BEST MECHANIC IN RIVERSIDE! HONEST, RELIABLE, QUICK AND EASY! GREAT SERVICE AND CUSTOMER ATTENTION! Came for a Pre-Inspection Service to buy a used car I found on FB marketplace, and the owner checked the entire car for me and advised me to that it s a good buy! They are great hard working people! A MUST COME!!

I just had a wonderful experience with J&A. My first time getting a repair with them and I will be a repeat customer as well as recommending to friends and family. My car was looked at and repaired on the same day brought in, plus an oil change, tire rotation, and various other safety checks. I got an extremely reasonable and honest price. The woman at the front office was so friendly. I also spoke with Jacob and felt like my car had been in expert care. Would give more stars if I could.

Honestly, go somewhere else. I brought in my Dodge Charger 392. They aren t upfront with prices and they ll charge you for replacement parts without even telling you before hand. Over the phone, they tried to pressure me into making the deal but in person they try to be more sincere, it s funny honestly. Gabe was getting mad because my car is a performance car. He honestly doesn t know what s he s talking about, thinking someone s been in my manifold before, no one has lol.I came for a misfire and they determined it to be an electrical problem with the computer. Pricing is definitely very expensive here. To switch out the computer, it s $150 for labor when it s a 5 minute job . So if you liked getting scammed go ahead and go here.I didn t end up doing the process because, way outta my pricing range that i had thought ($1800 just to switch the computer), so when we came back for the car, It had NEW check engine codes. Of course since they re crooked, they aren t going to do anything about it. My car was on limp mode and was locked in 2nd gear only. My car came out more BUSTED then when I brought it there.Then under the hood, my brake fluid lid was missing. When we asked it about it, they said it was never there . Little buddies were trying to fight about a little $5 lid. I always work on my car relating to my engine and doing maintenance work so i m very aware on what s supposed to be there. They ended saying that they ll order a new one for me free but guess what, they never reached out to me.Place is very crooked, go look for another mechanic for your car. Over priced, not communicative, and liars.

Reputable, local shop with decent diagnostic skills. Work on all makes. Service brakes to transmission. Cheaper than dealer prices.

I've brought my car into this shop multiple times. I'm always amazed at their professionalism. A/c stopped once, alternator stopped working, and most recent ignition coil replacement. I had to wait a week for an appt but worth knowing my 07 yaris is in good hands. I'll keep coming back

I love these guys. I even checked to make sure they worked on Subarus before I purchased one because I only go to these guys for my car. I come from Redlands, too. Honest, reliable, don't try to sell you more product or services that you don't really need, and the lady at the front desk is amazing. They never need to advertise because it's all word of mouth business, they will never not have work!

Very good mechanics with excellent ethics, but communication is difficult, causing issues, including not receiving estimates of charges before the work is actually performed. In fact, still waiting for a promised call back that looks like it isn't going to happen.

I drove my Cadillac Escalade from Tennessee here for a visit and had a check engine light cut on. I was ripe for a pruning by a mechanic, 2100 miles from home needing engine repairs. Reading reviews, I picked J&A because of the reports of honesty. I am pleased to say I was led to them. Besides honest estimates they delivered quality workmanship and finished the job the same day I brought it in at a price LESS than what they quoted (they found an easier way to do the job and charged me less - that s HONESTY). Honesty, timeliness, quality at a fair price with great customer service. I had an instant rapport with Frank. Add all that up and it s a blessingService: Engine repair

Glad that these folks were recommended to me! I was very happy with the work that they did on my wife's Acura RDX for less than half of what the dealer wanted for a reasonably simple job for people who knew what they were doing. Very professional, with good communication and again, very fair prices.

Profesional staff with a long history of serving Corona, Norco, and the Inland Empire. Staff was very knowledgable and very fair on price for repair. I would highly recommend J&A Automotive.

I have been a good customer for over 20 years. Gabe and Jacob are the best in business. They are fair and honest mechanics with high quality results. Although I live in another city, I will never go to anyone else. I've owned several vehicles and J & A have serviced them all. I highly recommend!

