I can t say enough positive things about Alex and Solomon. It is so hard to find an honest car repairman, and these guys are it! Their pricing is reasonable and they re never looking to take advantage of you. They have done great work on our Dodge Ram Promaster AND our Land Rover for the past few years and we ve been very pleased with how quick and professional their work is.

I only bought my car 4 months ago at Carmax, I went there to do the oil change to make sure I was okay for a long trip coming up. They charged me almost $200 because there was supposedly a piece of plastic inside the gas tank but the lid was not broken, nothing. I still don't understand what happened.

Alex and his team are awesome. I do not know cars, but I feel completely confident when I bring my car in that it is being taken care of, and I do not have worry about bogus charges. Alex explains everything so even I can understand it. It is great knowing I have a place to take my care when needed.

I shopped around and these guys are the best!!! I have a Volkswagen and most mechanics won't work on them or don't know how to work on them and the dealership is often a rip off. Not only was Alex very knowledgeable about my unique issue he talked me though it so I understood the difference between my mechanic choices and got A LOT done in record time for a great value!!! I waited a few weeks to post just to see how the repairs are holding up. And my car has been running great!! I will only go to Pacific Motor now!! Solomon even gave me a ride home when I dropped my car off! Such a great experience. Save your time and money and look no further this place is honest, fair priced, and ladies they won't try and scam!!!**** Update 6 years later and I still think this is the best shop in So Cal! I have sent so many friends and coworkers there. He takes care of everyone like family. I just spoke to Alex about my transmission issues in 2015 Ram Promaster City, My concern was that I might have been ripped off by another shop. Alex gave me tons of valuable information specific to my car. I could tell right away he knows what he's talking about.I was referred to this business by another reviewer on yelp, person who was defrauded by the same dealership (Russell Westbrook Dodge Jeep Ram, Van Nuys) they came to Pacific Motor Center for second opinion and were highly satisfied.This is one of the most honest shops in the area I could find after long research.

Alex and Solomon are great mechanics. They are honest, upfront and reliable. As a woman, it's hard to find a mechanic that doesn't take advantage of you or talk to you like you are an idiot. I always feel confident that we will have the best results when dropping off our car. Took my car here for minor repair because it's close and they had good online reviews. The reviews are entirely justified. Alex fixed everything very quickly, and Solomon described the fix in fine detail. Good price, too. These guys are the best mechanics I've been to, and I've been to a lot. Fantastic, and my new go-to guys.

I have been bringing my 26 year old car here for years, and they keep it running strong. As a woman, it can be hard to find mechanics that don t treat you differently or take advantage. Alex and Solomon are great. They are honest and upfront, and I m glad I found such reliable mechanics. Thanks, guys!

I got recommended to Pacific by a friend who had great reviews about them, so I decided to go to them for fixing my suspension after a minor collision. Not only did they do a really poor job at fixing it, but they didn't accept that it didn't look OK after their work. I took it to another mechanic and they said they clearly did a bad job and showed me all the issues with the suspension. Never going here again. Please stay away.

This is the best mechanic in all the area, seriously. Always treated with kindness, respect, and fairness. I was in a huge bind with a huge part of my car failing and they took care of it quickly. I've come back ever since!

They were good for first few times I used them until I found out they were charging a little too much for an oil change. Not only that, I asked them during a routine visit if the tires looked fine to them. They said yes, it all looked good. Well, I drove for Lyft and the very next day, a tire blew out on the freeway... while I had passengers in the back. A whole day ended up being wasted because of it. Another mechanic looked at the tires and wondered why they weren't even changed out since he could see the clear wear and tear on them. So that was the last straw and ended up using a neighboring auto place since then. That kind of recklessness was something I could never forgive.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

I very rarely give any business the highest rating available, but in the 10 years I've been bringing my cars to Pacific Motor Center I have never had reason to complain. They maintain a high level of customer service, and they're very transparent about the work they're doing and what it cost. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. If you're looking for a mechanic and you can get to North Hollywood, stop looking.

These guys provide excellent, honest and reasonable service. We've been using their services for over 10 years, and they've always gone above and beyond, never padding the bill, rather looking for ways to lower it by finding better priced sources for parts. I trust the owners, Alex and Solomon without reservation.

Ladies be very aware... Went to go get a car inspection paid $60 cash (a hassle to get a receipt) thought it was a good price and was told that i needed a tire sensor so i paid $180 for the sensor, intallation and programming so then my husband checks my car and realizes that i didn't need anything so i wait three weeks before i go to the shop and when i show up the mechanic Alex tells me he hasn't ordered the piece because he wasnt sure witch sensor it needed so i tell him to cancel the order and that i wanted a refund so they give me back $68 because the diagnostic charge was not included in my first inspection and 20% restocking fee on a piece they didn't order. Making it seem that the installation fee and programming fee that i had already paid for was free. So im not going back ever such a rip-off.

Solomon and Alex are the best. I always recommend Pacific Motor Center. Bought a car for a good price from them even, and was the best car I ever had. Best mechanics in Los Angeles!

Fantastic! Great customer service and honest people!I have a 2001 VW Golf. My right front caliper wasn't releasing properly, and the brakes were wearing unevenly.I had brake/caliper repairs quoted at a couple repair chains (Pep Boys, Brake Masters, etc.) to replace brake pads and calipers. Pacific Motors rebuilt the caliper and replaced the brakes for less than half the other guys' prices.

FANTASTIC service, the Pre-Purchase inspection by Alex and Solomon saved me a huge headache on a truck I was buying. Without their detailed report I wouldn t have noticed some critical issues. Thanks guys.

No. It wasnt. I had to fight to just to get a receipt for the work I paid for. He will promise you all 100% warranty by his mouth, but 0% on the paper.
