it was in and out a couple of times), and asked his help with it. When I picked up the car I asked him about it, and he brusquely said no, it s completely torn. You can try to glue it yourself. I then realized the carpet around the center console are was ripped in a couple of places. This had not been the case before, and was was a result of the work being done on the car. It is not repairable. Things do happen with old cars, but it had been in perfect shape. It would have been far more professional for him to own up to the damage and express regret. Something like: we did the best we could, but the carpet tore while we were doing the work in spite of our efforts. Instead he said nothing about it directly at all. I doubt he even noticed the defect I d asked about, and which was also a result of the work they were doing.2) He never gave me a very clear estimate of the amount. I d suggested a ballpark figure which he agreed with, but the final bill was 30% more than my high guess. I was ok with paying for the work, but if you have a problem with that this may not be the shop for you.Overall I appreciated the efforts Erich made to find used parts to keep costs down, and I believe he and his team do good work. I would not hesitate to go back for mechanical work. I m a little disappointed at the lack of accountability, but I do nonetheless trust that mechanical issues would be handled thoroughly and carefully.

Solid auto repair especially for BMW. Probably the best in the region. Erik is a bit of a cranky guy sometimes - wish that weren't the case as it detracts from the quality of his work. Decent prices considering what the dealer charges.

Eric is a very knoweldgable owner. I have had several small repairs done to older BMWs and his analysis of the issue has been consistently accurate with repairs being excellent at a reasonable cost. Highly recommended

I have taken several older (pre 2000) BMWs to Prevision Motors for servicing and maintenance and have been extremely pleased each time. Communications are great and the work quality is exceptional
