I came in for an oil change yesterday and everything went as smoothly as it could have! My service manager Dom, took a look at everything and let me know what he thought needed attention. It was a great experience and Dom was very personable. He also gave me a recommendation for some tires!After reading so many negative reviews, it's evident that people are not aware of how car dealerships operate. They make a majority of their profits through service not car sales.The service advisor's job is to RECOMMEND services that won't be necessary (crankcase flush, throttle body cleaning, etc...). This is not a personal choice, but rather what they are trained to do by Mazda in order to generate profit. In general, if you plan to have your car serviced at any dealership, you should anticipate this and check your car's service schedule to know what is actually required for your vehicle at a given interval.

Worst experience ever there. Please don't go there and choose different service center. Their front desk is not knowledgeable and make you pay for nothing. I clearly described my problem that my BSM module is not working and they said okay we will diagnose and fees is 250$ which I agreed to pay. Then asking me to pay another 500$ for further diagnosis as in 250$, they diagnosed my tires/battery/fuel level which anyone could do free outside, so weird. If my problem was well known about blind spot issue why are you checking my tires and fuel level and not actual blind spot issue? Poor staff and poor service. After I declined to have any further diagnosis, they made me wait over night and even the next day had to wait for 2 hours to get car back, saying the technician started working on other car, such poor customer satisfaction. I wish I'd never have gone there and not committed to pay anything.

Avoid this service center at all costs.I had a pretty bad experience during my last service here. My service advisor was Dom. He recommended all the unnecessary things to do, at the time I didn't know what these things are so went ahead with it. Made a bill of 600-700 dollars, when I went to the pay the bill, the lady there said the actual bill was 100-200 dollars higher. Initially, she was like the initial quote and the actual bill can differ because of taxes etc. I asked for Dom, he reverted it back to the original quoted price, said there was an error.Usually I get feedback email after a service but this time I didn't? It feels like these people are just here to make money and don't really care about the customer service.

We bought our CX5 here and we like this dealer much more than the one on Steven s creek. The sales and finance teams are much easier to deal with. And we are very happy with the service department.

Not a reliable and trustworthy place for vehicle service. I gave my Mazda CX-5 for service. The service person in the front desk is not knowledgeable and didn't provide clear details about the vehicle condition even after charging 600$ for just regular maintainance and diagnostics. Really disappointed and I don't recommend this place after this! They just try to sell the most expensive service item on the menu without any reasoning behind why it's needed.

My significant other took the Mazda CX5 for routine oil change and tire rotation and the service rep recommended all these useless repairs . Keep in mind our Mazda has only 30k miles and we don t use it tow as it s only for a family SUV. Changing spark plugs at 30k . Such a joke . Of course we said No but asking all this is just excessive

Brought my CX5 in with engine problems. Quoted me $3000.00+ with no guarantee it would work. Took my car to Escutia's Auto Repair and based on Mazdas quote, they charged me $800.00 for parts and labor. Works like before! Don't go there, they upsell on everything. I miss Redwood City Mazda!

I usually go here to serve my Mazda car. Usually they are good with their customer service, their service level agreements and quick in analysis and keep you posted on what needs to be changed or at least they will make you aware of. It's your choice if you want to make those changes or not, they don't force you. I like their service usually oil change, car rotations, checking brake pads and other filters. But mostly other services can be very expensive. You often want to service your car from where you brought it from.

Every time I visit I feel like I m shelling out a $1000 for some random issue (happened 3 times thus far) which wasn t the case when I was visiting a different Mazda center in San Jose. Will likely switch back to them as they seem to give me a better heads up about the service coming up for the vehicle and don t shock me with expensive repairs frequently.

