The staff is 5 stars! Perfect unexpected stop for us. We got stuck in the area because of snow and found The Oakhurst Inn. It was clean, and the staff was so kind! They let us check in early, check out late, and alerted us of road conditions. It is a very convenient location to get dinner, coffee, and snacks. Breakfast was fine, and the rooms were big and clean, I would recommend it if you are in the area.

With an unprecedented late arrival of 5 am, we were greeted by courteous reception staff that let us know included breakfast was in but an hour!Delicious and filling breakfast buffet, large expansive and modern rooms, and staff which would attend to us in any way which could make our stay that much better.

The rooms are pleasant, clean and quiet, though the motel appeared full including travelers from afar. The price was a great value. The best part was unexpected...the mattresses are new and provided the best sleep we have ever experienced at a motel. Breakfast was included with a wide variety of choices including eggs, yogurt, bagels and cream cheese and apples. Yosemite is not far, 1 hour 25 minutes to the Valley and a lovely drive. October is the perfect time to visit with the fall colors and fewer visitors.Nearby activities: The Wild Fig in Coursegold was a friendly restaurant and we had a delicious meal and dessert on the outside patio within view of the historic village.

Second time staying here, the first stay was 2 years ago, very pleasant experience with check in, however, with recent stay, just meh. The continental breakfast is typical - waffles, toast, egg sausage etc. which was the most value for the buck. Rooms are outdated but doable.. just don t expect much. Second floor rooms does not have elevators so be prepared using the stairs. Be mindful that every Monday they change the wifi password which the check in clerk failed to informNearby activities: Bass Lakesouth yosemite entranceFood & drinks: Lots of food choices nearby as this hotel is located along CA-41 like China delight just across itNoteworthy details: Mattress is firm and comfy

Pros:CleanComfortableQuietProtein options at breakfast, along with waffle makers, bagels, and cereals. The drive to the tunnel is about an hour away. There is a lot of driving to get to Yosemite. But, the town is charming and offers places to eat and groceries

you get what you pay for, room don t expect too much, like a brand new hotel, but it still has a function, I mean heater is hot enough, hot water as well. Tv cable available, microwave still ok, small fridge not ok.Light in the corridor at second floor not working, that s exactly in the front of the door where we stay, it looks scary and sketchy, I would say it looks a like living in the ghetto place. I hope management see that and replace a bulb.Breakfast is good,Location is convenient, close to restaurant, gas station and Yosemite NP,Staff Front office, I understand and I guess no body want to work. So I don t really care either,I just need rest and take a hot showerOne more thing, room is not sound proof,I can here next room do something in the bed, u know what I mean.Safety: Please replace a bulb in the corridor

Very fond with the prices per night they have here. Did read previous reviews on how the rooms were but to my own experience it was different. Very clean bathroom, the beds were comfortable & linens looked brand new. Small tv but it we were able to connect our game consoles so we had something for that at least. Very little issues along with the early check-in fee of $75. But, it was a nice stay over all. The full course breakfast was great as well!Nearby activities: Judy s donuts was our go-to for sweets! And just a walk to a few liquor stores is a huge plus.Safety: Not a lot of cameras on property but most parking spaces you can see from your room.Walkability: Convince stores in reach no hassle.

I was pleasantly surprised by The Oakhurst Inn at Yosemite. It s better by far than the photos on the site. Roomy, clean, super comfy beds and pillows, a nice sized fridge, etc. Our new favorite for relatively inexpensive Yosemite trips! Great breakfast- the best I ve had at similar free breakfast sites. Very accommodating! 35 minutes to Wawona Hotel.

This is a decent place to stay when visiting Yosemite National Park! The check-in process was, rooms were decent-sized, clean, and well-stocked with necessities! They have free breakfast in the morning which had quite a few options to choose from.If you need a place to crash after an adventurous day this place is worth considering!Rooms: 4/5Amenities: 3.5/5Breakfast: 3.5/5Parking: 4/5

Worst hotel ever! I had to ask them to clean my room the day I checked in. Mattresses worn out completely, no water pressure. They have comfort inn coffee packets in the room after loosing that flag over 2 years ago. Worn out Wyndham shower curtain. Bad smells, noisey, dirty! I wouldn t stay here if you have a choice! I only gave a star because I have to, I need to subtract stars. My customer is paying for the room, it s so bad I m thinking of parting ways from my customer because this is what they give you. Wow really bad!!!Rooms: Very run down, very Dirty

Extremely Old Setup.. May be not have renovated for last 30+ years. Everything is extremely old and at the edge of END. Location wise near to Yosemite - 20 mins from south entrance. If you wanna cheap place and don't plan to stay indoors..it could be a Good place. Also very near to all food joints, gas station. Have a Tesla Charging Station. If you are with Kids and want to enjoy your stay... avoid it.

