I went in to have a spare key made and they charged me $225 dollars and I'm still left with one key back to square. They took my old key and gave me a new key, then they said they trashed the old key. Now I'm left with one key and minus $225. What a bunch of idiots. As far as I'm concerned I feel I have been scammed big time. Id give them zero stars if I didnt have to give them one.

It's truly disheartening to witness how they treated a customer who was on vacation and unexpectedly required assistance. The exorbitant charge of $1100 for an alternator replacement is a clear case of taking advantage. In contrast, the standard cost for this service in the entire United States is merely around $500, encompassing both a two-hour labor fee and a reasonable part cost of about $265 (considering a high-quality option like Denso). This incident reflects a regrettable exploitation of a customer in need, tarnishing what should have been a positive vacation experience.

This place is awesome! Very honest folks. I was informed of all my options, not just ones that benefited them. They went above and beyond with great customer service, making sure I understood what to expect, and quick service! Every person there was nice too. I swear every employee that walked by had a kind word, greeting, or smile for my husband and I. I recommend them to everyone!

Took my truck in for smog & AC. Left my wallet on truck seat. When I picked up my truck they put it in the glove box! This is one Reason why I ve been going to this shop since I moved up here almost 20 years ago! Besides the good work their an honest Christian shop! Feb 8th 2022, the Husband and I took the kids to Yosemtie. We started hearing a noise coming from our wheels. Pulled in to Yosemite Smog and Electric and asked if they could take a look, nice guy took the Jeep for a spin and when he came back he found that a wheel was about to FALL OFF!!! He fixed it and hubby headed in to pay. They gentleman inside didn't charge us for literally saving our lives AND our Jeep. I'd say, if you're looking for excellent customer service with record time, go to these guys. About 20 minutes in and out and back to our daycation! Thank you to Yosemite Smog and Electric for coming through in an other wise ruff situation. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!

Walked out today after waiting patiently for 15 min for it to be my turn to smog. No one had acknowledged me yet. No hi, I'll be right with you, nothing. I get to the counter and the guy asked me for paperwork for the smog not doing this often I didn't realize I needed it right away for him to even talk to me. So I get the paperwork from my car, come back and he is helping another customer. So I wait patiently again. After he is done with this customer a lady that was behind starts talking to him so he helps her. That's when I walk out. I shouldn't have to beg someone to take my money. The man is usually rude but still gets my service done. You have a rude, grumpy man as the face of your business. Customer lost.

I've been to YS&E for smog checks and vehicle service. The customer service has always been good and the quality of service/repairs has been great. I will use YS&E before I use a regular dealer (who I've lost trust with). I have been to two other mechanics in town and I prefer YS&E.Service: Auto engine diagnosticService: Auto engine diagnostic

This company promised me it would take 2 hours to get an initial evaluation to my insurance company for a fire that occurred in the dash. I was out of town and not sure where to go and since their name had the word "electrical" I thought they would be a good choice. It took 30 days before they even bothered to look at the car and many more weeks for them to provide my insurance company with a bid. The bid was way off, since they did not look far enough into the dash to evaluate the fire damage. After 90 days, and nothing done, I had my insurance company ship my car back 350 miles back to Los Angeles. This company never followed up with me as promised and any communication was always initiated by me. Don't come here...very disappointing!

These guys save our trip and a lot of hassle coming back from our half dome climbing trip yesterday. Justin tow our car and Toby help us fix the radiator hose connector while delaying his lunch break. They put us back on the road in a few hours. I love the small town feel of Oakhurst and the people make effort to help us and everyone out.

Yosemite Smog and Electrical is GREAT! I went to get my car smogged. I was first in line (get there before they open at 8) and my car was smogged first. Darrell, the manager who is a mature gentleman, was so nice. I asked him if he had something to clean my dirty windshield intending to clean it myself. To my surprise, one of the employees did a great job cleaning it after my smog test. I also told Darrell that my A/C was not working and he took a quick look to make sure that it wasn't something simple right after my windshield was cleaned, so I did not have to wait! Thank you, Darrell and staff!!

this place is absolutely terrible the service is terrible, the team are extremely rude. i got charged $148.00 for a DIAGNOSIS. do not recommend this place to ANYONE.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

Wife and I have been taking our vehicles here smog checks for awhile and if you get there right around the time they open chances are you'll be the first in the bay.That's how it is first come first serve Darrell is always friendly and helpful and they do give senior citizen discounts

Their good mechanics. I've had them do all kinds of work on my car and never had a problem with them. Only downside is their usually pretty busy.

I take my elderly neighbors car in for service and repair and they always treat her with respect and care. Good people. Honest. Hard to find.
