I had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with this truck repair shop that I feel compelled to share. First and foremost, their pricing is beyond exorbitant. I was in shock when I received my bill, which included an $802 charge for a simple oil change. I've had many vehicles serviced over the years, and I have never encountered such a price for something as basic as an oil change. It felt like highway robbery, and they didn't hesitate to charge me this astronomical amount.But the problems didn't stop there. The staff's unprofessionalism was evident from the moment I walked in. They were rude and seemed disinterested in helping me, treating me more like an inconvenience than a paying customer. It's disheartening to encounter such a lack of courtesy and respect.The real shocker came when I inquired about a replacement part for my truck's DEF system. At the dealership, this part was priced at a reasonable $85. However, this shop had the audacity to charge me a staggering $357 for the same component. This level of price gouging is simply unacceptable, and it's clear they are taking advantage of their customers' lack of knowledge.Adding insult to injury, my invoice contained numerous "fees" that appeared to be nothing more than made-up charges. These additional fees only served to further inflate the already absurd bill.To top it all off, I discovered that the manager, who should have been overseeing fair and ethical business practices, was, in fact, a swindler who seemed intent on ripping me off. It's disheartening and infuriating to realize that someone in a position of authority would engage in such unethical behavior.In conclusion, this truck repair shop's pricing is grossly inflated, their staff is unprofessional and rude, and their manager is nothing short of a swindler. They completely ripped me off, charging $802 for an oil change, $357 for a part that should have cost $85, and adding absurd commissions to my bill. I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this establishment and seek out a more honest and reputable service provider for their truck repair needs.It's truly disheartening to hear that this truck repair shop has resorted to such unethical practices, including writing their own positive reviews to deceive customers. This behavior is not only dishonest but also a breach of trust. It's essential for consumers to be aware of such deceitful practices and make informed decisions when choosing service providers.In my opinion, they are nothing short of scammers, and I urge others to avoid them at all costs. Beware!

Best place to get your truck fixed quickly and at reasonable price. Team is amazing. Peter and Igor are your go to people, very knowledgeable. Good quality of work. They charge you fair price.

Hi Guys! Sorry for such an extreme delay in putting this up. I wanted to let you know I made it home safe and sound!I'm from Colorado and my Ford Excursion was making a bit of a weird noise. They were booked solid and still took in my truck to try and help. Sergio stayed after hours (until midnight I believe) and figured out the problem. I had a few of my "negative nelly" friends concerned about the repairs being done. Most shops would have seen me coming and saw dollar signs. Mel took his time to explain everything and Sergio was not offended that I had one of my out of state friends double check the repair suggestion. All and all, I am very happy that I found these guys and they were able to get me back on the road feeling safe. Thank you again guys!!! I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate what you did!!

I m really happy to have found Diesel Kings! I have a one truck company so I really can t afford to have down time. I recently needed to have my radiator replaced and after calling around to a bunch of shops that either don t service Volvo trucks, quoted me outrageous pricing or told me it would be weeks before they could get to my rig, I finally contacted Diesel Kings.They were actually helpful on the phone and they were able to to do the repair right away.When I showed up at the shop I realized I had actually been there years ago. I don t know what happened, but this place has totally transformed. They seemed pretty busy, but they re super organized and have the cleanest shop I have ever seen.I m really impressed but more importantly I m really grateful for their team! Side note, Peter the mechanic is a rockstar!

I was making an overtime trip for my company to Reno when my brakes decided that they did not want to respond correctly right before CHP inspection. I asked the team if they recommended anyone to get my rig looked at and they suggested Diesel Kings. They diagnosed quickly and found a leak near a fitting. The best Diesel repair shop in the greater Sacramento area. I have had every type of repair you can imagine done by this shop and never an issue. 10 out of 5 if i could give them a rating. Talked to Mel over the phone he was very professional and told me it would take 30 minutes for programming my truck and it only took 15. This place is definitely not your average truck repair shop. Price was extremely fair, just an awesome experience overall. If you re in Sac, go to these guys for your everyday truck needs!!

They repaired my 2016 Volvo, I had transmission problem, it didn t shift properly and 3 services couldn t resolve my problem, truck were there for 3 days and I got back perfectly working truck. These guys are top notch! They have seen me multiple times and each and every time I have been treated like family, and taken care of quickly, and at a cost far below anywhere else. Best of all, their professionalism and knowledge are on point. They have taken care of me on short notice and haven't missed a timeline when they said it would be ready. One of the best places I have ever done any type of business with, not just trucks.

Highly recommend Diesel Kings! We own a small trucking company out of Iowa and run out to California frequently. One of our trucks needed a repair and they were able to get us in and get us fixed quickly. They also treated our driver very kindly. Their customer service is top notch and I believe they go above and beyond to help their customer's. We've been in business for a long time and you don't come across a shop like this very often. The next time I have a problem in the North Highlands area you can bet I will send my truck here!

I had bad experience dealing with Vander haggs Kansascity, swapping engine but thanks God my friend Mell Owner diesel Kings saved me by repairing engine troubles and cooling system just at so low price that was very much affordable. Diesel King s is the top mechanic shop in the greater Sacramento area. I have used them for several years now and for every mechanical job you can think of. Price is always reasonable and the down time is always minimal. Our 2018 Tiffin Bus needed the DEF sensor replaced before leaving northern Ca. Tiffin was more than helpful to overnight the part at no charge, However, we tried all the certified Tiffin dealers, and had no luck getting in for the repair. La Mesa RV (in particular) told us it would be September before they could schedule us. What?...a 6 week wait?Mel, the owner, of Diesel King's was a lucky find. He not only answered the phone, he told us to come on over, he'd get us in, and on our way. We limped the RV to his shop w all sorts of warning bells and buzzers going off. He and his shop made the repair in an appropriate amount of time, cleared the codes, and all for a very reasonable price. We are grateful to have found a reputable, fair shop, especially last minute for an emergency repair. As most of us know, and it's unfortunate, most repair shops do NOT operate at this level of professionalism. Thank you Mel! We appreciate the service and wish you the best with your business. Side note, this shop is a little difficult to find. The shop is behind the building that faces the street.

These guys are professional, polite and transparent.Mechanics are honest and willing to work with you. They keep you in the know at all times, take their time to explain why something needs to be done, and they don't try to slip in extra procedures.

My diesel pickup broke down in a neighborring businesses parking lot. Went and talked to these guys, spoke with the owner, "Mel". He spent one half hour of his busy day trying to diagnose my trucks "hot no start".Eventually the truck cooled off and started and I was on my way. But kudos for customer service and willingness to help people out. That is rare these days. To have your semi or commercial diesel truck repaired, I highly recommend this business!
