Newport Lexus was a great place to buy a car! Abe was very accommodating, by that I mean patient, while I perused the lot until I found my perfect car. I was in search of the LX F Sport and headed to the local store near my residence last Friday with my checkbook and wife. Reminded of the memorable radio ads from my upbringing in Northern California, where Joe Putnam used to say, "bring your checkbook and wife to Putnam Cadillac."Unfortunately, while I was examining the vehicle, it got sold. I requested the salesperson to find the exact model and color, but he stated, due to dealer trade constraints on the weekend, it wasn't feasible. I said 'Okay???' Then the following Saturday morning, I contacted Newport Lexus. Mr. Anthony Troxler answered and after explaining what I wanted, he assured me he'd locate one and call me back. True to his word, shortly after, he informed me that he'd found the exact vehicle. I went to the dealership with my wife and checkbook and made the purchase. In no time, the vehicle was ready, and we excitedly took photosand left.I am absolutely delighted with this vehicle, and the dealership experience was outstanding. Anthony was a pleasure to work with, fulfilling all that he promised without any shortcomings. He's an exceptional person to deal with.When I returned to ask some questions about the vehicle's functions, a big bird landed an auspicious poop on my vehicle while I was driving over. Oddly, I was happy as I've heard it brings good luck, though it still needed a wash. Upon seeing this, Anthony congratulated me on the 'luck' and promptly arranged for the car to be washed. He also ensured my questions were promptly answered. They now have a thoroughly satisfied customer.

"We promise to respect and value your time as much as you do"--the slogan on their business cards.For context, I was a consistent customer at this dealership and was perfectly fine with the service in the past. The dealership is so close and convenient, and I hadn't had issues in the past. I came here looking for a replacement part after a piece of debris flew up and hit my car on the highway. I looked up the part online beforehand on parts on parts (dot) lexus (dot) com (the official website for parts that you get navigated to directly from the lexus) just to get a ballpark estimate of what to expect. I decided to make a quip stop by while on my way somewhere else expecting to quickly and efficiently order the part and schedule an appointment. I get seated at service in less than 2 minutes flat, and service calls their parts manager to get an estimate for the part. The part quote ends up to be nearly $600 (~40% markup) more than online. Service offers to direct me to the parts manager to discuss further with him just to see if there has been some sort of mistake.This is where the root of the frustration comes from. I understand that parts need some level of markup to account for the labor that goes into sourcing parts--handling returns, shipping, stocking, etc. all takes work that needs to be paid. The parts manager though just couldn't keep a consistent story and backtracked back and forth. He immediately brought up a completely different website (lexusPartsNow) and explained they are a third party website that pretends to be affiliated with lexus. I told him I got to the parts page from the lexus website, not lexusPartsNow. He dodged this by saying he knows the website looks official, but then insisted it is third party and offered to take 10% off. He also pretended to not know what the official parts website is at all. He told me that the only way to ensure the parts are original is by talking with a dealer and ordering through a dealership and that there is no way at all to order a part online to a dealership (this is not true for all Lexus dealerships which you can confirm by simply calling other dealerships). I showed him the website with the online price. He then immediately recognized the site, knew how to navigate through it (told me to go to the next page, etc.), and said that this dealership is simply not enrolled in the online order program because being enrolled causes too much order traffic to flow through since this dealership primarily tries to focus on in person traffic. The story is simply full of inconsistency. I understand sourcing parts requires work, and you need to pay for that work, but when you are doing business with people, you should be upfront about it. I used to go here for convenience, but this entire experience seemed like an unnecessary expenditure of time. All of this seems like an avoidable inefficiency especially when there are dozens of other certified Lexus dealerships that will accept genuine parts from the official site.

