Friendly reasonable service . Asked for a resonator delete on my 3.5 ecoboost f150 and Javier made sure to inform myself of all pros and cons of messing with the exhaust . The work was completed in a timely and satisfactory manner. I definitely recommend First Place Auto and Muffler .

I had really good experience with them. My car sounded like it was going to blow up so I called them and they said I can drop off in like 10 minutes. I dropped it off and had it stay over night because I didn't think it was going to make it home. They didn't look annoyed or anything at all and was happy to help. And fixed it next day and I got it back within 24 hours.Their service was very reasonable and everyone was very friendly.I would recommend this business and I would bring my car back here if anything happens again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This auto shop is Fantastic!!!! Nice and friendly staff. Had a new exhaust installed, and Javier installed it perfectly. I will be back for more services.

Contacted Javier from a referral to have our classic GTO s pipes rerouted for new rims and tires.We set a time and date. Brought it in and left it for a couple of hours.They called and said to head back it s almost finished.The car was finished. We had discussed doing the pipes a certain way but Javier wasn t happy with the idea after he started work and completely redesigned it making the change perfect.He did not ask for more payment but he definitely spent much more time. In appreciation I added to the cost for him.Great shop attention to detail and professional. Will come back again.Excellent job.Alan and PhoenixService: Exhaust

From the very start, Javier was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. He replaced a catalytic converter for me, so that I could pass SMOG. He got it done quickly, with no hassle.The next morning, I went to get it smogged and they were being really picky about the after market catalytic converter, even though it was the correct part # for my truck (we checked). When I went back to Javier, he was as confused as I was. But now that the first smog center already "failed" me, I was flagged, so I couldn't go to another smog center, at least for a few days, but I needed my truck now. Javier saw the pinch I was in, and knew that I really needed my truck, so he told me that rather than fight this uphill battle with the smog guy, he would get me taken care of. He went out of his way to find me the part that the smog guy wanted me to have, and he got it the same day and did the swap-out. My truck passed smog that same day.The thing is, in business, there are always little things that come along which aren't ideal, to the business OR the customer. It's just the way it goes. But what makes the difference is, which business is going to give you the time to figure it out, and then go even further to make it right. In my eyes, that is the most important thing a business owner can do: take care of their customer, even if it means that it isn't ideal for the business. Javier did that, and he made a customer out of me. I will definitely come back as well as recommend First Place Auto to anyone who needs a repair.Thanks for getting me back on the road, Javier!

The absolute best service I have had outside of the service I receive at my brother's shop back in Texas! Javier is a master of emissions, Debra keeps you informed and the rest of the crew friendly and knowledgeable. I could not be happier. For the full story, see my review on Yelp.

Had an appointment at 8:30. Walk in at 8:15, one guy I front of me. The service guy/owner sat behind the counter chatting about the same topics over and backwards for 15 minutes. Ignoring me and another customer behind me. I walked out. If that s the service new customer received. I can only imagine service after the sale..Will NOT give you my business. Your a waist of time.

Went there to get my exhaust done on my truck. I called before and asked if they had the muffler I wanted and was told yes they had it in stock, they had the cheap Chinese knock off version. Had them put on something different. However what they put on was not what I was showed. I was showed a polished muffler got a plain brushed looking one and was told it would be a 90 degree dump down and that wasn t even on there. I should have gotten the hint when the mechanic Javier never even looked me in the eyes once. They are very unprofessional and in my mind liars.Service: Exhaust

Great place to have your truck or car worked on. Nice people, family atmosphere. Had front end worked on with new shocks, A frames, hubs and every thing needed to make my truck ride smoothly down the road. They even did exhaust work and it sounds awesome. I definitely will go back for more work if needed. Thanks First Place Auto.

I will always reccomend first place auto to everyone I know.Once again Javier saved the day! Our car was having problems with the heater and transmission and a few other major things. Ofcourse all of this happened right before our big cross country move.We were stuck in sandiego but the quotes and availability were outrageous! Were talking over $1500 and a weeks wait.We called FPA and were reassured, given a good estimate on time and were helped immediately. They got us in last minute, and beat every quote we were given. I felt that they were very honest with us the whole time, and did their best to help us. They took care of us and had us back on the road in no time.Everyone was very kind and great at explaining what we needed done, as well as budgeting and prioritizing our parts.The lobby was super comfy to wait in, and clean. There was tons of food places around the area, and it was close to the freeway. Which made things way easier for us.Thankyou Javier and everyone at first place auto for making time for us and getting us to our new home safe and sound. These guys will definitely take care of you!

The most pleasant mechanic experience I have ever had! They are friendly, honest, they price fairly, and don t push you to do any unnecessary repairs. This is now my go-to mechanic for all of my auto matenance needs.

MIGHT AS WELL CALL IT LAST PLACE AUTOI went here for some simple fixes. Was supposed to take a week tops and i didnt get my car back untill a month and a half later. If you want kids working on your car and for no one to care about your car this is the place to go. I will never take my car here again and i advise you not to either. There are much better shops that actually do the work and dont give you attitude or excuses like this one.

Could not get anyone to call me back! 4 phone calls made requesting a quote without success. If they did not want to fix my car they should have been up front and told me, instead of stringing me along for 4 weeks!

The outmost absolute WORST place you could ever go to! Might as well take your car to 10 year olds, im sure they'll do a better job. Went in with the intentions of having a better car and their work was just so AWFUL it totally destroyed my whole car causing damages in over $1000. PEOPLE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE !
