Very professional, great communication. Joe was able to get my truck in right away. He took the time to explain everything to me, in a way I was able to understand what was happening with my vehicle. I will definitely be returning for future repair needs. I highly recommend Brake Time Auto Repair for their great and honest service.

The only shop to finally fix the AC of my 2003 Merc after numerous shops tried and failed. Very courteous and professional. Recommends additional fixes but does not upsell. Prices are competitive, but gets the job done.

The best shop I've been too. The name is Brake time Auto, but they do any kind of mechanic work with cars/trucks. The guys that work there are very considerate and the most Honest mechanic's i've met. I told him i had a problem with my ABS on my truck and i didn't want to get crazy with the price, so the whole time he was looking out for me..trying to find me the cheapest but still quality parts. The whole time he called me and kept me updated. Joe even came to the shop on his day off for me, so he could have a guy come and program my new ABS Module he installed, which was the only availability the programmer guy had that week. The best part was, they didn't charge me a crazy hourly labor rate..when he found out what was wrong, he said it would be a specific price range & My truck stayed there for about 3 days total..and it stayed that Price. Thats service i appreciate, this shop is Solid..& i would recommend them to anybody.

If you are looking for an honest, hardworking mechanic you need to come see Joe! He has always gone above and beyond to make sure that he actually finds the real problems with my car and comes up with the best and most affordable ways on how to fix it! He saved my life and my wallet with my engine because he wouldn t give upon finding a solution like most places would or try to jip you for more money. This is definitely a place and person I trust with my vehicles and would highly recommend to everyone I know.

If I m lying, I m dying This man Joe is a life saverrrrr!! Not only was he able to fix my brakes BUT I damaged more than the brakes. I damaged the veins inside the drum because the back brakes apparently don t have rotors. Joe is very knowledgeable in his work and how he works/ very respectful & straight forward. Majority of reviews are fake so I took it upon myself to research and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. Joe is very respectful as well and has great customer service/ the most important part is Joe is honest in his work. If you got car problem, don t go home call Joes phone !! Thanks Joe!! Awesome experience!! Had problems with the car brake. I went here because of all the reviews, and I made the right decision. Correct diagnosis and honest advice. Joe explained the mechanism clearly and offered different options while recommending the best one. I feel a lot safer driving my car now.

My Mazda 3 2015 had handle break issues. I stopped by the shop made an appointment and in the same day it got fixed!Great service! I like how he communicated in a very professional but relaxed way. It was easy to understand and he seems to be a very honest and trustworthy person.Considering doing other fixes here in the future!

I found myself at Brake Time Auto Repair because my check engine light was on and my car had not passed a Smog Check. I also needed my brakes done. I was treated with courtesy and professionalism. Everything was explained to me in layman's terms so I could understand. I appreciate an honest and reliable mechanic and will only bring my car here from now on. I have also recommended Brake Time Auto Repair to my family. I encourage anyone in the North Highlands area and Sacramento area to bring your car here for repairs.

Brought in my grandpa's truck after 2 other shops claimed to fix the crank no start problem he had. Joe found out those shops wired his truck incorrectly and fixed it within a day. Very knowledgeable and extremely fair repair cost. I had a friend work on my car and then it wouldn t start. I called Joe to see if he could be of some assistance and he was able to get me in right away. I had a loose spark plug connection that he fixed promptly. He also assisted me with another problem with my jeep for an affordable price. He is very professional honest and easy to work with. Honest and beyond reasonable!! I've been looking for a mechanic that I can trust and not be overcharged. Didn't think there was one out there until I found Joe. He came highly recommended and now I know why. He's honest...knows what he's doing and won't do unnecessary work. And he'll save you money whenever he can! I came across Brake Time while browsing community forums and I'm real glad I did. I called to schedule an oil change and Joe was extremely thorough, responsive, and patient with me. He explained things to me and showed me what was going on with my car while he worked. Joe is an amazing and honest guy ever that you will hardly to find anyone like him. I had my rear brake replaced in my accord few months ago and I don t even understand a car language so he had walk me through the process which make me feel at ease because at dealer would eat all your money out which is not necessary. the prices are extremely reasonable and affordable! I would always reach him out whenever my car in needs, not just for brakes so he can do anything he can do to help with! Thanks to this guy!

