Went in as a walk in to view a car. The receptionist was nice and helpful and had one of the sales reps come over. The sales rep walked past me without saying hello or anything but I guess it s because he went to get the car to park it out front. Test drive was ok. However He didn t really know anything about the car since he had no answers to my questions so that s off-putting Went inside to run numbers only to find out AFTER that s there s a nearly $5k charge for a protection package that the car already has or comes with! I tried to get them to remove this but they said they couldn t until 10 minutes later they decided to. They don t work with you in the price at all and don t take any other bank. They make you finance through there s. Didn t get a car here.

honestly had a great experience here! No haggle, no hidden fees, and I left with my new model s P100D feeling like I got a tremendous deal. I would definitely recommend OC Chief Auto to friends and family. Take a chance and don t listen to some of these negative reviews, people are harsh. This place has some incredible customer satisfaction, service, and definitely very reliable. Thanks for the amazing service guys!

I usually don t do reviews. But I have to this time. This is the best place to buy a car I have ever seen. I can recommend them over and over again. Bought a fantastic 2019 Tesla Model X with great price. The car is as if new. Their service is top notch and they are willing to assist you to the end.Thanks to Marco and Nik.

Was lucky to work with Nick on my model X, placed a hold and got the keys within a week. Lots of people come to look and inventory goes fast. Small issues like old seals, paint chips, wind noise, but these are easy fixes and well worth the discounted priceThese are the steps I followed that might help:1. Call and check if vehicle is available/go for a test drive2. Place a hold/small deposit if you like the vehicle3. Get financing within a week or so, call to confirm one last time before getting dropped off that day to sign and get keys

I bought the car and received very good service. I left San Diego at 11am and was returning with the car at 4pm. The owner is an excellent person, I recommend it.

One of the only dealerships who DOESN'T HAVE add-on prices for rims, ceramic coat, GPS and random dealer fees. Nick and his staff treated my family with respect and made my kids comfortable while my wife and I looked at the vehicle. I would definitely buy my next car with them!

My wife and I just purchased a 2017 Tesla P100D from these guys. It was the color and pkg I had been looking for. Didn't haggle on price, spent 130 on Uber to go get it and 40k dollars, and two days later I went to grab the charger cord from the trunk where it was on the other two we bought from Tesla, and no cord. I call them and he says he would sell me one for 250 dollars and that they don't come with one. There are plenty of reputable dealers to buy a used car from. These guys are not them.

We are so happy with our new car. Thank you for making this experience painless. We had been looking to buy a Tesla for weeks and went to many dealers. This was the first and only professional experience we had during our search. We've never owned a Tesla before and Nick took the time to show us everything about the car and how to operate the various features. My husband and I are a bit technologically challenged, so this was a great help. Their staff is so kind and accommodating. Again thank you so much.

Recently bought a Model Y with low miles for a pretty darn good deal. Saved around $15k vs new for something that was relatively low miles at 31k. I checked out multiple vehicles of the same model and color and chose based off of what I thought was in the best condition. They get a lot of vehicles constantly so if you're not 100% satisfied-check back in another week and you might be ecstatic about what you find. Friendly guys who give a great service and are really straight forward. Im happy to finally have my Tesla and be doing road trips in it.

Had a really good buying experience at OC Chief Auto. Sam showed us the cars with zero pressure which was very cool. Nick was super nice and helped us with all the paperwork. They were honest and had all the carfax reports available. Would definitely do business with them again.

Don t waste your time. I inquired about several vehicles and nobody reached out. Called them all day and nobody answered. I went onto their very own website and chatted with someone to have them assist with getting me connected. I was told they would send them my information and someone would get back to me. I didn t hear back from someone until 6:50 p.m via email (they close at 7) mind you i chatted with someone at 9:30 a.m. Usually when you inquire about a vehicle the sales people blow you up looking to close the transaction. But not this place I found myself working harder to speak to them than the other way around. Horrible experience. Missed sales opportunity.

