Tim is the only kind, honest, and knowledgeable mechanic who didn't tell me to change my 2011 Countryman's engine. The dealer told me to sell my car or change the engine over 5 yrs ago. We brought the car to Tim and he made it come back to life, passing Smog tests without any problem. Both our 2005 Mercedes Benz and Countryman have been taken care of superbly. We are so lucky to find Tim at UndergroundAuto Werks.

Indefatigably knowlegable, efficient and genuinely friendly, Tim is our happy choice for ALL-TIME BEST WRENCH EVER.Moreover, Miss Vicky handles the front office with cheerful grace and takes a lot of the stress out of fixing whatever the hell I just broke.

I found Underground Autowerks by Googling Mercedes shops. I know South Bay Autohaus is an authorized shop, but their prices aren't much better than the dealer! LolTim at Autowerks is great! He is very honest, and very fast! The only thing that is inconvenient is that there is never any parking available at the National City location.

Tim hands down great VW mechanic. Took my 2014 GLI for a DSG service and spark plugs. Better pricing than any other shop or dealership. Finished the job at the estimated time. Definitely recommend Tim for any European car work.

I have been taking my VWs to Tim at Underground Autowerks for years! His passion for cars is evident and his work ethic is spot on! After my factory warrantee expired, I shopped around a bit and found this shop.
