This shop deserves 5 *****. I found on Google and decided to give it a try. As soon as I walked in I came across Paul and he greeted me and made me feel valued as a customer. Right away I felt in good hands. I've dealt with so many mechanics and not get the results I've wanted. Paul explained and the best part was his price I couldn't believe it was affordable he gave me options and he showed he didn't want my money. I will definitely keep going to J&C I highly recommend thank you Paul and your son.

J & C has been my family s Honda and Acura mechanic for 40 years!They offer the most competitive pricing. Paul and his entire staff are the most honest, kind and down to earth people I ve ever met in the industry. Thank you for providing top notch service all these years. You guys are the best!

If you've ever felt like your current mechanic is pressuring you into parts/prices you don't need, or you just plain feel uncomfortable, THIS is where you need to bring your car. Paul is an extremely kind and patient person, and it reflects in the work he & his whole crew put out. He will break down any questions you have and make sure you're walking out with what you need, and not what you don't.Plus, I had a bolt stuck in my tire once and showed up totally unannounced. He was able to get my spare on, guided me how to buy a new one from Costco (where I got the tires originally), and helped put the new one on as well.I would recommend J&C to anyone in the valley who wants a reputable and genuinely awesome mechanic.

Seriously one of the best experiences I've had at a shop since moving to California. The final price was less than the quote (when does that ever happen!) The service was fast and reliable and everyone there was friendly, personable, and seemed like they just wanted to do good work. They were honest with what was wrong and wasn't wrong on my 200k+ mile truck, and what doesn't need to be worried about right now. You can tell that Paul really loves cars and taking care of them. Will be going back for all my needs.

Paul, the owner, was very helpful and respectful. I have a check engine light on my 97 Honda Civic. He took a look at it and replaced the spark plugs/rotor.He was east to talk to and have a family oriented sense about him. I felt that he was being honest with me and I appreciated that.Will definitely be back.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

A few weeks ago I read Paul s service reviews and decided to trust the company by sending my daughter to him to repair her car. He was very professional, and patient as I explained what we speculated was a need for major repair. The day of her appointment Paul confirmed the car issue was a minor one, it was not time for an oil change, and bonus: he pushed out the rear bumper dent - at no charge. In this day and time, it can be a challenge to find this level of service and integrity.Thank all of you for your honest reviews which lead us to J & C Import. Solid Gold! Family owned and operated since 1976, owner Paul and his team of absolute gear-head fanatics that LOVE what they do will make sure your car is serviced to your absolute satisfaction. After taking your car in for repair/service you will feel like family here! Mechanics are on every corner, but honest, trustworthy mechanics who really care about the work they do are rare. J & C has serviced every car I've owned for the past 15 years and I even delayed scheduled service driving all the way from Arkansas just to have them do the service! They are THAT good!Do I really need to say 'highest recommendation?"

Paul is the man, down to earth and very skilled in his field. When it's not busy we've had great conversations and whenever I don't understand something he explains it in an easy way to grasp. I originally found J & C because I wanted a second opinion from what another mechanic told me. Good thing I found Paul, he quickly saved me $600. A trustworthy mechanic is hard to find so I'm sticking with J & C for the long haul. Highly recommended.

I've been coming to this family run auto shop for 5 years. I've always been impressed by the integrity by which Paul runs the operation. Many people have been coming here longer than myself. Consistent feedback always makes mention of their trust in the quality and value they receive. I have never been disappointed and have recommended J&C to friends and colleagues including my daughter who had been bringing her car for over 4 yrs. We both have Nissan Altimas.Paul consistently demonstrates stellar character; he's personable, detailed, honest and is always looking out for ways to save his customers money with excellent advice on service options.I'm always impressed by his strong family values which shows in the way he treats his family and staff; his wife and children work at the shop handling administrative functions. Paul's son will eventually take the reins of the place and continue to build upon an excellent foundation of reliable and friendly service.If you want an excellent place to take your vehicle (J&C specializes in Toyota, Nissan, Honda brands) and want v to save yourself the hassle and pain of dealership ripoff service centers, you will not be disappointed. They're open Tue thru Sat from 7am.Post Pandemic Update: through thick and thin, J&C Import Car Care continues to provide the same level of quality, service, value and attention. I gave this place a shot after having car trouble soon after moving here from Jersey and Paul was everything all the other reviews said he would be and then some! One of the best decisions I ve made since being here and highly recommending is an understatement! He knows his stuff and is a straight shooter, don t give it a second thought!

J & C has been a reliable place to take my 2004 Civic for ongoing repairs and maintenance. Paul has always been reasonable with pricing and only suggests the repairs that are necessary to keep the car functioning at a high level.Unlike the Honda dealerships, they won't suggest tons of expensive "potential" issues. J & C is definitely a place that you can trust with their advice and won't rack up unnecessary bills.Definitely recommended!

Paul is amazing! I was referred to him by two friends- very honest and organized. I would recommend J & C to anyone. I got a quick oil change and he checked out my car for rear breaks and alignment. He also fixed my car key which seemed impossible. 1 stop shop. :) Very happy customer.

As a Honda enthusiast myself, I can say that the owner Paul has forgot more about these cars than I will ever know. J&C built a project Civic for me. The work was flawless and completed in what I would consider a really short time frame. Paul is super friendly and would take the time to explain things and discuss anything that I needed to know. I live in Las Vegas and I would rather drive my vehicle to his shop than use anything local. They are that good.

I happened upon J&C a few years back and was blown away with how Paul and his guys operate. They are the most honest and good mechanics I ve ever dealt with. Paul always manages to put my mind at ease about my car. The work is always done right and on time. Paul even talked me out of some work I requested once and said I didn t need it. How about that?!?!

Absolutely the best mechanic in town. Paul is an honest, nice, stand-up guy who will tell you what's going on with your vehicle, and provide a fair rate for great work. I live in Woodland Hills but bring my vehicles all the way over to NoHo because their service cannot be beat.

I always recommend this place to friends. I was getting 'robbed' by my dealership at the time, and a friend recommended J&C to me. I went there and they quoted half the price of the dealership, so I never turned back. It's a mom and pop, so expect the service to take a little longer, but it's worth it. The people who work there are nice, and their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place. I suggest calling before you bring your car in, they do get busy.

Really great local mechanic!Fast service, honest folks and very fair prices.I fully trust them to take care of me and my car.It's best to call ahead of time because they can get busy on weekends - but they always try to accommodate drop-ins (especially if it's an emergency repair).Also they originally just did Japanese cars but now handle pretty much all common makes and models.

I have been coming here for about two years now and I love it. Everyone here is nice and exceptionally knowledgeable about cars inside and out. My car has been running better and better with each visit and no one is trying to sell blinker fluid. This shop is run by enthusiasts who actually love cars and have integrity and honesty in their work.

I always come to j&c for my motor swap up grade, turbocharged, complete rebuild, all motor high comp piston, a/c, and maintenance. They had my ef eg bar'd ready. Best shop for diagnosis electrical issues. Thanks Paul, Nathan, Nate and the crew.

Just took my car here, this business is honest, a few months back I went to another mechanic and was told I needed to change my axles, after visiting J&C Import I was told there was nothing wrong with my axles, they could have easily lied about it and I'd have believed them.They did an amazing job fixing my car and before that they recommended a tow service that was very fast.Their customer service is the best and so is their staff. Also, they gave me a discount for my first visit.

great place! i had my catalytic converter replaced here. the quality of service is great, and when i started my own business i took the example of paul of great customer service! I always say "thank you sir" when i talk to customers at the end of phone calls, same way paul does.