Tried to buy a vehicle, everything was smooth until I checked the car history and showed severe structural damage. Immediately refused to sign the contracts and when asked they denied that there was any damage showing me a report from a month ago that didn t show the damage. Still waiting to have my deposit returned weeks later.

today I went to see a tesla model s, the employees don't know anything about these cars they made me wait 1:30hrs to talk to the manager, when the middle eastern guy manager arrived he was very rude to me and just told me that he couldn't help me Because what I owed on my car was a lot, he didn't give me options or anything, this car agency apparently only sells to clients with zero debts, that is very bad, terrible service, please don't go and buy from this place, not for nothing. They only has 3 stars here ,

6 Month Update: Since buying my car I have had it in to Tesla for minor service and recall to the rear camera, during which i requested a full, used car inspection. Marco did show me the car fax before purchase and i was aware of a minor accident with the car had 10 miles on the odometer (i think someone got excited with the amount of power the car has). Tesla said that the car was in incredible shape and even though the car was technically out of warranty by age, provided all the service under warranty due to it's low mileage and superb condition. Not sure what all the bad reviews are for, but I got an unparalleled deal for my Tesla Model S without any headache or fuss! They stayed open well past closing time to help make sure all the i's and t's were dotted and crossed. Don't be dissuaded if they do not answer the phone as the low prices have their phones constantly ringing off the hook. In that same vein, come with your checkbook or financing plans ready as there is lots of competition. They are a high volume seller so something you see on their lot today may not be there tomorrow. Nick was very patient with me in my cavity check of a car inspection and he even came all the way to a supercharger so I could ensure charging worked. Take a chance on these guys and head down to their dealership-- I'm sure you'll end up leaving with something nice and extra change in your pocket :) Plus, their yummy assortment of snacks don't hurt either!

Purchased a smooth driving 2017 Chevrolet Corvette from them around a few months ago and they were kind, respectful, honest and disclosed the entire CARFAX to me. I dealt with Marco and he was honest and genuine and gave me an amazing deal on this car. Please do your self a favor and don't go shop for a new car to this place, they are a crooks. I made a deposit for $500 to hold a vehicle. When I was heading to the dealer to confirm my appointment they notify me that the car was already sold to someone else. I did not get mad at all, I just laugh about it, I am glad I called before I get there. Immediately, I demanded to get my refund back. A few days past by and never got my refund back, then I decided to call them again. I get on the phone with the Manager and he mentioned that the refund will be send it to me at the end of the business day. Its been more than 3 weeks this is happened. Bottom line to this, till this day I haven't received my refund yet. I will call my bank and I wd have to deal with them. I AM DONE!

Cautionary note, only. I did not visit or buy but I did read their disclaimer about not being responsible for "typos". Please do that.I found a Tesla Model S (5YJSA1E24JF294494) with a written description claiming one owner and that it was a Model 100D, at a very good price. Later in the carfax report (on the OC site) clearly stated 2 owners. Ok, I can live with that. Checked the vin, turns out it is a 75D not 100D. Thus the price was not as good as I thought and I can't drive 90 miles just to check.Note to those who respond to the reviews, I included the Vin so it will be easy to find and correct the "typos". Sorry about the stars but I had to indicate something that was close to the average.

Nice group of salesmen. Just make sure the protection package is removed from the sale of the car and also double check your rate with the bank if you re financing or they ll hit you with a near 10% interest rate and say they don t have control of it. Same lender offered me 6.24%Overall good though

Was ready to purchase a Tesla. I put in a request multiple times through online sources, carfax, auto trader, etc. did not get a single call from this dealership. All I got was emails about leaving a review on the experience. After reading all the reviews, I m glad they didn t call me. Ended up buying a brand new Model 3 through Tesla.

Do not buy from this place unless you want to go broke. They sell gram damaged cars.also, had me drive down from san diego 2 different times. On the second time I finally was able to test drive the car and after I got back they told me it s already sold. I had already called 3 times that day ensuring the car is still there and he said it is still here . worst car place

They photoshop their own carfax! Be careful and don t buy from this place pls! I had the same issue (structural damage) trying to resell my car at a Toyota dealership and found out it was a lemon! This dealership say the cars are certified too but in reality they re doing it for themselves and don t care about you!

I came across OC Chief Auto online and instantly saw the great deals they had on used cars (recent years, low miles, low price). Their cars do sell fast, so I definitely would reccomend giving them a call to verify if a car is there and/or placing a hold if truly interested in a car after seeing it. The people running the place were very helpful, provided carfax info, answered all my questions and even worked out small things with me (even though, I may have been a bit particular). Really satisfied with my purchase a 2017 Toyota Corolla, I've barely had it for a week and thus far everything seems great about the car itself. It is still under the dealership warranty which is the greatest thing ever.