Joe is probably the most honest and trustworthy auto mechanic in the entire Sacramento area. He has made it clear he does what he does because its what he loves and his customer's satisfaction and safety when leaving his shop is top priority. No hassle, worry free, honest service. Will not charge you for unnecessary repairs and does great, amazing quality work. He's been my go to guy for all my auto problems for the past year and I will continue to go to him as long as he's in the Sacramento region. Had trouble finding a good and trustworthy mechanic until I was referred to Joe, he did a complete new installation of my rear drum brakes and a also put new barrings, on top of that he bled breaks too all within about 4 to 5 hours, even told me to comeback if there is any problem in the future with the brakes. Had a great experience here. Went in a few weeks ago to get brakes done. The other places felt like they were either were trying to get over or not patient with explaining pricing. Not this place . He was very knowledgeable and explained things and made it make sense to me. Price was better than everyone else s. This is my new spot

Brake time is the best car repair shop I ve ever been so far. I really recommend everyone to try this place. Ive used them for mechanic issue with my car and they did a great job for my vehicle. Joe have an Excellent customer service with fast and quality skills. He did a great job taking care of me providing all the service I need. I think I've found the most honest and real mechanic in Sacramento! The work was fast, the price was great, and Joe's skills speak for themselves. His ability to explain everything was amazing, and I came out knowing more about my vehicle than I ever have.I feel safe in my old vehicle once again, and I highly recommend Brake Time.

Amazing experience. I brought my vehicle into Brake Time Auto Repair, through the referral of a parts store manager. The parts store had checked the code for my check engine light and advised of the sensor that my car needed. When I spoke to Joe at Brake Time Auto Repair, he advised me that the code could be from various issues and it would be best to have him properly diagnose the issue accurately. This way he could guarantee the fix. So glad I took his advice. Joe is extremely honest, trustworthy and a true master mechanic. He diagnosed the issue, which wasn t the sensor at all, got rid of the check engine light, and saved me $$$ that I was already prepared to pay for the sensor. I m so glad I was referred to Brake Time Auto Repair. Joe truly goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. Thank you Joe, for being awesome.

I heard about Joe through my brother and decided to give him a chance since I haven't been happy with the dealership I usually use and let me just say Joe will be my new mechanic for all my future services. It's one thing to find an honest mechanic but its amazing when you find an honest mechanic who do a quality job with very affordable prices. He explained everything thoroughly and consulted with me before doing the work and even found an issue that I didnt know I had and potenially saved me a lot of money. My brakes feel safe again I will tell everyone I know to come here for any auto work especially brakes! Thanks Joe.

Joe at Break Time makes dealing with car trouble so easy. The services he provides are great and breaks everything down and is honest of the services needed to your car. I had called 3 other places to get my front brakes done and they were crazy expensive! .. I came across Joe business and boy was I glad ! I gave him a call he was very eager to educate me on the service I was looking for. I even asked questions about other services that I would need in the future and Joe was happy to educate me on those as well and when I would need to get them done. Joe was able to get me In The same day ! He told me he would need about 40 minutes to complete the service and he got it done in about 30 minutes! He test drived my car to make sure everything was okay and he explained everything he saw and did with my car brakes and educated me. I was extremely please with the amount of care Joe gave me. . Joe ensured me of anything was wrong to give him a call. Yall his pricing is reasonable and fair and he did good work. .. yall if you looking for a good mechanic who gives good customer service and care to your car head over to Joe business!! Joe is amazing! I can t say this enough. I took my car in because my brakes stopped working. Joe took his time to look into my issue and diagnosed the problem. It was difficult to find parts but he didn t give up. He called me every step of the way to make sure I knew what was going on. He is honest and trustworthy. As a woman, I feel that I have been taken advantage of before by mechanics, I did NOT feel that way about Joe. He provides quality work and service. I will continue to bring my cars to him. I decided to give Brake Time Auto repair a chance when getting the brakes on my 2007 Subaru Outback done. I thought I only needed front brakes, but Joe alerted me to my back brakes needing work and showed me the damage to prove it. I got incredible service at a very fair price. He even drove my car back to my home for me so that I wouldn't have to Uber. He was very communicative, and prompt. Brakes are working really well now and I will be going back to him for other repairs, since he doesn't only do brakes.
