I had a terrible experience with getting my tire changed. I came in about 7:30am. She said that the tire would be (about) $100 and would take 45mins. I took my daughter to get breakfast and purposely came back an hour later to make sure that I gave them enough time. When I got back, she told me that they did not have a tire for me. She was calling around to all of the stores trying to locate a tire. I explained to her that I had to get to work, and my daughter had to get to school. I am thinking to myself I wish she would have called me so that I could had taken my car somewhere else. To make a long story short after I had been there two hours, I started to complain to the guy next to me that this store does not have any tires in all of San Diego for a Ford C-Max. Then she miraculously finds a $200 tire in the store. I feel like she had this tire the whole time and thought that I was a poor black lady that could not afford a $200 tire. She should have offer me this tire 2 hours ago instead of prejudging my social status. Do better!

I arrived early for my appointment and they took my vehicle in right away. I had an oil change, tire rotation and alignment done in a couple of hours. My vehicle handles great now and the cost was about half of the dealer pricing for the same job. Will use them again without hesitation.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I usually bring my car here because it's right down the street from where I live. I've brought my car in for a simple oil change or to change the tires and every time they want to keep the car the entire day or overnight. They ALWAYS claim they are understaffed. It has been three years of the same nonsense. They always push additional repairs and I'm under the impression they intentionally do this to make more money. My car is fine when I take it but when I leave something always goes wrong and I have to take it back and it becomes a major expense.Today was the final straw as I had an appointment for 1PM. For an oil change and tire patch. These services shouldn't take more than an hour at most. My husband went to take the car and they told him there was a wait and the car would have to be kept overnight !! Then when my husband refused, they said they could have it ready by 6 or 7.I do not recommend at all. This place is a SCAM!AVOID THIS PLACE!

Is it a Sunday and gosh all the Tire places are closed? Well, Hallelujah!! FIRESTONE is open on Sundays! After church, after lunch... a flat tire? Yup. Just go there. They will be open. Got the tire, they balanced it, and then we took it back to the car in question.What a relief

Would ve gave 0 STARS, but not an option. Had an appointment set for 12 noon, because the tires I needed had to be transferred. I get that. An hour and 45 minutes later, my vehicle STILL waiting in the parking stall.At the two hour mark (2 PM), my vehicle is in the bay. It stayed in the bay for over an hour before it was raised.At 3 PM, the tires were now off. No new customers entered for service or appointments.At 4 PM, tires STILL off when I talk to the manager, letting her know it s been 4 hours and requested an approximate time of completion. She runs back, 5 minutes later she says 20 minutes.After 45 minutes they call me to say my vehicle is ready. After paying, now walking to my vehicle, I notice the spare tire was in the truck bed. I returned inside and advised them their job was not yet complete, as I requested at the start of this painful ordeal to replace the spare BACK under the truck bed.Now, 5 PM, I m finally leaving.All I wanted was communication. But no NADA, as they would say in this store.Bery painful and will probably seek another auto care store or location.

I called @ 5:10 pm when they close @ 6 pm and he said if I don t get there in 10 minutes he won t be able to help me .. I got there as fast as I could needing a nail taken out of my tire which only needed a patch and he claimed that he can sell me a new tire and wouldn t be able to patch it . Unfortunately did not get his name but will call tomorrow to find out. They didn t have any customers which didn t make sense why he said I had to get there in 10 min to be helped with what only was a patching that I needed.

I just want to start off and say great customer service upfront. kept me updated with my car at all times. I also want to go ahead and thank Alex for working on my car and keeping me informed. As a woman, all I know is putting gas in the car and changing the oil, but he made sure to keep me informed about my car, which made me feel very comfortable that in this establishment, someone like him cares about a person's car. 10/10.

Customer service is AMAZING!! But sadly will not be returning for service at this location. I had an appointment that was not honored at all arrived on time and car was not ready for three hours later!! Which wouldn t be annoying if they kept me in the loop told them I had to be at work and he told me I should have my car back by then but he went well over that time I will just go to pep boys and be in and out

Setting up an appointment is useless!!! It took me more than 2 hours for oil change. When ai did a follow up, the clerk told me it usually takes 2-3hours! Will never ever go to this place again!!!!

1st there is no point in making an appointment at this store. 9am app walked out by 130pm.2nd the manager and a mechanic start arguing with eachother out in the work area then walk through the waiting room into the office slam the door and what you hear is them being loud enough you can hear through the door. I felt so unsafe. Never going back to this location.

Ive waited for more than 6 hours to fix my tire valve stem. They replaced it but didnt install my TPMS. Very bad customer service and experience!

Your store in East National City has the worse customer service.I came in at 10:50 for a 11am appointment. I waited 40 minutes looking at an empty alignment rack. I have a 12:30 appointment with my client so I tell your service writer that I have to go. That was when she tells her tech to pull my car in. What a waste of time. Why book an appointment if you are not going to stand by it. I told the lady that I don't have the privilege to just blow people off like they did me.Unfortunately I wasted my money on the lifetime alignment but I will not be returning to your store for any future service.

