Nice and honest guy that runs this place. My first test was at a reduced price ($44) because I failed due to a check engine light not turning on (turns out it was a burnt out bulb). Went back that afternoon with the bulb replaced and he retested for $18. Just note that this is a cash only operation before you go. There is an ATM in the rodeo market next door if needed.

I took a 2011 Ford Edge there, the owner could not locate a certain sensor so he could not do the smog check (at least he's honest). Otherwise it's a good place to take your vehicle for smog check (I take my other vehicle there for check). Usually no waiting.

I love getting my smog inspection done at Smog Centro located in National City. I have been taking my car there for the past six years. Excellent service. I love giving this business Five Stars.

Fast no bull , had a problems with my car he told me what I needed go get fix and replace did it pass . Other places would tried to get me to go somewhere(they recomend/know) and waste alot of money . Best part afortable and nice.

Classic national city small business. $55 for a smog check, they were fast, they wear masks, and I couldn't be happier. Cash only, but there's a place nearby you'd be referred to for an ATM

I've been here before. Got my smog check done with no problem. Smog tech did his job as he was supposed to. This location is a test only location meaning they cannot do a smog repair or tell you the cause of why it failed. They can however explain to you what gas or gases your car failed for.

Smog Centro is a test - only station . Technician will test your car in its as -is condition. They are not allowed to perform any repairs on your car by regulations . Be honest !!!