I felt like I got a good deal on a good car. When signing documents, the representative (Adam) assured us that they don t sell customers information to outside sources. They may not sell it but I m pretty sure someone has accessed it. Here s why. When speaking to the sales person, he asked who would the primary driver would be. I told him it would be my wife, Linda. He also asked for my cell phone number. Within a few minutes I got a text from him on my phone but the message was addressed to my wife. Since then I have continued to get text messages and phone calls all addressed to or asking to speak to my wife. In less than one month I have received nearly 30 calls like this. Blocking them is pointless because they just change the last 4 digits of the number they are calling from. So far I have counted 18 different numbers. So much for protecting the customers contact information.

A wonderful experience. First time Luxury car owner, bought my 2014 Lexus IS350 F sport used about a week ago and it needed the transmission, differential fluid and coolant replaced. I called and spoke with Amber, she was very kind and personable. Quick to set up an appointment and get me set. When I arrived Sean with service took care of me. He went over my options as far as which repairs I d like to do and made it a very easy process. I live about 20 miles from the dealer so shuttle was out of the question but he didn t hesitate to offer me a loaner matching vehicle but a 2022 model. Overall everything was done right and I am very happy with my experience. Thanks to the tech that also took care of my vehicle. No mess left behind and the repairs were done right. Thank you Newport Lexus!

I am gonna give an honest opinion of the service and Newport Lexus in general. My visit for a rotation, oil change and wash took over 2 hours even with appointment. They also did an MPI but that honestly should take that long. I asked about a service that is listed as a regularly serviced item in the owner manual and I know it s supposed to be done but it seems like the Lexus and Toyota dealers no longer correctly service their 4x4 systems.I walked by their new car sales department and wasn t helped until I walked by a salesman waiting for non service clients. I ve been to other luxury dealers and I am at least helped by people by just walking around a show room floor. The only reason I am really bumping it to 3 stars was because Ted their salesman whom I spoke to is a true Lexus enthusiast and seems like he knew his Lexus vehicles.Overall everything was just okay, from the service to the work done, to the time it took.

Tried selling my 2023 Lexus to them. Out of 6 dealers. They offered me $2000 less than the next best offer (and $6000 less than Carmax). They told me it would have been more but Lexus had a $3500 incentive on new ones, which was a lie. I checked as soon as I got off the phone. I thank the extremely low offer to try my luck at Carmax. The other dealers were withing a few hundred from each other. Only writing a review for this dealer because of that and the fact that they straight up lied to try to convince me that it's a fair offer.

Great experience working with the internet team and Mitch S. I was buying the car from out of town. They were very straight forward on the pricing - no market adjustment or other fictitious charges that I have seen at most dealerships. Mitch picked me up from the train station. The car was clean and ready to go. Very professional business transaction. No theatrics (good cop-bad cop) were present. Highly recommend!

The service advisor I met with was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in explaining how my vehicle works. It was my first visit to the Newport dealership (where I bought the car) and the first visit for service. Since this dealership is 80 miles from my city, I'm not sure I can always visit them, but when I want to take a drive, I will stop by. (Four stars due to lack of Concierge services and snacks.)

Newport Lexus is a 5 star dealership all thanks to Robert Manzano in Services. very personable and cares about his clients to provide the best service. He went out of his way to do what was best for my car while it was under warranty. I would personally go back to Newport Lexus because of Robert and highly recommend him to all my friends and family. If you ever need any car service, ask for Robert. Very cool guy. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Robert for the 2 years of L-Certified service!

I had a guy on a motorcycle riding into my lane and left a few deep scratches on a hood and passenger s door. I took my car to Newport dealership for repairs. They agreed to do the bodywork since it wasn t a major repair. They did an absolutely terrible job. I asked to re-do and they agreed, but did absolutely nothing to improve the appearance. On a sunny day my black car has a few white -ish casts and buff areas are still visible. I wished I argued more with them when they completed the work, but didn t complain. Every time I look at my car, I m reminded of a poor job they did. If you need painting/body work on your car, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Purchased a new IS 500 only one with red interior around, the salesman Ted Scwartz actually held the car for me because it was raining and work schedule (I was driving an hour +). He was great, seamless, nice, absolutely 0 complaints, helped me with a great deal over the phone that never changed. Their repair guy Tony did a bad steering wheel scratch on it, well bad to me and I had my doubts but he made it look and feel brand new, definitely a miracle worker. Highly recommend any type of leather work in your car to take it there.

