Absolutely great service and professional. The staffs were friendly and informative, I feel welcome and easy chatting with Scott and Edgar. The shop also provide drop off back to my place when I dropped my car for service. One other thing I need to mention of the how good and thorough the work was done in my car with the right recommendation for future service. Scott and Edgar at the service counter are extremely personable and helpful. I ve been taking both my cars here since I moved to Novato and have been more than satisfied for all the services we have needed. Would recommend to anybody.

The folks at Leonardi Automotive are exceptional. I had an issue with my vehicle and was told by another shop (won t name them here) that I basically had to buy a new vehicle. Went to Leonardi and not only did they fix the issue but provided a more accurate diagnosis than the first shop. Shout out to Edgar, who really went above and beyond in keeping me updated and getting my car fixed quickly. You have a customer for life.

I brought my 2018 C400 Mercedes a few days ago after a somewhat frustrating experience with Mercedes Marin s service department. I won t beat up Mercedes Marin here, but I will never take it anywhere.There was a blood curdling squeak and my break light turned on a month or so after my last 50k service. They identified the issue(s) in a matter of hours, offered me options to fix them remaining conscious of costs/payments, ordered the parts and my car as good as new in just a few days.I didn t get a chance to meet the folks who did the work, but thank you everyone. Edgar was a breath of fresh air and instilled confidence and trust from the first interaction. Even the owner personally texted me. Thank you!

Tony, Edgar and Scott are great to work with. They explain what needs to be done and in what timeframe. Taking your car in to be worked on can be a scary proposition, but I trust these guys and they take good care of my car.

I was a walk-in last week but from beginning to end I found the whole team to be accommodating, communicative and experts in their field. More so, they triaged my 22 year old vehicle, citing the most important work to occur first and what could wait. Lastly the bill didn t exceed the estimate. These folks are fair and square!

From start to finish this was a great experience at Leonardi Automotive! Their professionalism and communication was above and beyond! We were long-time customers of Tony s but for the last several years we were lured by the car dealerships pushing pre-paid maintenance plans. We now realize they are a rip off that make you go to an uncaring dealer for sub-par service.We are now back to Leonardi s and immediately appreciate the customer service and quality of care we receive.We learned our lesson!!

From the front desk crew(Scott and Edgar) to those cranking the wrenches(Chewy) I cant thank y'all enough. You are top notch gents who care about the work you do. Ive taken several of my ram trucks here over the years(evap leaks, codes, diagnostics) and now we have switched from bringing our 21 Toyota to the dealership, and instead bring it to Leonardis. Toyota had a faulty filter, but the guys made quick work of getting it repaired and even cleaning off the mess on the car.Great local shop. Will continue to bring my business here, and recommend them to all people looking for timely repairs.

I called the shop days before the Labor Day weekend due to an issue with my battery. They were very pleasant and found a way to squeeze me in. STAY AWAY! Look at all the 1 and 2 review reviewers!! Yah, sure ... you are so great that you inspire people who have never left a review for a restaurant or a bakery or their favorite florist ... anything ... to leave an effusive 5 star review for your auto repair shop?? 419 reviews!? Sure! More Leonardi lies. Look at all the other garages in the area and they have believable 20 or 30 reviews. Not Tony! Nope, when he lies he REALLY LIES. What else do you need to know about this guy?! This is NOT an honest business. ... In 2014 (10 years ago, I update this review from time to time!) he told me I needed several thousand dollars worth of work done ... I went somewhere else and it turned out I needed NONE OF IT! None... 10 years later and still, none of this "urgent" work has ever needed to be done. 10 years and 80k+ miles!!! Not one single thing on his phony fraudulent laundry list of made up repairs. I almost bought a new car because of this rip off artist. Luckily I called a friend who is a Tesla/Mercedes Benz mechanic 2000 miles away and he immediately knew it was just a scummy scam - like all Tony's fake posts. For instance, he said I needed a new rack and pinion system for my car and that we had to buy a refurbished one and those are very expensive and hard to find and it was dangerous to not replace it. My mechanic friend laughed out loud at some of it. Just a bunch of b.s. Guess what Tony Leonardi, my rack and pinion system still works! Crazy, eh? What a bad guy. STAY AWAY! Awful awful business, all lies ...

I wanted to find mechanics who would work on my 99 Miata & my 2012 Honda Fit. I needed to feel safe with them & believe they would be fair with service & pricing. It is very hard to be a woman in the mechanics world. Overall I had a very good experience! I had 2 parts that needed replacing. Fan and cabin filter plus a courtesy inspection and detailed reporting back to me. Edgar kept me informed and all staff friendly and helpful. I stopped by yesterday with a headlight that needed replaced. Edgar was his usual friendly self, took my car in & I was out in 15 minutes. I ve been a customer for years, they have always been very accommodating & very reasonable. A wonderful experience at Leonardi. I had my Porsche 911S well taken by the Edgar and the team, they really made it stress-free and easy. I felt very welcomed, well informed and taken care. It was my first time being at Leonardi and I promise to only bring my cars there for service from now on. I even got shuttled back and to picking my car when finished, that s definitely above and beyond in service. Thank you for a job well done, I really appreciate it.Service: Oil change

I have been bringing my vehicles here for years. Great, quick and friendly service. They are fair and alert you to upcoming issues. My most recent visit was last minute and they fit me in. When I received the vehicle it was like driving a new car. Handles so much nicer around tight corners which I traverse daily on my commute to work. Thanks much to Tony and Edgar! Leonardi Auto saved me literally thousands of $$$$ recently. The 'dealership' in Petaluma said the next step to diagnosing the cold start on my F-150 would be to pay them $5,600 in labor to pull apart the engine to the point they could figure out what was wrong. And maybe I should think of getting a new engine in at that point, for about $10k, if one could be sourced. I took their diagnostics to two other engine repair shops in Petaluma and those two shops went down the line of "yeah well we don't really repair engines anymore, we replace them, labor shortages etc.". So I had pretty much wrapped my head around the idea when conveniently the truck lost power and died on me on Hwy 101 in San Rafael before the holidays. Monday after the holidays I looked for mechanics with great reviews and one was Leonardi's. I called and Tony Leonardi picked up. The nicest, most professional guy who said "we don't need to go straight to engine replacement, let's take a look and if it's worst case scenario and your engine needs replacing I'll apply those labor hours to the engine replacement hours". I couldn't ask for a more reasonable approach, and he pretty much said "it's the right thing". I agree. I had my truck towed there on Tuesday and Scott his manager booked her in. Lovely, professional, reassuring. It was the holidays and people were off but their customer service was on. On Friday I got a call that it was the MAS (Mass Flow Sensor, not failing Head Gaskets as the 'dealer' thought) which they replaced for a total of $522. I have found my forever mechanic and can't recommend them highly enough! Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was happy with my first visit to Leonardi. They are easy to schedule with and send a very clear service document showing all of the findings with notes addressing them.