So have them car for full detailing, maintainer, brake, battery and door issue.Good thing they gave me loaner for period of work and as discussion full detailing was made free instead of discount.After keeping my car there for 2 weeks when I got for first time detailing was not done. They took it back and returned after a few days, as a curtesy they drove it back, however again last row, door bins, under seat were bad. So they took it back again and I picked after 4 more days due. Found after reaching home glove box and under middle seat is still not cleaned. (This time I am done, so not reaching back and giving up)Inall office staff was curtious and sorry during first return. They tried to to keep happy, however if workmen ship is bad office staff can t do much.This was my third service with them and atleast it forced me now to try other place.Services: Auto battery replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Auto detailing, Auto interior vacuuming, Car waxing, Battery, Oil change

Zero stars. Service was bad, staff is unprofessional and irresponsible. I went in for a simple oil change on Saturday and they said the car will be ready in 2 hours or so. I didn t get a call or text and when I went back to the service center after 2 hours, they all left for the weekend. They should ve called or texted before closing the business, irresponsible and complete disregard of customer. They were not apologetic when we went to pick up on Monday and manager was very rude and unprofessional. Do not recommend this service center to anyone.

I recently visited the Fremont Mazda Service Center to replace the broken windshield on my Miata. Unfortunately, my experience with this service center was disappointing. I went there on Feb 9th to order the glass, but nobody ever contacted me after a week. I had to call them 4 times to finally know that the glass had arrived. When I got there, I was informed that they ordered the wrong glass that does not fit my car. It took another day for the correct glass to arrive.After getting my car back, I noticed that my wiper arm was not fully retractable, and one bolt cap was missing. I contacted the representative, and they said I could drop by, but when I got there, they said they don't accept walk-ins.To make matters worse, I later found out that whoever worked on my car at Fremont Mazda put 36 psi air in my tire, where the OEM suggestion is 29 psi. This mistake could have caused significant damage to my tire and reduced a lot of the driving experienceOverall, my experience with the Fremont Mazda Service Center was unsatisfactory. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and competent service. Their lack of attention to detail and poor communication skills are concerning.

This is one of the worst locations for Mazda service.The staff is rude, specially the current manager. They scheduled me for an appointment for a regular oil change and when I drove all the way to the dealership to drop off my car, they told me it will take 4-5 hrs to get the oil change done.First of all, a regular oil change shouldn't take that much time. I asked if I can get a loaner car since the wait time is too high. They outright denied. I was still patient and gave them one more try. They said they can reschedule for the next day and they can get this done much faster. I agreed and rescheduled for the next day. Guess what, I called them the next day before leaving for the service, and checked for the wait time once I drop off the car. They told me it will take 2.5 - 3 hrs. I wasted almost 2 hr previous day in all this and now again they are asking me to waste another 4-5 hrs for just a regular oil change service.This is just unacceptable.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

TWICE I got my Mazda serviced there and they broke something. The first time they didn't bolt on the exhaust pipe correctly and I was breathing in exhaust fumes in the cabin. The second time an oil change cause the car to make a rattling noise. I would not recommend getting your Mazda serviced there or getting their service package when buying a new car!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Good experience with exceptional oil change promotion.Nice place for Mazda service center. They have exceptional promotions going on Oil change with $69. Normally all other mazda dealership will charge you around $129 which is almost double.In addition, they do provide video link to watch high overview summary from technician, which is amazing transparency with customer.Only minor drawback which is no loaner car for regular service.Try to speak with Samuel, really helpful person!

I strongly recommend steering clear of this Mazda service center. They have a tendency to overprice their items, leaving you unsatisfied with your experience. It's best to avoid visiting this establishment altogether.

