Everyone here was really helpful. One of my tires needed to be replaced and I was able to make an early appointment and they helped me get a replacement. I didn't feel like I was being upsold just to meet a bottom line when I asked for a comparison between tires. I was in and out in maybe 30 minutes with two new tires and a rotation. Will definitely be back for all my tire needs!

I was a walk-in and had a nail in a tire I wanted repaired. They advertise 30% less wait time. I waited 2 hrs. before they even moved my car into the shop. I was told it would be about 1 1/2 hrs tops. It took 3.I ll find somewhere else to go next time even though the tires were purchased at Discount Tire.

Was a walk in customer. I wanted 2 tires i bought online to be mounted. I picked this location because its 1 block from my work. Guy said 98$ just to change my 2 tires. Usualy tire shops charge 20$ for ea. tire all service included with it balance and installation. I askwed whats the difference. he said. its because we torque the wheel to spec, and dispose of the tire Mf you supposed to

DONT GO HERE!! I came at 5:25 more than 30 minutes before closing looking for an air check since my TPMS light had turned on. After having me wait for more than 10 minutes finally a man with a red shirt and glasses came to ask me what I wanted. Once I asked for an air check he told me no it s closed . I questioned why then proceeded in a condescending tone to say can t you see the machine is turned off . Then I asked if they could check my tires with one of the machines inside but he rolled his eyes and said no yet again. I had asked him this because I had feared I had a flat tire and proceeded to say no we re close as I had already said . I was very surprised to hear this since at different locations that I ve been too, have more than gladly checked tires and REPAIRED them after six o clock which is when ALL discount tires close. I will not be returning to this location.

I came in without an appointment because I got a flat tire and was driving with a spare. This shop was on my way to school so I stopped by to check it out and see what their prices were like. Super affordable. Thankfully they have new and used tires. I went with the used. Fernando helped me out up in the front desk. He s very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, as I m sure all staff there are. David took care of my car and found some other issues he made me aware of. I was glad they were keeping an eye out, as I was sure there might be other problems. I now feel really secure in my car with my new tires. This place is amazing. I will return for all my tire needs. I really liked how they teach you a few important things about tires, I previously only knew they needed air haha. I feel more knowledgeable myself, just by being a customer here. Thanks to everyone at this location for being awesome.

I recently went to discount tire in national city since my closer 2 locations did not have what I needed.I am thoroughly impressed by the excellent service from Ruben. The team collectively functions like clockwork. I occupied a very comfortable/clean waiting room and appreciated the smooth transaction and speedy performance. I don t look forward to a new set of 4 tires but I can look forward to this location making the process as smooth as possible! Would recommend. Thank you very much Ruben & team!

Eric at Discount tire on Plaza Blvd and N ave. In National City gives excellent service. He explains things in a way that we could understand. Hes friendly and funny! Although they are busy alot of the time, their service is second to none!

I ve been a customer of Discount Tire for years. I m doing a nationwide road trip and decided to stop here because I m familiar with the brand and their services. Not only did they give me the best price for the tires I really wanted but they offer the best customer service. Seriously, I was treated with the same 5 star respect I was treated with on the other side of the country. That tells me that Discount Tires KNOWS how to roll out training and plans to keep their service consistent. Even if my tires were more money, I d pay that knowing that my dollar is going into the hands of people that CARE how they treat people (and not just their paying customers). The locations are always clean and the young people working at these establishments are the best. Even during this pandemic, they have carefully spaced out seating for people to feel comfortable in or outside. Kudos to you and your teams nationwide. And even bigger high five to the team at this San Diego location. Y all get my vote!

I don t normally leave 5 star reviews unless a place really deserves it, this place does. They were friendly on the phone, friendly in person and went out of there way to make sure that I was taken care of. I want to commend Francisco directly. He saved me from a lot of headache and trouble and was awesome to work with. If you care about your car and who is taking care of it, I can promise you can trust this discount tire.

I went to Discount Tire on Plaza Blvd while working. Fernando immediately took me in gave me an estimated time of completion. My truck was completed before estimated time. Customer service and shop was on point. Very pleased.

Upfront and honest. The customer service is good. I was shown and explained to clearly and nicely about tread levels. He even helped to add discounts to bring down the cost. I would definitely come to Discount Tires again.

Came in as a walk in right when they opened, due to unfortunately running over a nail/screw this morning. I was helped by David & he was extremely kind & helpful. My car was serviced extremely fast for being a walk in. Thank you so much for your help David!

I hate having unexpected vehicle maintenance costs. Don't u? But it's needful.The good thing is that Discount Tire has a match price guarantee. They also will fix or replace the tire u buy (see installation and life of tire warranty fee).So I called "elsewhere" just to find out if I got brutally massacred on what I paid or if I got an incredible deal on 2 new tires. I was quoted $255 per tire.I paid $196 per tire +$22 installation and life of tire warranty fee (per tire) = $218 per tire.I'm feeling real good. And the sales rep was nice and personal. I value excellent customer service! Such a deal to get 2 in 1 place! (10 stars)Later I'll have to get two more new tires. YikesPhoto of those beauties! (They are Yokohanas. They said they are really good tires.)