I have never had a bad experience with any Lexus dealership I ve used for service. However, the team at Newport Lexus went way above and beyond. They were so kind and efficient. I left something in the loaner. While I went to pay the team moved the left item to my car. 100% recommend using Newport for purchasing or service.

Roberto Manzano, certified Master Service Consultant. Is knowledgeable of issues to be provided as well as issues needed. Able advise and always call back asap with any concern I may have with my car from very small to larger issues that concern me. I trust him 100%. Great asset to Newport Lexus. As he is aware I've had multiple tire purchases w/in a short period of time.

We got a brand new battery last month for our LS 460 and for a couple of weeks, the battery was not working properly, , so we scheduled an appointment with Service advisor Joey Wilchek, he was able to do a deep cycle battery test and to make sure the battery was in good condition. Always great to work with Joey, he responds well always explains the process and saves you time. Get you in and out! Much appreciated!

Service department help desk managers other than the nice lady who usually answers the phone don't even return phone calls. You leave them messages and wait for a long time. Sometimes, they don't. And even if they do, they usually are very late.A few years ago, we missed a genuin part that was attached to the back gate of our SUV to help keep it open when we had to service it there. Only once did a service manager help install a front light bulb to our vehicle two years ago.They do, however, one good thing that is shining customers' cars after the servicing. Their bill is usually high in my standard if the customers need any service done to their vehicles there. The cleaning fee may be secretly included in that bill.

After few phone calls with Greg Holly at Newport Lexus on 12/01/2023, less than 30min., we've made a deal regarding 2024 Lexus NX 350h, my wife and myself picked this SUV in the next few hours. It's a pleasure to purchase a vehicle at this dealer and specially with Greg Holly, he's very quick, precise, helpful, courtesy and maintaining professional manner in dealing with customers. I'm a senior citizen, back ground in Purchasing, bought over a dozen of vehicles during my lifetime but this is the first time ever, enjoyed and it was a pleasure at this car dealer.I would recommend Greg Holly and Newport Lexus, you will not be disappointed.

I drive half an hour to get my car serviced because it is such great service. Everyone is friendly, professional and they keep me updated on when my car is ready. When it's time for a new car, I'll probably get my car from Newport Lexus because they are just that good!

One of the worst experiences I had with this dealership. I said yes to a car virtually, and was filling the application while being on the phone with the sales agent. When I was meticulous fillinf in the details, they told me to stop and filling in the form because there was some one else in person looking into the car. Even if we were first to say yes to the price that they were asking they did not offer it to me because I was just on phone. Finally the lexus manager hung up the phone on me and did not sell me the car. It was highly unprofessional and bad communication form the agency. Rather a very bad representation for the lexus brand. Fortunately, I am getting a better deal without markup price at another dealership with better sales experience.

As a business owner looking to make a business purchase I can strongly recommend Newport Lexus and Summer Curry. They claim on their website to be the "vehicle finder" and I can attest in these times of very limited inventory she found what I was looking for in one day. The price was very fair as well. All the details were handled over email and the car was delivered to me with the paperwork. Talk about no hassle purchase! Thanks Summer I highly recommend them if your looking for a Lexus.

My service was great as usual. The loaner car was a brand new can, easy to drive. However after I drove my car, it has a screeching sound from the break. I need to take my car back for re-inspection as my breaks are in great conditions.

Older model ~ 2013 E300H. Lucky for me this car hasn't given me any challenges. Now at 150k miles, needed some to update some items...I called a few mom and pop shops ( Who only works on Lexus) After dealing w unrealistic timelines, I reluctantly took my car in. Greeted by Joseph Wilchek - who is the man! Easy to communicate with and always responsive. Price was lower than expected w/out having rolling the dice w a mom and pop shop. Definitely bringing it back!
