It's a blessing to have such a great Subaru shop close to home. Danny and Roger did my coil-overs, end links and a few other goodies for me. Had some noise issues and Danny was super helpful and resourceful in getting everything resolved. Down to earth people who actually care about their work, which is far and few these days. Its no mystery why people from all over So Cal make the drive to bring their Subi here.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection

Picked up a Bugeye that needed some serious love, took it to Danny at Metro and had a litany of maintenance and repair work done. They chased down some oil leaks and gave the car some much needed maintenance love! It has only been a few days but the car hasn't leaked a drop. Fair prices, quality work. Would highly recommend!

Seriously, if you need your Subaru, or anything else tuned, call Metro Performance of Socal. This is a Great shop with honest and friendly customer service. Dyno guy is top notch and really knowledgeable. They can do everything from a normal street build and tune, off-road, rally to a 9sec drag car.

My STI has been all over the country to many reputable shops. I really really liked Metro. Customer service = very awesome. Able to troubleshoot = fixed something in 2 hours that a Subaru dealership couldn t figure out in 8 hours. I can t stand customers who try to Nickle and Dime Performance shops, but when they gave me my bill, I was very cool with it, no questions asked. Would highly recommend for anybody in SoCal.

Danny and his company are one of the best Subaru shops around. Came from being the best in CO, and within a month of being in CA his reputation had already spread.I once came to him with a evap leak, ready to dole out big money for a smoke test, and within 2 minutes of looking under my hood Danny found the source of the leak (broken rubber tubing), got it fixed immediately, and only charged me for the rubber tubing, no service fee, no labor cost. That experience showed me the kind of guy he is and what kind of business he runs, and from that moment on I have highly recommended him to every Subaru owner I meet.Knock on wood, but if I have any problem with my car I know Metro is one of the first places I will go.

For the last 3 years I have been having engine issues constantly. I want to Metro performance to have my engine rebuilt and to check every part on the vehicle. Metro is a very honest a trustworthy shop. They went above and beyond to get my car to where it should be as a subaru, they will work with you to the best of there ability to make sure your a satisfied customer. The dedication and passion they have about there products and builds goes above any other shop I have ever went to. I recommend this shop to anyone and everyone looking to get tuned or even get a very solid block.

Got my oil changed here twice now, excellent for Subaru. After having my car in a generic auto shop multiple times for a vibration issue, only to be told "we can't figure it out." When I went to Suburban and mentioned the issue, they drove it around the block and told me with 99% certainty it was torque converter. They do not service those at their shop (don't have machine to) but got me quote at dealership right away. Everyone here has tons of experience on Subaru vehicles.

These guys are phenomenal. Just picked up my Subaru from getting an E85 tune, and the car pulls so hard and the power delivery is crazy smooth. Kyle called throughout the 24 hours they had my car in their shop just to give me progress updates, and let me know beforehand when I could come pick it up so I wasn't waiting around to figure out if I had to get a ride to work.Above and beyond customer service, and couldn't ask for a nicer group of people to work with. I trust them 100% working on my car (big deal since I've never let anyone else even turn a wrench on anything in my car). All these 5 star reviews are 100% warranted, and you should absolutely go with your gut on this shop!

Let me start off by saying these guys, hands down, are the BEST Subaru experts I have ever experienced. I have always been skeptical to let someone else wrench on my car because I am very particular about how things are installed and set up on it. These guys know exactly what they are doing and will bend over backwards to complete the installation/build exactly as you want it. I went to have a protune completed on the car with the mods I already had and Danny wanted to know when the last timing belt/water pump service was completed. I told him the car just hit 122K and had never been serviced with those parts since I have owned the car with 51K. He recommended getting this done before protuning the car. With his recommendation in mind, I decided it was best to do this before tuning the car and while completing this service, he called to let me know the valve cover gaskets were bad which I knew I had a small oil leak beforehand but could not trace it. He found it and took care of that issue while completing the other service on the car. Point to this story is that Danny and his crew will not try to shaft you like some performance shops. He looks out for not only the safety and overall performance of the car, but keeps his word and will work with you as best as possible to accommodate your schedule with his which in turn gives him a very trust worthy reputation not only in this line of work but as a person too. I have had them do some other work to my STi since this service and have a full build scheduled with them soon. I highly recommend this shop for any type of work or general maintenance you desire for you vehicle, especially if its a Subaru!

Going to MetroPerformance has been the best choice I've ever made for my STI. Danny went out of his way numerous times to explain each and every detail/progress of the car to me. They were always welcoming, very knowledgeable about what they do and don't feed you any bs. The tuner Sean is also very knowledgeable and actually took time to properly tune my car unlike previous experiences with other shops. I can't thank you enough for the time and effort placed into my car by these guys as well as everyone else that works there. I will continue to go here for future upgrades and definitely recommend this place for anyone.

