This is a nice quiet RV park on the edge of the river. We had a spacious spot that was easy to pull our 41 foot rig into. Staff was friendly and facilities were clean. Situated in the center of town, easy access to stores and dining options. Just down the mountain from Yosemite National Park. No real entertainment for kids but it was good for us as we spent our days at Yosemite. We would definitely stay again.

This place has the right balance of convenience, location and amenities. You are in the middle of a town, but feel like you are in the middle of the woods. Isn't that great! The kids are playing in the stream and having fun on the river bank, but you can also pop over to the huge Vons in a couple of minutes to get supplies. You are 25-30 minutes from the Yosemite park entrance (further to the valley), and you don't need to haul your RV or trailer up the mountain, since it's an easy/smooth ride in from the Fresno area and freeways. Just unhook here and you are off into the park and back here by dinner, where you have plenty of food/restaurants. The showers and bathrooms were clean, the staff was friendly and we had a grand time.

Good location after leaving a full day of Yosemite. Came in after hours and was able to pick an open spot and pay the next morning. We ended up staying 2 nights after planning on an early morning exit. Park is clean and electric/water available. Bathrooms were ok as far as cleanliness. Super sweet park cat that hung around while we were there

We are 6 days into a 14 day stay at High Sierra. We chose High Sierra because of its proximity to Yosemite, the conveniences of Oakhurst and my wife works remotely so internet was needed. I can t speak to the internet the park has available to purchase because we ve used our phone hotspots (AT&T) but we ve been able to stream movies, do video meetings and whatever else. So great cell service and internet here for us. The park is located in town but at night it s so quiet might as well be in Yosemite. I ve seen all kinds of birds, deer and a super adorable park cat. The people working the park are very nice. This is the place to stay if you want a 3 to 5 minute drive to Starbucks, dinner, grocery store etc or a 20 minute drive to Yosemite in one direction and 20 minutes the other direction is a pretty nice casino. No roughing it here with laundry, propane, wood for sale. Exactly what I was looking for. PerfectNearby activities: Yosemite, Bass Lake, Casino

Booked this at the last moment in May and was lucky to get a spot on the river with full hookups including cable TV. Great location a block from downtown and 30 minutes from Yosemite on hwy 41 and about 90 minutes total to Yosemite village parking. The price was affordable and the location was great. The space was plenty big enough in premium, deluxe spaces are slightly smaller. All spaces are river front and you'll hear the 2 small waterfall /rapids as you fall asleep. There are some bright floodlights across the river so be aware. Other than that quite peaceful, top levels are all permanent residents and are a world away. Small park, has laundry but you'll need to download an app. A great find I would stay here again. Management, Donna was very friendly. You really can't beat the price and location!!!

First off, if you re planning a trip to Yosemite - good luck trying to get a site there. This is where you want to be. It was my first time going out to check out Yosemite and needed a campsite in a crunch. I called over to see if any availability was open for my weekend, to which they did - and right by the river too! And when I say right by the river, I mean literally 6 steps from my campsite.Checking in: 10/10Checking in was a breeze, Katy which whom helped me make my reservation greeted me right away and provided a map of the property and offered me and my girlfriend plentiful options for activities nearby, she also told us the best times to go to Yosemite to beat the crowds which was a blessing, especially during the Summer!Campsite Cleanliness: 10/10Our campsite was very clean upon arrival it was almost as if our whole site was raked before showing up. And I mean the view we had was just amazing! (if available I d ask for campsite 12/13) We had power (household 120v, I believe) and water! I had brought my own water supply because I have been to other campsites with no running water (awful) but was amazed at the water and water pressure provided at our site! There was a shared trash bin between my site and my neighbor which was nice because again, I had brought my own due to previous experiences at other camp sites. We had a full bench and table which could easily fit 8-10 people. No spider webs - I usually look for these at sites!Restrooms and Showers: 10/10So I am a real stickler when it comes to the restrooms at sites, but seriously it was almost as if the staff would clean the restroom after literally everyone. Spotless and smelled really good! there was always hand soap, hand air dryer worked, toilet and urinal in the Men s restroom - brilliant! My girlfriend said the exact same about the women s restrooms. The showers were really clean, I m usually hesitant to shower at campsites but this place knocked it out the park, only downside was not having enough light but there was light and I tried not to shower at night. Plus, who doesn t bring flashlights to camp? Anyways, the showers were stellar and I can t knock points for having not enough light because there was literally a light in the wet area and dry area - plus plenty of towel/clothing hangers. This property was just too good we actually extended our stay. This was one of our most memorable trips and we owe it to Katy and all the staff on site!