Came here one day before I actually bought tires to get a quote on tires I ve been doing research on. I was helped by Francisco who was very patient with me & understanding that I was going to buy tires that fit my needs. As my experience buying tires a few years ago, I was not as knowledgeable to selecting tires, which is why my previous tires didn t last as long as they should ve.Francisco was very helpful in the process & answered all my questions, while also accommodating to my one specific request. He actually recommended me the initial tire I was interested in purchasing. I came back the next day and he got me in & out without an appointment.Got myself a set of Yokohama GTX A/S & absolutely love them! Definitely better than the Kumho tires I was originally running. It was an adjustment but they did just fine going up to LA & back. Glad I spent a little more on tires & came to this location!

Service and staff is very good and helpful. Waited 5 minutes until I got served, and about one hour to complete changing the tires. No appointment is required.

This morning I went to discount tire on Plaza blvd, since this is where I bought. Y toyo tires for my subaru outback 2010, I went there because I noticed on one of my tire a " bump" at the face of the tire...I did bought my warranty for my tires back on January 2022, when I explained the issue and that I just want them to look at the tire at my car ( 2-3 minutes max) he told me to wait until my turn, ( which I understood) but I explained that I didn't have time for that, and I just want them to look at it...then he told me to set an appointment just to look at it at some other time, (all I want them to look at my tire) then he told me that I will have to pay around $30-35 dlls more for a new tire certificate which I think it's absurd.( imagine that I had to replace 3 tires, that would be a little less than $100 dlls.) It was never explained to me the that's how my warranty certificate works!! Shame on discount tire!! Hope this work better eventually . (Just as record, I made line like every body alse and this happened when they call my turn to speak to an assistant at the register.)

Worst tire shop ever over prices! And guy name Fernando as the worst customer service, 45 min of wait and they told me they would refund my deposit, once I got their they were making it a big deal, if you are looking for good tires. FIRESTONE OR COSTCO NEVER COMING HERE EVER AGAIN DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

my experience on this discount tire they don t let you walk away if you don t want to repair you tire regarding the location off the hole if not repairable, you don t have a choice to by the new tire then if you buy the tire you have to pay the labor.

I went in for a re-balance on my tires, but was very disappointed. I understand that places like this can get busy, but the lack of communication was just frustrating. They didn't bother to give me a call when my vehicle was ready, leaving me clueless and wondering what was taking so long. Instead, I had to rely on that link they sent to my phone to check for updates. It's like they couldn't be bothered to show any consideration for their customers' time.To add to the disappointment, the person assisting me seemed to have no idea what was done to my car. I asked for some details, but they just gave me a blank look and couldn't provide any helpful information. It felt like they were just going through the motions without any real care or competence.And the worst part? The very next day, I noticed that one of my hubcaps was missing! I mean, seriously? They couldn't even ensure that all the hubcaps were properly installed? It's the little things like this that make a big difference in the overall experience.Honestly, after this whole ordeal, I don't think I'll be returning to this place anytime soon. The service was a complete letdown, and I expected much better. I'll be taking my business elsewhere where they actually value their customers and take pride in their work.

I had a flat tire and the tow guy recommended Discount Tire, they would patch it for free. Good recommendation. I called and spoke with Ruben and made an appointment, excellent customer service from the start. Daniel helped me when I got in, and gave me some quotes on recommendations with no pressure at all. Kevin brought the car out and explained what was done. I did have to wait an hour from the time I arrived, but the lobby is comfortable so it was fine. I left very pleased with all the guys customer service and just how polite they all were. The went above & beyond.

Positive experience. Staff is extremely attentive. I didn't catch his name, but a taller and more built gentleman helped me with my car. I needed to swap my tires over to new wheels. He gave my car a quick inspection and took my keys. Whole process took less than 45 minutes, with an appointment of course. Costco normally takes 2 hours to get my car back to me.98 Civic EJ

I bought my tires at discount tire s and have them installed. They re fast but safety always comes first specially tires. I always check my tires. Check my pressure gauge making sure it s properly inflated and bolts are secured. Discount tire technician that installed my tires did not do his job. My bolts on 4 tires were loose not secured and tires on front air were 47 psi on right and on left was 28 psi. The same at the rear tires. This is unacceptable. I hope they don t do this to all their customers.

I went to get 2 tires that I ordered via discount tire. I had an appointment at 5 pm and I received a text at 5:51 that my car was ready. I left immediately which luckily I was close by because discount closes at 6 which the guy who was servicing me failed to mention. Then as I m almost there I received a call in which they told me I have 5 mins or they are gone and I have to get my car the next day. I also was told when thereafter I dropped off my car that I needed to replace all lug nuts because my lug nuts were all locked up. I don t believe all my lug nuts were in the condition they claimed but I was left little choice but to get the up charge. When I got there I paid the up charge and I asked for the tire and my lug nuts. I was told by the manager that they couldn t give me my tire. To come back tomorrow. When I pressed my lug nuts they claimed to have tossed them in the trash. I was told too bad and too late. Although, they could have gotten them out the trash. As I m leaving on business trip early in the am. Returning for the tire is a complete in convenience. Worst customer service I ve ever had. Everyone was nice but the attention to detail and the excuses why they couldn t return my property is very displeasing and why I m rating them at a one star.