There is only one thing I can say about Frank and J&A Auto, if you need your vehicle serviced, take it to them. They are reputable, honest and experienced. Finding those qualities in this day and age is not easy. I'm a skeptic and this company has turned me into a believer. They did a multitude of things to my 1993 Chevy Silverado, they did the work in a timely manner and at a very reasonable price. I am more than satisfied. Wife's car would not start right before work! Managed to jump start it so I can drop it off at J & A with no appointment. I figured, whenever they get to it it's still better than being stranded and have to tow it from somewhere else... When I got there and presented the problem, Gabe came out and said, "let's check it out real quick, and if it's the battery, we can swap it out in 15 minutes." Wow! I was blown away, considering their next appointment isn't until next week. Long story short, I was in and out within 20 minutes. Their customer service is unbelievable! This is my 2nd time getting my vehicle services at J&A. Frank, the front desk rep is extremely friendly, helpful and willing to help. The entire team, including Jacob really took care of he, communicated their assessment and provided good service at a fair price. I will return again. Speaking from the female perspective this shop is welcoming and the mechanics don't talk at you, they talk to you and that makes a huge difference:)

Fair and honest. I took my car here for the first time this week. I knew what had to be done (the specifics of the job, steps involved, etc.) but I didn't have the correct tools to do it myself so I took it here. The estimate I was given from J & A was much less than the dealer estimate which I knew either had to be charging me for way more labor hours than it actually required or way overcharging for labor per hour. I figured a skilled mechanic could have the job done in a few hours and the J & A price reflected that. Another impressive part of the experience was that they didn't try to sell me on fixing anything else. I usually maintain the car myself so I know there is nothing that needs addressing at the moment but with most repair shops (especially at the dealer!) they try to tell you need something else. Usually some service that you you could use but don't NEED. I have to say that I will be taking my cars here from now on for anything I can't handle myself. If you want somebody honest with a fair price, in my experience this is the place to go.

I called J&A Auto from Colorado to help my elderly father in Norco. Turns out the engine needed to be replaced and instead of doing the repairs, Frank explained that the truck wouldn t be worth the money it would cost. Frank was willing to accept my decision but advised not doing the repair. The people at J&A are honest, true gentleman. I can not recommend J&A enough. Really nice people. What can I say except, Exceptional, Professional, most reliable and trustworthy auto shop (Gabe & staff) in all the inland empire and this is not just my opinion. Ask around, I dare you!! The shop, Gabe and the great staff have been in the Norco area as long as I can remember, at least from the beginning of the 1980's, from personal experience and family members that lived in Norco, Ca. I myself lived in Santa Ana when I met a Young Gabe at the time (i was a Young lad myself) and was referred to J & A Auto (was J & A Honda at that time) by my nephew. Now, Iive in the Lake Elsinore area, have a 2004 Chevy Tahoe that needed major repairs done, and I will ONLY come to J & A Auto for quality work that I can trust and a "more than decent price" that won't break the "Piggy"! I have been going here for years and they always do an excellent job for a fair price and don't try to get you to do work you don't need. One time I requested work and they said if I fixed it, it would break again in a few months so I shouldn't get it done. They have a lot of integrity at this shop. Plus, they have a fast turn around too!

The most honest Mechanic shop around. Frank and his family are just honest hard working people. I have multiple cars and take them all to this shop. I even had a Transmission shop who could not diagnose a problem send me to J&A. That is how I found out about them. Just a solid well run business. And yes they fixed the Transmission problem.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My car was seriously overheating so I didn't dare drive it. I called all around and couldn't find any place that had the time to look at it, including two different dealerships who said they wouldn't have time for it for 3 or 4 days. Then J & A Automotive was recommended to me by a family member, so I called them first thing in the morning and Frank said to bring it in as soon as I could. I got it there within the hour and they found out what was wrong with it, fixed it, and I was able to pick it up that afternoon! It is still running perfectly and I'm very grateful to them for doing such a great job. My experience at J & A Auto was very pleasent. Everyone was polite, helpful, and professional. It is such a good feeling to know that if my car gives me trouble or even just needs regular maintenance, I am confident that I know the best place to take it.

J&A now repairs almost any vehicle (30 yrs ago Honda/Acura). IF the dealership is best, J&A is a very close #2. For 30 yrs I've trusted them with my cars. Never failed to deliver. Our work truck broke down. Had it towed into J&A. Gabe and his crew fixed the problem as well as a few other issues and had it ready the next day! Been taking our work and personal vehicles there for years. Highly recommend!

After coming here about 4 years ago I won t go to any other mechanic. I don t even live locally and drive here just for the great service. They have worked on my Mini Cooper (an older car) and now my Honda Civic. They are honest and fair, great staff. Thanks much Jacob and Gabe!
