These guys were very helpful in helping diagnose the problem with my vehicle. I was fortunate to find a lesser quote at a place closer to home. But I am very happy to recommend them for great service.

I went here the day with an exhaust unknowingly not being for my car. But they still made it work! Price wasn't that bad for the work I saw get done. It definitely saved me the headache of figuring it out myself! Skip is your man for mufflers, he welcomed the challenge I brought him with open arms. Going to definitely bring the other exhausts in to get them fitted on here soon for sure.

I told 7 day tires a few blocks away to check my rotors but he only replaced my brake pads, so a month Later I showed up to A-1 and got the brakes /rotors serviced all they way around with a 2 month warranty from the boss.Unlike some car shops the boss gets his hands dirty and wants you taking care of. I also had Flowmaster pipes installed a week before.And the whole crew is nice.

Went and got my resonator removed and A-1 Mufflers did a great job. I may have to get a tune because I do hear a bit of rattle from the back but overall still a solid job.

Quick service with quality work. Very friendly staff that gets the job done with care. If they dont have the part you need in stock they order it and get it there in a timely matter to make sure you are a satisfied customer

Took my mom's car to repair the exhaust pipe. The owner of the shop said it needed a new muffler and he'd put one in for $280. I new that the muffler was ok and told him I only wanted to fix the pipe. He reluctantly quoted $180, said it would take him an hour. I thought it was pretty steep, but ok. We agreed on $160 cash. In 18min the pipe was fixed and the car was ready to go. I said to him, are you charging me $160 for 20min of work ($480 an hour)? Yes he said, you agreed to the price. He said, I can take the whole thing off if you don't want it. I felt ripped off. The guy is a crook. Stay away.Service: Exhaust

I use to go to this shop and use to recommend this place to all my friends all the time for welding.. tires and mufflers..now I wont go back here anymore the owner became an unpleasant A-HOLE overcharging everything and the people skill just got really worst..beware if u go here

Took my muffler to have the flex pipe replaced. The guy wanted $200... I took it to another shop in San Leandro and it was less than half