Our Jeep club SoCal Gladiators just spent the weekend there and it was awesome! Right next to the running water that flows into the Fresno river, bathrooms and showers available, great trees and plenty of shade. Stores near by if you need things. Great rates and great staff. Will be returning with our club.Nearby activities: Bass lake and Yosemite Valley are a short drive away.Walkability: Plenty of business in walking distance if you like to walk.Food & drinks: Food and Drinks not far, multiple businesses near byNoteworthy details: Cant beat the location and rates for how close it is to Yosemite valley. Truly a hidden gem.

Cute small campground with nice spaces overlooking the river. Friendly host was very helpful. Spaces were gravel and level and had enough room for our two slides to comfortably open. The campground is very close to town, but has a nice private feel once you get down to the area near the river. Great cable TV selection offered and WiFi is available for a small fee. We loved the fact that we saw deer and ducks wandering through the campground and along the river during our stay. There is a small waterfall as well that was very beautiful. Quiet and peaceful area. Would definitely stay here again.

We have been here for the last 5 years, and we love it! The ladies at the front desk are just awesome, and friendly. The only thing I have to criticize, is the homeless and non camping people, hanging around and littering, also the over grown weeds, vegetation that covers the beauty of the river. I hope the new owners clean this place up.....see you next July 2023.

We were only supposed to be here for a couple of days to see Yosemite. When we pulled in we found a major fuel leak and we were heading into the 4th of July weekend. The ladies found a spot for us and we extended the stay and we got the RV fuel leak fixed. The service was above the norm!!! The stay is awesome, there's a river here and some swimming holes. Yosemite is only 13 or so miles from here and the town is a hop skip and a jump away.

This was my second time every staying in a cabin and this place was by far the best! The amenities were great they had a tv, linen bedsheets, fridge, microwave, shampoo, body wash etc.! The washrooms was not in the cabin and about a min walk but it was not a problem. There were 2 showers and 1 toilet-it was kept clean. The staff was so friendly and were very helpful. The cabin was near the main center of town quick walk or drive to restaurants and grocery store. Would recommend and will be back!

This was a prefect spot for our basecamp during the snow dump just before New Years. Roads in town were clear and easy to get up to Goat Meadows Snow Play area for some sledding. To get into Yosemite you would have needed snow chains as required by the rangers so be prepared. As for the Campground, Full hook-ups available (Water, 30/50AMP, cable tv, wi-fi free for an hour then a fee). The temps barely got down to freezing at night but the water hook-ups were still frozen until about 10am each morning so be sure to fill up your tanks when you get in. Quiet park with a good flowing river behind you. The sandy area could be cleared out of weeds better and the bathrooms/showers don't have heaters so they were cold. Overall a nice relaxing campground though.People were very nice and the surrounding area seemed safe. I plan on visiting again in the summer so I can do some day trips into Yosemite.

This campground is just okay. Would not recommend if you have kids. There is no playground, swimming pool, etc. Just a very small place to park your camper for the night. The sites are VERY close together. The sewer hookups are quite far from where they should be. We had to use 3 sewer hoses running up hill to empty our tanks. The sites are gravel and dirt, which is okay, but pretty messy. The showers are also are okay. The bathroom Is cramped but clean-ish.The shower house is up the hill from the regular RV sites, next to a very sketchy trailer park. I did not feel comfortable letting my kids go to the bath house alone, which was annoying. There is a swimming hole but that was also slightly sketchy. There were also several homeless people going through the trash at night as well.Overall this campground is FINE. The office staff were quite friendly. Would not recommend if you have kids or want more to do than just park your rv for the night.

