We rented an SUV for 3 days to visit Yosemite with our E bikes as we were staying in our RV nearby and didn't want to drive that into Yosemite. Unfortunately the SUV we rented was not available but they were able to provide a smaller one which was not big enough to fit our bikes in.The Hertz rental agent at this location, Johnny was very accommodating calling us every day to try to secure a larger vehicle that we could fit our bikes in. Finally a large Dodge Ram truck came in and we were able to easily fit our bikes in the bed. You have to realize this is a very small town and this particular Herzt rental agency is just a small part of a larger automobile service and repair shop, they don't have a fleet of vehicles to choose from despite what the Hertz website may indicate, I would suggest calling them to check stock prior to renting but they are still at the whim of when or if the vehicles rented out are returned on time. However these guys work hard to accommodate we were very pleased with the service and pleasantly surprised there was no up charge for the larger vehicle. All in all the whole staff there was friendly and went out of their way to help us and it made our trip to Yosemite memorable !!!

Had an issue with some bad tires on a rental from another state. Johnny was able to accommodate me and got me back on the road in no time. Very nice, excellent customer service.

The greatest customer service experience of my life. The staff there did everything they could to help me when I was stranded. They exceeded any and all expectations and honestly brought me to tears of relief. Truly incredible staff at this location.

This was the worst car rental experience i have ever had. I flew from across Canada to visit yosemite national park. The Hertz in oakhurst didnt have a car for me, and said there was no way for me to bring it to SFO (i had booked this). Didnt even offer to help and i was stuck in the middle of nowhere. Spent half a day at Yosemite trying to solve it. In the end i got the bill for more than i had booked. Avoid this place at all costs!

My husband and I rented a car in Fresno and drove an hour to oakhurst. Needless to say, the rental broke down. We started searching for another car and reached Kutter, who had one car left, so he really saved us on our vacay! I loved everybody working at this place. Not sure about the young man s name at the front desk, but he was super sweet too. Thanks everybody! Rent from this place. Small town feeling business!

My husband and I were in a tough situation. My car broke down in Yosemite National Park and no one had rental cars available. After my husband called around within a 2 hour distance, finally an angel answered the phone, Kutter. After hearing about our situation Kutter managed to pull some strings and got us a mini van that would fit all of our camping gear last minute. Thanks to him and his staff they really saved the day and the rest of our trip. I would highly recommend this location to anyone! Thank you again Kutter for showing that you cared about your customers. We managed to get home safely, even through a horrible snow storm. Thank you again for everything!

Car broke down in yosemite and had it stalled at a mechanic, got to hertz who unfortunately did not have cars anymore, but this rating is mostly ment for the people who work there and who where incredibly helpful and offered to pick us up and helped us around. Great contact, great helpfulness!

Excellent customer service, cars are always clean and ready as long as the reservation is made in advance! Ashley and Michael are always friendly and there for their customers. Even when very busy they always take the time to tend to every customers needs. I don't mind a little extra wait when I see the attention they pay to ALL their customers, tourists and locals alike! Best prices and customer service in town!

Never happened to me in 10 years.I had a car reserved, 2 weeks before pickup, And I got a confirmation 2 days before the date. But when I arrived they had no car for me.They told me that was due to COVID situation (too many sold cars) - but still: a good software should have predicted that,Sorry but this is a clear NoGo and led to high additional cost on my side.

My first experience at Hertz in Oakhurst, Ca was flawless. The vehicle price was fantastic! Joseph was thorough in giving me instruction when I picked up my vehicle for a week. He was just as friendly and helpful when I brought my vehicle back and asked me how I liked it. He also offered me a ride to pick up my own vehicle afterward. I could not have asked for more from this company or Joseph. Thank you so much for such wonderful service!

I have had the absolute worst time trying to navigate issues/concerns with both this location and Hertz customer service call line.Any information that s online is incorrect about this location, because it s not a Hertz independent rental space they are in a mechanic shop. I could not get them to answer the phone multiple times and left voicemails. I tried to call the location to ask a question, which they referred me to the customer service line who then just told me i needed to call the location. It s a mess, and I just wouldn t recommend this place to anyone.

Terrible service. I rented a car from another Hertz location, and this Hertz at Oakhurst refused to provide any help.

The staff at Advanced Auto/Hertz car rental agency are top notch. Ashley is the most friendly Hertz agent I've ever met and always wears a smile.