CUSTOMER BEWARE: I literally have several staff members RECORDED doing the following: 'Taylor' lying about fixing our car AND putting ZIP TIES on it, and saying he CHOSE to put them on instead getting an authorization- even though payment wasn't an issue. Would've declined anyway since we PAID for clips. In his words, "I didn't think it was worth it."You got 'MARIA' defending the shotty work and blaming 'SAM', who was NOWHERE around when all this drama happened. Also, her being overly rude and acting like she doesn't understand what/why we/I would be upset for having to go back and forth... roughly EIGHT times back-to-back, because I was being SCAMMED! Straight rudeness! Let me not forget her saying to take the car to the body shop we just paid Mazda OVER $1700 to fix! NEVER been told such rubbish before. Lol! The audacity.A few more doozies...'Dwayne' was also initially rude by phone, and literally drove off on his motorcycle when he was told we were there for him. He later said he was apologetic and at least had a better attitude. THIS change was after notifying him about reporting ALL of this to the BBB.When 'Brian' gave the car back... he's recorded assuring the bumper was fully fixed THAT time, and oh yeah ... the paint that doesn't match, would somehow match after sitting in the sun for a month. Lol. Ok.Let's see... we also have 'Chris' on record saying because Mazda can't fix the issue, and being updated in the overall issues, they would refund me. BUT ALSO, said go to a body shop because the car was totaled. Little did he know, the car was repaired AFTER the accident.... over 4K. Lol! But we didn't expect him to take accountability. They ALL kept passing the buck.To wrap this up: There's going to be an update to this post. It'll include where the VIDEO of SOME (not all) of this stuff went down. It'll also follow me reporting to the BBB and other Consumer Watch Groups.Got my refund BUT nooooowwww... the bumper is WORSE than when it was originally taken to Mazda. I made an appt for a routine maintenance for my 2015 Mazda and was greeted by Taylor S. It was on a Friday and since I live in Oakland I needed a rental car as requested when I made the appt. When I asked Taylor about it he said "we usually dont do that" but I told him it was noted down when i made the appt he said "I will do it for you this time"I was offended as I've been going there for 5 years now, if the policy has changed due to the pandemic or changed for some reason then let me know and don't expect me to know.Moving forward, I am now renting the car and told the front desk person at the counter that I will bring it back on Tuesday since I will work in Fremont. Taylor called me several times over the weekend and left messages. The first call is their recommendation for additinal services on the car which will cost $600.When I finally got hold of him, the second time, he said that the rental car was only good for one day. I told him my rental agreement was for Tuesday by 6oclock.Again, he said it was only for a day. I told him no one communicated this new policy to me when I rented the car as I could make other arrangements and if this was such an issue the front desk would not have put the due date down for Tuesday plus Taylor could of told me this before I rented the car.Now, my issue is Taylor's lack of customer service and communication skills. Let customers know about your one-day rental car policy.Get it together Taylor S.Show some staff unity....be on the same path because it looks bad when you say something different than what was agreed upon on the rental agreement.I am a working Healthcare worker and don't intend to keep the car unless I need it to drive to different clinic locations. You made it seem as if I was trying to scammed the company.Taylor S. is not good with customers, he is rude, and somewhat arrogant.This is my first negative post for the Service Dept, usually I have positive feedbacks for my services there. Not sure why the service has gone down.Customer service means going above and beyond to keep the customer happy, whether that means answering any questions they have or resolving issues with a positive attitude, which Taylor S. lacks.Customer satisfaction should Taylor S top priority, and hopefully creating loyal, returning customers or having happy customers recommend to their family and friends, Mazda services.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Auto detailing, Wheel alignment, Battery

terrible service, not only did they lie about the price of the next service, so just changing the oil and filters takes more than 2 hours. and after they returned the car, they confirmed that they had scratched it. Don't trust this service

Service quality has been always very good here but last week basic service costed more than double. Usually I had paid approx $80 for basic car service of CX-5 in last 3 years but last week, I paid $172 for same service. When asked for the high cost then they didn t answer.

Taylor Salimpour was exceptional! He made sure that all my vehicle's needs were addressed. He kept me updated on the progress and even made sure my transportation needs in the interim were taken care of. I recommend working with him when going to Fremont Mazda

Please avoid going to this Mazda service center. They will charge you for expensive items and will not give you what they have listed on their fake receipts. Please don't go there.

I bring my car which was bought from another branch here for service repairs and maintenance. Their rates are reasonable and fair. Their reps are friendly, accommodating and helpful.
