Just incredible. John and his team are wonderful. Their work is quality, their communication is phenomenal, they are honest and work with integrity, they back their work and we will never go anywhere else. My 2016 Nissan was well taken care of and in need of much TLC when I brought it in. He gave me a specific breakdown of what repairs were needed in a very timely manner in order of most to least urgent and we made a plan for repairs now and at our next oil change and it was a huge relief. He broke things down and gave me the exact amount for each repair and not a lot of places offer that kind of transparency. The car is running great and my husband and I couldn t be more grateful. Thank you, John!

I went in for an Alignment. While doing the inspection John noticed my front wheel bearing were worn badly. Duh ! I was wondered what that Grinding noise was when I braked- LOL. I brought the car back to 1st Choice the next day and they did the repair. No more Grinding...So much Better ! Professional, great communication, kind and friendly staff. 1st Choice is now my 1st Choice for any future repairs.

The staff is excellent and the service on my vehicle was perfect. I had a full synthetic oil change and complete vehicle inspection for less than 70.00. John is very knowledgeable and honest which are the qualities I value when taking care if my car. I brought my 97 f-250 here a few weeks ago to get my rear drum brakes looked at. John was extremely friendly and informative, kept me in the loop the entire time. They had to order some parts as you could imagine with an older truck. There were a few little surprises the previous owner messed up with the drum system that had to be addressed, and rather than upsell me to get more money out of me, John worked with me and through conversation found out I can do some smaller mechanical jobs. We discussed the things I wasn t comfortable with working on and the things I was, and kept the bill at a reasonable level. All this to say, I found my new mechanic shop for life. John is a stand up guy that provides excellent, trustworthy service, and I won t take my vehicles anywhere else. Thanks again!!!

John was extremely informative and straightforward. He checked multiple suppliers for pricing, and was able to turn my vehicle around on time.John was never pushy about extra work, but would explain why certain parts would make sense to also replace or which parts were ok to leave alone.Overall, the my experience was great and I will definitely come back.

Took my 2018 Audi for an oil change, saved about $60 by not going to the dealership. I would highly recommend this shop, the owner (John I'm assuming) seems like a forthright and honest man. I think I found my "go-to" shop for future oil changes and other mechanical needs.

Absolutely the best and most honest mechanic you will find. We needed a new engine for our Mini Cooper and he delivered. Our Mini now runs flawlessly and my wife is now happy. We had a horrible experience with our last mechanic and John has restored my faith in the industry. From start to finish he made good recommendations and found us a new engine at a good price. The dealership qouted us 10k and John did for a fraction of that and did it right. I can't recommend him enough.

Absolutely love bringing my car here!Brought my car in to have the brakes checked and oil changed and some other work done. They gave me a ride home while they did the work and picked me up when it was done. John called me with thier diagnoses, options and prices for each option. They never push any extra expenses and ONLY tell you the facts. They are professionals and deliver awesome customer service! Highly recommend!!!

I ve been a customer since they opened and I have recommended my daughter and others to John and Poon. Quality service, exceptional customer service and devotion to getting it done correctly is what I get every time I m getting my oil changed, brakes replaced or other major repairs. John and Poon are like your cool neighbors- always willing to help you, friendly and not gonna (over)charge you... they are my 1st and last place I use for all my car repairs and needs !!

John is the best, he has a great team under him, great deals for loyal customer's can't ask for much more. They are always getting new equipment that allows them to be the competitor! I wouldn't be surprised if he has a bigger shop soon and a larger staff. Best mechanic's and team a boss can have!

I'm all about supporting our local shops. Auto shops can be tricky and worrisome as you don't know what to expect until you're already in it to the end. The crew here at shop are great and communicate with you at all times. Raised by a father veteran of 34yrs in auto mechanic we are happy to continue to see there are still honest and reliable auto mechanic shops. The one shop I've not had to put my guard up or negotiation skills to work because the quotes suggested are remarkably on point if not better then your dealerships. My wife Anna and I are happy and over satisfied repeated customers with our Honda Odyssey care n' maintenance and I'm not concerned whether it's my wife taking it in or I. Honest and trustworthy. I would highly recommend to all friends and family. Support the few local shops left that truly make a difference and contribute to our town of Murrieta CA. Ask for John, he'll take care of you auto needs...

Recently went in here to get my car looked at. I couldn't figure out why my check engine light was on, and on a recommendation from a friend, decided to try this place. I am so glad I did. They were fast, honest, and not expensive! The check engine light was fixed, and I got the oil changed as well. The whole process was completely painless.I highly recommend this place to everyone who needs work on their car. You will not be disappointed, I promise!

Talk to John once and you know you can trust this guy!I was referred to him by friends at calvary chapel conference center in murrieta and went and had all my brakes repaired and adjusted and replaced the struts and did an oil change. My friend that's a mechanic told me I got all that work done for a lot less than normal. They took me to work and picked me up after. Great place ,highly recommended! Been referring all my friends there since I went because I've always been afraid to trust car mechanics and I could tell this guy John was a straightforward and honest guy.

AC of my wife's 2008 Saturn Aura suddenly wasn't working, there was no wind blowing out of the vents. I searched on yelp in the evening and got prompt response from 1st choice autoworks who were able to schedule me for an inspection next day morning as I had to go out pf town.I took the car and was welcomed by John. He is a really friendly guy. After initial inspection, John told me one other issue of the water pump which was more alarming (the AC problem was just the fan not working due to a broken resister). He took me to the car inspection area and showed me where are all the issues. Clearly explained all the pros and cons. I never saw my car like that from the bottom. Then, John and Poon tried their best to find me a great deal.I scheduled my appointment the very next day and they fixed all the problems and the car is running smooth now. Poon even dropped me off and picked me up after the fix were done. So thankful for that.I really appreciate how John knows all the details of the business, how he goes beyond to help us get the best deal on parts and explains all the problems with great patience.This is my one stop shop for all my businesses with my saturn and the other car. Finally found someone you can trust about your car (with earlier bad experiences from Firestone).Thank you 1st Choice Autoworks!!

Love this place! John is such a sweet, kind, courteous, and professional guy. Brought my 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan to have a clicking noise inspected. He identified the issue, inquired as to whether or not the car was purchased new or used. I wasn't sure of warranty info, he then called DCH and it's covered! Definitely recommend to anyone who needs service to their vehicle!

I came in to replace headlight, they found out that I need to relay. John replaced in timely manner. Did not have to wait long. And a week later I came back to replace my left door check. Good job for the team, I will be back and recommend to anyone that want to have work done, very nice people here!

Being a car guy, this is the only independent car shop I take my cars to get checked out whenever I need help. There's only so much I can do to my car until I get hit with a big replacement/service, that's when I bring it in and have yet to be disappointed. I highly recommend them, not to mention their friendly and helpful service!

Fair, honest and really nice family. Full synthetic 45.99 up to 5 quarts. Can't go wrong! Not out to rip you off . I love that feeling. Stop by and see for yourself.

VERY HELPFUL - took my 1998 GMc Truck to John cause my check engine light came on - he was professional and helpful work with me to get car fix - will take my car there for further work John did not try to sell any unnecessary repairs only discuss what was wrong with my car - good place to get your repaired
