Before I brought my car to American Modern Engine, I took my car to several auto shops to get an estimate. They all advised me that I needed a complete engine rebuilt? My friend recommended that I get one more opinion from American Modern Engine. To my surprise, my vehicle only needed the cam-shaft and lifters replaced. This saved more than half than what it would have cost me for a complete engine rebuilt. I was very impressed with their honesty. They also completed the work within 5 days as promised. This saved me money just on car rental. I am very satisfied with their work and my car is running great after 12 months. I highly recommend American Modern Engine for your major automotive needs

I had my engine rebuilt almost a year ago and it's been purring like a kitten. I had shopped around and these guys gave the best deal by far, and they include the service of taking the engine out of the car and putting it back in (of course, they use a partner mechanic to do that, but the point is I didn't have to deal with that, I just had to drop it off and then pick it up like three weeks later). Yeah it takes a while but it's worth it. I decided that I liked my very reliable and well-built 20-year-old Honda Accord so much that I didn't want a new car, I'd much rather breathe new life into this one, so I took the leap and had these guys rebuild the engine. It all went smoothly, and nearly a year later I can say it feels like a new car!

I needed my engine rebuilt and there was no better place than American Modern Engine! They by far had the best deal and my engine is still running today! Highly recommend if you are looking for professional and affordable service

First and foremost, the staff at the American Modern engine repair were extremely knowledgeable and experienced. They were able to diagnose the issue with my engine quickly and accurately, saving me time and money. They were also very transparent about the repair process and kept me informed every step of the way.

Darren and his team are awesome!! I dropped off my 2002 ford escape 4x4 to have a full engine rebuild and came back 4 weeks later to pick it up. I ve had the car back for about 4 months now and it s running great! Great communication and service. He was also very accommodating for the other things I wanted done to my vehicle while the engine was out. His mechanic fixed my AC (cracked condenser) and replaced my cracked reservoir tank so when I picked up my car it was like brand new. They even washed it for me before I picked it up. Highly recommend choosing Darren for your rebuilds! Great guy, fair price, great communication.

I had a 1979 Comet (yes, a Comet) that I couldn't bear to give up on yet. No one wanted to touch it with everything so computerized and electronic this and that. The guys were hands on, diving head first into the guts under the hood. When I got the car back, so many more memories were made. Thank you so much!

Spoke to Darren about rebuilding an early chevy 350 block for a 53 Plymouth. Gave me a price and timeline, dropped off the engine and got it back in time and looking beautifully. Definitely recommend this shop and I will be bringing my future builds to him.

After repairing an engine for my shop one of their drivers decided to deliver the engine back to me by throwing it onto the floor from his truck bed and dragged it across the pavement because he didn't want to scratch his truck bed. We'll see when we install it if it's now damaged due to their incompetent driver.

I asked for a complete restoration of my engine but was completely disappointed. At first I thought it was a misunderstanding of miscommunication but the main boss Darren was outraged when asked if he could finish the job I originally asked for. I tried to be decent, but he wasn t having it and continued to raise his voice. He claimed it s impossible to clean an old engine block throughly disregarding remanufactured blocks. The job I received initially was a block that had old paint showing, some old gasket still on the fuel pump housing, corrosion and rust within the block, and it took 4 months to complete after repeatedly being told another 2 weeks, another 2 weeks. (Photos will showcase my experience)Overall bad communication, probable lack of knowledge from concerns I had with my situation, and lack of good service. Don t not recommend at all.

I brought in my 2005 Dodge Ram with 190 K miles on it for getting the engine rebuild.Darren and his team did excellent job, the job should've been finished in 3 weeks but my truck was ready in just about more than 2 weeks.The engine is running great and smooth, when it's running it has no vibrations and If I can't hear the engine I can't believe it's running.These engine shop really deserve 5 star rating.Darren and his crew are experienced, knowledgeable and professional and they delivered what they promised.I highly recommend this shop to everyone who is looking for the high quality of workmanship.

I have purchased multiple engines from American Modern Engine and they have all turned out very well. They do quality work. I m very pleased with their work. Fast lead times and they pick up and delivery. Darren and Edik and the rest of the team are very easy to talk to and very honest people. We will keep coming back to them for all of our engine builds. I waited a few months after I got my engine rebuilt by American Modern Engine. So far my engine is still running strong, no leaks, no noise. I'm very happy with the service I was given. Price was fair, includes removal and installation. Other shops only wants to do the actual rebuild, but not the removal and installation. I'll definitely come back for any engine rebuild I need in the future.

Awesome experience from the first phone call to pick up my Dodge Challenger. I picked up my car a few days before the due. Excellent customer service and step-by-step updates. No surprise charges like you can expect from the other shops. Professional crew.

I'm in the process of rebuilding my first engine, so I'll be honest and admit I'm not totally keen on every detail of a head rebuild. What I do know is that the head for my E46 ZHP was finished and delivered as promised, looking great. They also squeezed in a job (decked my block) on Friday afternoon for me so I could continue work over the weekend. Darren was kind enough to answer my newb questions and offer advice about engine rebuilding. This place is busy and I'm pretty sure I know why. Picture shows resurfaced head - I should have taken my pistons in too. Thanks guys!

The service here is fabulous with 100% costumer satisfaction. Always top notch customer service. Do not hesitate to bring your engines here! They are the best machine shop I ve ever worked with, these guys are the best and friendly, they know how to get in your head and create what you are thinking of. I Will definitely work with them again. Great work, on time and hassle free. Super helpful.

Im just going to sum it up in few words. They are amazing and very professional. Finished the complete engine rebuild on my Chevy Silverado sooner then promised. I highly recommend this business as there are not a lot of mechanics out there that you can trust. Top notch service guys. Keep it up

This place is definitely recommendable I took my 98 Ford 4.0 motor to get remanufactured and wow!! It runs smooth a quiet and full of power I love this place I will definitely recommend this place to family, and that guy Darren great man and workers to.
