Seems I'm always down here when I need a smog test (out of state ) and have done them here on n off for the past 6 years ( recommend by a mechanic). The guy who does them is quick, typically takes about 15-20 mins. Only downside is that this year the cost went up. Usually it was a solid $60 but went up to $70. The mechanic who recommended this location says he usually pays $40 (in state) . But other then the change of cost the guy is quick and friendly.

This guy denied my service eventhough, I had already paid him for the smog check. He never told me I had to come back within 14 days to get a re-check. I came in about about 3 weeks later, after I had fixed my car and he denied a re-check. He wanted to charge me a second time. I didn't think that was fair. Customers beware... I would suggest not to pay him unless your car passes or he at least makes the effort to tell you if there is anything wrong with your car first. This guy lost a loyal repeat client.Service: Smog certification

Quick easy and fair. Go online for a coupon. I passed the all the tests and the DMV accepted the paperwork without issue. Had one person ahead of me when I arrived and I was still in and out with-in 30 minutes.

This place is awesome. Online coupons and deals. Best price in the valley. W/coupon when availiable. I will tell you though your car better be up to date no mickey mouse $h!+ because he inspects every little thing .

Their advertised price is misleading and false. The price posted online was $19.95 for my car, but was I was given the a bill totaling $50. I was in a hurry so I signed and agreed, but after reviewing the charges on the bill, they made no sense; ineligible totals that didn't add up and made up charges... really unhelpful and unprofessional. After I left, I noticed my door handle was broken, which wasn't before.

Only had to wait about ten mins. the car passed the first time. The owner took his own coupon after explaining that they are losing money because of them. Still got the $25 discount

Great experience. No wait when I went there. It's tucked near the back of a series of car shops so you'd most likely find the place by googling it, which is what I did and it was the nearest to where I was at the time. In and out of there within 20 minutes or so.

If you need smog, this is a great place to go. Service is fast and the guy doing the smog checks is very fast. Parking is sometimes hard since the lot is shared by America's Tire and a number of other automotive shops. The shop is clean and there is free coffee while you wait.

He did the job very quickly, had comfortable waiting area in the garage. This guy's a hard worker, for my 2008 Prius it was $30 (+1.50 cause I used a credit card) and he sends the info directly to DMV. I didn't have to do anything to register the smog check.

2nd smog test in less than 3 months (so i can say i'm bit of an expert in smog cheks... this time on my 2006 corolla. Zaven was polite and easy to talk to.. More than I can say about Rudy Smog on Victory (who was polite but kept to himself). Was in and out in 10 mins on a monday early lunch time. Paid what you expect for a car of that year. $40 . He accepts CREDIT CARD! (for a $1.50 fee)

Don't even waste your time. This guy is so unprofessional and mean, I can't believe someone like that is still in business. He doesn't honor his prices at all, and is basically a snake oil salesman. Joe's Smog Check down the street is much better! I will never go to Zap again!

This place is a rip off they take forever to smog your car they don't honor the prices they are a total rip off. There are coupons online for half price and they do not honor them. This guy takes for ever to smog your car and he's a total rip off find someplace else to get your car smoged. watch out for this guy he's no good he's a very mean person and takes forever to smog your car. Watch out for this guy. I took my car and an hour later he tells me the car failed and wouldn't honor the half off coupon is a rip off. Don't go ther u will be sorry. There r half off coupons on line and will not honor them and he will fail you and make u pay full price. Watch out for this guy.

There was a coupon online for $20.00 smog check. But the owner did not accept it or explained why. Said it didn t make a difference on price. Ended up paying $40.00. I was in and out of there quickly but disappointed for false marketing. Not coming back!

Waited over an hour, was told I was second car in line, three cars later I follow up with him saying aren't I next, he states I left and I did not I was outside the entire time and that now I have to wait for 3 more cars to be done instead of just making me the next car due to his mistake. Waisted all that time, horrible customer service, I highly would not recommend this shop!

Not honest at all. Business advertise $19.95 + fees for smog check. I called and asked how much at smog check was, he said $60. I said, your website says $19.95, he became belligerent. Unprofessional, a real businessman would have retracted and accepted their advertised price. I went down the street and paid $30 (6224 lankereshim)

Reasonably priced they do all years of cars where a lot of smog places only do the newer models because the older models need to be put on a Dyno to be tested

Be amazing if they actually stayed open until 6pm instead of shutting down at 5:30.
