The team takes great care of my car! They often point issues that went unnoticed by the previous mechanic. Parking is tight but they will take care of anything you need. I especially feel the savings in my pocket because they find the long term solutions!

Phong is a great dude and runs an honest business. I brought in a Chevy Malibu that I was thinking about purchasing and he gave me plenty of info about whether it would be a good purchase. Phong was recommended by a neighbor and we used him a few times until I finally lost trust in him after he charged us to redo work he did only 6 months earlier that failed. I won t go back.

Dishonest business, I will never go back.My car started making an odd noise. I called ADS Temescal Auto Car and spoke with the manager (owner?). I described the noise and he immediately said it sounded like a transmission issue and to bring it in for a look.He sent me many texts with pictures of items needing repair, but he wanted me to approve the repairs without giving me any estimate of the costs. I had to ask for one multiple times. That should have been a red flag but I ignored it since my car was already in the shop.When I finally got an official estimate several hours laters, I called because I had questions. That s when the owner/manager told me that the problem was in fact my transmission, but said they don t do transmission work (the estimate was for other stuff he wanted to work on).Seriously?! I asked why he didn t tell me that in the first place but he didn t have a real answer.Then, when I went to pick up my car, he tried to charge me several hundred dollars for repairs I told him NOT to do!! He did end up removing the charges but only after I refused to pay for them.What a scam. Stay away, this is a very dishonest business.

Fast but worker didn t speak English so i couldn t ask him anything.. owner was better but he wasn t very communicative. I wanted to know why my tire kept leaking air and without responding about estimation of time of possible charge it was just put oh the lift. It wasn t an emergency as it would air for a couple of days and I wasn t needing it any time soon.They quickly found a nail, removed it and only charged me $35. It was fast and well priced. Communication was the only issue. There is little parking available but he squessed it into the lot.I also chose it because I could have walked home if necessary. Been going to ADS for over 10 years (Honda/Acura/Toyota). Phoung is honest and communicative, and explains things in a way that's totally accessible, takes photos of replaced parts. I live in the neighborhood and these are the kind of folks who call me on street cleaning days if they see my car so I don't get a ticket.

We had a really great experience here when we took our Honda in for some emergency work during a cross-country drive. Phong was amazingly quick, responsive, and transparent, and took excellent care of our car for a very reasonable price. He even stayed late to make sure we were able to pick up the car. I m so glad we got a local recommendation to come here.

Brought my car in for a 5000 mile service. A week later the check engine light comes on. After several unanswered calls to the owner, he admits he s too busy and cannot take a look , and admits I should go elsewhere.For the service itself, his communication throughout the day and when the car would be ready, was poor. He charged for labor/materials for things I didn t approve, and quite frankly, could ve done myself at a fraction of the cost.Take your business elsewhere.

I brought my Honda in for 90k service and I can't rave enough about how great Phong and his crew are. So polite, professional, and comprehensive. These are absolute experts. Phong walked me through their findings and was able to get everything done quickly. Their itemized billing is precise and their labor costs are SO reasonable. We needed help with our camper and fast. We're traveling the country and needed to be on our way. Our trailer lost power. Owner said could get us in that week. I wanted to give them 5 stars but some of the internal communication needed work. The mechanics did not seem to know we were coming. And what I was told would take a couple hours took a day and a half. I think a lot of it was due to lack of communication. However. The work was above and beyond and the price was super reasonable. They were great and I would seek them out if I'm in the area again.

Phong was fantastic!! I m a travel nurse and was on my way to my next assignment, and my car engine died in Oakland. I found this place online, called phong, and he was able to get me in and start on my car literally 20 minutes later. I was on a time crunch to get to work, and he went to amazing efforts to finish my car by the end of the next day. He caught many things that I needed to fix that would have screwed me on my trip to work. He sent me pictures and updates the entire time. He saved me!! Very nice people! My car had a lot of problems and they advised me on what I needed in order for it to be running , and what was optional. They went above and beyond to save me some money, and still make the car run safely. They kept me well informed of each step and what it would cost, and did what they said they would do. I felt confident that they are trustworthy. Will go there again.

I have been going to Phong for a few years. He is really honest and he and his guys do good work. He saves damaged/broken parts to show me. He takes video to show me what was wrong/what was done. I am someone who has real trouble trusting anyone in the autorepair industry (from experience). From a few years taking my car to Phong, I trust him. He is usually booked about a week out or so.

Fong is the kind of mechanic who believes in his work and knows his craft. He does good work at a reasonable, honest price. With my 1990's Honda he fixed something for far less than I was quoted by another mechanic because he saw the actual problem with my clutch. I didn't need a new one, I needed a brace replaced.

Pong really great service at a reasonable price and they work really fast that's what I call a dedicated mechanic so if you're in this area this is the mechanic I choose and I drive a Mercedes which prepares can be so expensive it will make ya head hurt. My recommendation is use him as a personal mechanic they'll get the job done
