My Honda Element had a torn-up console lid, and after contemplating a DIY job, I decided the wiser approach would be to get professional help. I called these guys looking for help with a vintage 1960's Overman recliner and ottoman. Every furniture upholstery shop around me either turned me down or wouldn't give me an estimate without disassembly, and no guarantee they could actually do the job. I made an appointment to check out the shop and show the chair to Alex and German. They looked it over, were confident that they could do the job and gave me an estimate. I agreed and we set a date to start the project. I dropped off the chair and ottoman, gave a small deposit to cover the material, and a few weeks later they called to say that the job was done and ready to pick up. Automotive shop or not, they knocked this thing out of the park! Really a top-notch job on a difficult vintage piece.Not sure if they want to continue doing odd furniture restoration jobs, but they definitely know their craft and I couldn't be happier!

German and his team did an excellent work on two front seats of my Lexus ES350. His professionalism and willingness to go extra miles to satisfy our needs was greatly appreciated. Alex and Jimmy and team are incredibly skilled and highly competent professionals. Their shop equipment, tools, and materials are top class. The whole outfit is extremely impressive. Just waiting for the lottery check so I can have them re-do my yacht interior. It would be a dream to have a project with them.

I am absolutely thrilled with the upholstery work done on my 2004 Honda Accord leather seat! I wish I had done this three years ago. The price was very fair and the service was outstanding. Don t bother searching for a better place. I asked a friend who worked in the mechanical auto repair business where he would take his car for upholstery services, and he highly recommended Sid s. I am so glad I asked him.

I dropped off interior parts of my BMW to get fresh fabric applied (head liner, speaker shelf, a and c pillars). Parts came out nice.2 months after install, I noticed the speaker shelf was starting to fade - they had a look at the part and replaced it with higher quality material. Good customer service, solid work.

Great work on replacing dash damage caused by installers of new front windshield. It's been over 5 years since they fixed the hole in our dash and we still can't see where it was!Also, just dropped by tonight to get some advice on fixing the carpet in the back of my daughters 71 beetle. It had flopped down and the 3M adhesive I had been using was holding up with the heat. He fixed it for me on the stop. Great service - happy daughter!

Alex was great! Sids replaced the driver seat leather of my husband's Infiniti and matched the color perfectly. They were efficient and got it done the same day. Definitely would recommend their services.

Just an incredibly positive experience.Sids Upholstery was recommended by my regular BMW service shop as my convertible soft top was giving away. Swung by the shop, was greeted with a big smile by Alex who owns the place.He was upfront about the need to replace the soft top (bad news!), but in the same token suggested that he could apply a sealant as a temporary fix (great news!) until I was ready for the big ticket expense.Didn t charge me a penny for the sealant, and I m sure that I ll use Sids Upholstery when I ready for the permanent fix. Thanks Alex and team... it is not often one is so pleasently surprised with outstanding customer service.Footnote: the shop is in Mountain View next to Public Storage where Old Middlefield meets 101 South. They are well known for custom car upholstery.. so do give them a shot!

This place is great. Went in here for a center console lid swap on my 2013 Acura RDX (I had the OEM part ordered after car was broken into and lid broken) after I was turned away at another auto repair shop who estimated 1hr of work and said no way they could fit me in. Sid s took a look and said they could likely do it within an hour. In 20 minutes they were done. Their hourly rate was lower than others and they pro-rated reasonably. In, out, felt good about it. Thanks guys!

Great, friendly and fast service. Took my motorcycle seat to reupholster. It was ready in 2 days even though shop was busy. Great craftsmanship and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

I had Sid's replace my car's piano black plastic trim with a wood version that I got on eBay. They did a great job, very careful with the dismantling and reassembling of the various components that were needed to pull the panels out.