Nice RV park near Yosemite. About 30-45 min to Yosemite NP. Hour and a half to the Yosemite Valley. Nice friendly staff. Very helpful with driving directions. Pay attention, because there is a much more RV friendly entrance than Google gives. Park is clean and well kept. There are a lot of residents, but the short term area is separate and next to the creek. Campground is very quiet even though spots are close together. They were able to accommodate our big rig (41ft) They also warn you about the ants. Heed the warning! Use talcum powder or some other repellent around your RV or tent. Tent camping available here as well.

Run -do not walk - from this campground. Be prepared to rearrange your travel plans if you need to speak to the office personnel as they are only in the office between 3 and 5. We arrived Thursday night and the bathrooms were unkempt. Sunday when we left bathrooms were still unkempt and had not been cleaned at all. Also, the hand dryers run continuously making the bathrooms very hot. The shower was also not cleaned, numerous bottles of soap and body scrubbers left from other campers littered the shower. I now have a foot infection that I suspect came from this place. When taking a shower be prepared to get dressed in front of the door and with people possibly using the bathroom stall or the other shower, you'll have to dance around with them for them to pass. There is no privacy and you may not be alone. The tent sites are too small and too close together so plan to rent two adjacent sites if you want to park near by other wise, you'll only have enough room for your tent and picnic table. Also, bring a popup canopy or something to make your own shade as most the tent sites don't have any till later in the evening. The cabins all share a single small porta-potty and require a walk downhill for a real bathroom or showers. No one in our group used the RV sites, tho they looked to be accommodating in size and had reasonable shade. If you do not intend to use the camp bathrooms, showers, or speak to office personal then this might be a reasonable option. I regret choosing this campground for my family reunion and have apologized to the my family members who stayed at the campground.

This was the least comfortable stay on our trip down the west coast. It wasn't awful, but the bathrooms were far away and crawling with bugs, and too small to accommodate the amount of people using them. The one shower had a clogged drain the whole time so you had to shower in ankle deep water. The cabins themselves were alright. There was a laundry room which was a convenient amenity, but it stayed open past the posted hours so my family assumed we could do laundry, as we were gone all day and didn't have a chance to do it earlier. But my sister was scolded for being in the laundry room late. If this was the case it should have been locked up according to the posted hours, not three hours later.

No hot water, heat, paper towels or air dryer in bathrooms (not sure about showers; didn't use those). Wifi is $3/day after 1 free hour. (Seriously? Aren't we past the point of charging people for wifi now?) No 120v outlet in site electrical box, so we couldn't plug in our offshore power. We won't be back unless there's no other place to stay.

Great campground if you aren't staying there all day. Sites are cramped, but with Yosemite nearby I doubt you'll be staying at the campground all day anyway. There's a fantastic little river and a nice clean natural swimming hole on the property, as well as hot showers. Staff are friendly and helpful!

Donna was extremely rude to me and a friend of mine, both locals. I could have potentially been a monthly tenant. We simply parked the car (after getting permission from the manager) and walked around to check out RV Sites & get a good dog walk in. We got yelled at by Donna when we came back and told not to return! We were extremely polite and courteous with her & obeyed her requests, and didn't come within even 50 feet of any of her guests! She was even slamming doors she was so angry! I literally was at the same property the day before and speaking to the manager about her monthly RV sites and she knew that I had interest in staying there. When Donna told us not to walk through the overnighter campsite, we didn't... When she told us to only go up the hill and check things out, we did! Apparently we exceeded our time limit and she had to "come looking for us". This lady seriously grunted, grumbled & threw a temper tantrum like a child that needed nap time or a time out. We will not be back and she should not be working in hospitality. If Covid created restrictions, then they shouldn't have had overnight out-of-town campers all over the place period! She should've been more concerned about them spreading germs than the isolated locals walking around simply breathing clean mountain air! I really still don't know what her problem was but apparently she needs something to calm her down a bit. Definitely not a professional or tactful individual.Beautiful area & place to camp though...