I used to work here. The manager Maria doesn't know anything at all about automotive or anything mechanical whatsoever. If the lead technician diagnosis a car, he guesses because he doesn't want to take the time to do it right. I have seen people spend large amounts of money and received erroneous repairs and be back the next day with same issues. Maria is a liar and will try to sell whatever the lead tech recommends based off his guesswork. They do it for self gain and to look good for to the company. Highly unethical and highly unreliable people. Don't trust this place for nothing.

I set up an appointment a week before for a alignment and balance rotation. I have the lifetime alignment and I bought my tires here so I figured with an appointment, I would be guaranteed to get it done same day, which I also specify when I was making my appointment. I came in at the appointment time and I was told by Miguel who is extremely rude by the way. That it may take up to 2 1/2 hours. I came in at 11 am at my appointment time, and I told him ok as long as it can get done before 2:30 pm so I can pick up my son. He then changed and then now said if I can drop off the car instead or reschedule since they only have 2 tech working and the person that WALKED in earlier is still waiting and I'll be next. WTH, there is a reason why I made the appointment and took time off from work. First of all, you don't provide appointments and not fulfill your commitment. Secondly, you don't move goal post when you clearly state 2 1/2 hours and then change it on the fly. And lastly, when I explained this to him, Miguel end up being upset and start telling me it's not their fault 1 of their technician did not come in and that he is try to remain calm. It is not the customer's responsibility you have staffing issues and should not be held up for that. Completely unprofessional and unreasonable. I regret buying my tire and paying for a lifetime alignment from this place. I discourage anyone who is planning to purchase any merchandise or service from this place.Service: Wheel alignment

I have lifetime alignment with Firestone and scheduled appointment for alignment for Tuesday at 4pm. Received phone call at 3:30 pm that their machine was down and for me to bring my vehicle in on Thursday. No problem. I was given a 10:00 a.m appointment and arrived at 10:00. Someone was in line doing a walk in was checking in. Maria finally gets to me and checks me in and tells me that it will be 1 1/2 hour wait. The lady who was a walk in was serviced before me which I had an appointment. The lady who was a walk-in was getting same service - alignment. When do walk-ins get serviced before appointments? Just know that this location will service walk ins before appointments.Service: Wheel alignment

I make an appointment for alignment end take me 2 1/2 hours to do the job and this is my second appointment same thing appen this time I ask the guy after 1 20min what time they are going to work in my truck and I'm tall me if I can weithI can take my car and bringing another time because they are busy thas after 2 hours bad service and customer service

Took my car to get serviced for new tires and they did the complimentary vehicle inspection. Only their technician forgot to put the cap back on! So i have been driving for at least a month like this and it had been raining alot. If I get moisture in my brake lines it will be because of this technicians lack of attention to details last thing I need to worry about is my brakes failing because of negligence. I was lucky that is not the only shop I take my car to and I should have to go double checking their work or I might as well do the work my self. I a retired veteran and so praise is given when deserved and admonishing as well! I hope they read this review ad get their act together!Service: Tires

Good mechanics but dishonest in their prices and work. There has been times that I have just done an oil change or brake fluids change and they recommend new fluid. They charge at least twice compare to other mechanics. I scheduled an appointment online. The app and online booking service CLEARLY state that if for some reason your appointment cannot not be accepted by the store they will CONTACT you to reschedule. Miguel clearly knew I was coming but FAILED to contact me to reschedule and let me come all the way to the store at my scheduled time just to tell me that he knew I scheduled but couldn t accept me at my appointment time and told me I could drop my car off but it would take almost the whole day to complete the inspection absolutely unsatisfactory customer service and I will be filing a complaint through the proper channels! If your policy is to contact the customer you contact the customer, NOT waste the customer s time.

Came in for a simple tire rotation and sensor replacement and ended up having to pay for a new battery! I dropped off the car and was already promised the service could be done the same day. That was a lie. I ended up having to come pick it up the next day and as I was about to leave after signing all the paper work, I notice my car alarm is very low so I ask the clerk why all of a sudden my battery is discharged. He checks the paper work and notices that the battery was fine when they checked it, so he proceeds to re check it after arguing with me that the battery wouldn't affect the sound of the car alarm. Turns out the battery was near dead. I tell him well how is it that the battery drained its self over night, they had to clearly have done something to drain my battery. The supervisor then comes in and checks it her self again and says I can give you 40 dollars off. Clearly that is not my fault that her employees decided to kill my battery and then make me pay for it. After 1 hour of complaining she wouldn't want to reimburse what I would have to pay so I had to spend another hour just so they could get my new battery. Please avoid this place at all cost don't go thru this experience too. Every customer in the shop was complaining about how long they take to get their service done, no matter how small it is.

A little pricey and they take forever. They told us that it would take 2 hours to put on some tires and do an alignment, but there we were, 3 and a half hours later watching fast and the furious (the third movie in a row).