Best shop in SoCal if you need anything done on a Subaru. They fixed another shops problem, got a fresh tube up on the engine and a tune in days. Can't thank them enough for their service, dedication and professionalism enough. Highly highly recommend them

Absolutely the best Subaru shop in Southern California. They are the only team I trust with my STI. Danny and his team are top notch. Danny is always willing to answer questions about your vehicle, provide his recommendations, and explain to you their tuning process. Metro has a 5 star reputation for a reason. They were the best shop in Colorado, and theyre the best in California now. I only have one issue with Metro.... Being the fact that I now live in D.C, and can't drive down the street to hang with Danny and Co.

The most helpful and professional people I have met. They helped me constantly over the phone regarding my plans for my car and other steps for future mods. My car had parts installed and dynoed in less than 24 hours. I couldn t be happier with the service. I highly recommend Metro Performance!!!

All the rumors I heard about this place, are true. They ROCK! I came here for a tune and was blown away. Not only was the tune spectacular, but Sean showed extreme care in my car. He inspected the car thoroughly before the tune. I didnt get that type of experience in FL. His knowledge is top notch too. He is extremely passionate about his craft. They rest of the staff are awesome too. They have a return customer for life.

The team at Metro Performance know how to take care of their customers. I have owned a WRX for over 8 years now and have been to a few of the Subaru shops around and this is the first one that has inspired me to write such a great review.Metro Performance installed a new clutch and flywheel in my WRX. A day after the clutch install clutch slave cylinder had finally had enough and was not able to hold pressure anymore. I brought the car back to Metro for the slave cylinder to be replaced but there were none available in Denver. While the part was on order they mended and cleaned the clutch line and slave cylinder so I could still drive the car while the part was on order. Danny went above and beyond to work around my schedule to get the car in, he took his time to explain the install, what may have been an issue with the previous clutch (installed elsewhere) that did not last as long as it should have,Danny called a week or so after the initial install to to check in and make sure I was happy with the clutch. I will be taking my car back to Metro for future repairs and modifications.

My 2005 WRX wagon has visited Metro Performance twice so far. Danny and the guys (and the girls) are wonderful. They've saved me money and done just the best work you can ever hope to get anywhere from anyone. In a couple of weeks, the wagon is going back in. Danny is building me an engine to replace my tired old one. I can't wait. This place and these people are just the best ever!

These guys are the best had a wonderful first experience with them they give great advice even when they're not suggesting something they can sell you I happen to own a small business so I know a thing or two about customer service and I'm here to tell you these people do too take your car there without any fear they're going to take excellent care of you and your car. Thanks to everybody down there for doing a great job for me if there's ever any way I can help in the future I sure hope you call on me.

This is no longer the metro suburban that has been here for years(which I would give a 6 out of 5). They sold the business and moved to California as of August 2015. The new owner seems fine, but only changed the oil on my car, so I can't give any report on their knowledge or honesty. No real experience with them. giving them 2 stars because they kept the same name and phone number. I dropped the car off before they opened and only when I went to go pick it up did I find out that this was not the same shop. This was very unsettling, like dropping your kid off at daycare and finding out the normal people sold the shop and left it with strangers...

This shop is the best I ve seen and heard of. The customer service is the best I ve experienced (not just within this type of business either). They ve always taken care of me, my car, anybody I ve known to do business with them. The only time I ve heard anyone try to even knock these guys is when they are either to cheap to do things the right way, or not educated enough on the matter and refuse to listen to the recommendations of the shop. I ve moved across the country and still won t let anyone else touch my car besides them. I ve referred countless people there and will continue to do so! Their attention to detail and precision work with engine bays is the best!

I want to start by saying thank you!To Danny Jr and Danny Sr. Terrill, Keith and Shawn!Metro performance by far the best shop ever. I had a goal in my mind and they were realistic with me. Told them what I had, and things I wanted. No question was ever a dumb question and everyone here is very knowledgeable, nice and respectful. Some of these attributes are hard to come by and they have it all. I originally just got a tune come to realize I had ringland. Thought it was the end than Danny let me know the process and that they're willing to work with me. Ordered the Metro performance stage 2 block. Than Danny gave his recommendations and I fell in love. The only down time was waiting on parts. Honestly took a week as well as E85 tune. And I must say OMG!!! Light and day difference. I felt I was annoying calling every 2 to 3 days and that usually would make mechanics mad. But the constantly reminded me I was the customer and it was ok. I can't think of anything negative about this shop besides that they're are busy. Because the produce great, fun and reliable cars. I gave everyone a hug when my car was finished!Thank you so much Metro performance of socal

Bar none the best shop I have done business with, and I am not talking just performance shops I am taking all automotive shops, Danny jr. Helped me reach the goals I had for my 14 wrx and never hesitated to go above and beyond. Him and his father and the whole team at metro are a family that takes care of those who come to them for work! Can t say enough good things about them!

Wrong diagnosis on engines costed us $600 in shipping. Engine was re-tested and successfully installed by an another shop. Car runs and drives like new!

If there were a zero star rating I ll put that on here they changed so much metro per is not the same place as before had problems with them with a lot of things and they didn t want to do anything to help me fix the problems they made me change a lot of parts and stuff and still hasn t fixed the issue be aware fellow Subaru owners it s best to take your money and your car some were else