CAR WHEEL GOT STOLENStayed at this hotel during our trip to Yosemite. Arrived on Friday evening, on Saturday morning my car was missing the entire wheel (tire and rim). It got stolen from the hotel parking lot. Had to call the police to report the theft. Apparently hotel has NO CAMERAS at the parking lots. Stay at your own risk.Instead of enjoying the Yosemite we had to talk to the sheriff, find the tire shop that would be open during the weekend, get the replacement, etc. Also, neither front desk personnel nor hotel management even say Sorry for inconvenience . Just told me that they re shocked. Had to pay for everything out of my pocket. Also, WiFi wasn t working as well.

I had a horrible experience here. For instance, ventilation in toilet and bathroom does not work, effectively a sealed room. That everyone has to enjoy poop smell in full glory and length. We didn't look at the bath itself, if it's not ventilated it could have lots of mold.Microwave didn't work. Fridge very noisy. All wall sockets were completely loose, unsafe to use.Ah, and the toilet itself is tiny, with the toilet seat very small really difficult to fit on it, very uncomfortable. And they jacked up room rate 5x for Labor Day weekend. We left after first night, completely disappointed. Not recommending to anyone. Two positives however Tesla Supercharger, and also internet worked fine with no extra fee.

Basic accommodations. While the rooms are in need of an update, they are clean, and the prices are commensurate with the quality of the hotel. Beds are comfortable enough. Bathroom is functional. Just know, these are not luxury rooms. About 45minutes to an hour to the *entrance* of Yosemite National Park. Didn't bother with the pool or included breakfast.

Hotel has no elevator available for guests. We were put on the second floor and had to carry luggage up very rickety stairs. Hotel is arranged in a motel format with exterior accessible rooms. Breakfast was subpar and very busy.Room had adequately functioning AC but had no functional plugs on the wall near the headboard which made charging phones a challenge.

The Oakhurst Inn at Yosemite, strategically located for those visiting the national park, offers a blend of comfort and convenience. The inn covers all the basics and boasts an inviting swimming pool which is a refreshing treat after a day of exploration. However, a word of caution for potential visitors: While we booked our stay in advance and felt it was overpriced, we noticed numerous larger hotels in the vicinity. This suggests that there might be opportunities for last-minute deals for those willing to take the chance. One of the key areas that could see improvement is the breakfast space. Mornings saw a rush, with the area often feeling overcrowded, which isn't an ideal way to start the day.The saving grace was undoubtedly the inn's staff. Their friendliness and dedication to guests added a warmth to our stay, making the experience more pleasant.

Rented this hotel room on July 8, 2023 for 2 days. I m disappointed because we did not get our deposit back. I was even nice enough to take trash out, and not make a big deal for receiving keys late, due to short stuff I guess, and not having the room clean n ready for on arrival time. The only good thing I can say is that breakfast and service was good. I had a hard time sleeping, beds are uncomfortable. Rooms needs to be cleaned better. I hope my review helps to make positive changes in this hotel. But we will definitely try a different hotel next summer 2024.

Made a reservation and was able to canceled due to weather in the area. They made the exception and did not charge me. Hoping for better weather to rebook before we leave town.Nearby activities: Yosemite National Park.

Pros: enough hot water for showers, good breakfast.Cons: The room is very dark as some of the lights are broken. The bed and pillow stinks with peoples body odor and very uncomfortable pillow. Hairs found on the towels. The bathtub is cracked. And last but not least, cockroach !!! You get what you paid for

We were all set for Yosemite and booked Oakhurst Inn through Expedia, but the rain had other plans. Roads were a mess, so I called to cancel a day ahead. I ran into Kaitlin/Keitlin/Kaitlyn (not exactly sure what her name is spelled) at the hotel's end, who was less than helpful and extremely rude. No refund, no sympathy, just a lot of hassle. It's not what you want when dealing with trip changes. I'm pretty disappointed with how it all went down. I read some other reviews; my recommendation is never to book here or on Expedia; there are a ton of hidden traps.

I am shocked by the serviceWe booked this terrible hotel for 2 nights. My kid got sick and we couldn't drive for our first night, but we went there for the second night. However, our room was DOUBLE BOOKED because we didn't show up yesterday!Nobody called us, nobody gave us any notifications - NOTHING!!!We even checked in online! They didn't care! What kind of service is that??? Who does that???They said that there is a policy... Well, it should have been written on the first page in red letters!!!!

Room was in disrepair. Mold growing in the ceiling, and carpet. Bugs in the mold. Had to get maintenance to bring some bug spray. Sink was clogged, shower falling apart and mold growing along the bottom outside tiles. Toilet seat was old and nasty. All the outlets were so worn out, I couldn't get my phone charger to work all night. I have pictutes I can share of everything.

We are having a great stay at Oakhurst Inn. Spacious room, good parking, nice town. A suggestion to improve: Breakfast is producing an incredible amount of waste! Please, don't use that much one-way forks, knifes, cups etc. any more. For the environment.Walkability: Restaurants und kleine Geschfte
