Ok. Workers stand around and are not helpful, or well trained on products carried. I called the store and they told me that they had 2 of the items I wanted. I told them I was on my way, but when I got there they only had one. I bought it and went to another of their locations and had the store clerk pull the item as I was on my way. I showed the bill with military discount and he rang up the 2nd bill which was higher. I pointed out that the price should be the same as their other store location and he shrugged and rang it up again. Sloppy service and he didn't care. Thanks

Auto parts and accessories chain located in Sunnyvale. Store is well stocked, staff is friendly, and hours are nice. Can be a little difficult to find. Parking is ample. It s located in a quiet place right off of el Camino real.The store offers the following things:Auto partsAuto cleaning productsAuto accessoriesWipersCoversOilAnd many other products.Accepts credit and debit cards. Friendly staff, was able to get in and out within about 5 minutes and they offered me a box to take my stuff with me!

must have poor management. every time i come here recently it takes an hour just to check out. these guys are extremely slow. i can here other employees in the back but probably 8 people in line and i been in line 20 min already if not longer. absolutely ridiculous. A customer came in and asked for s belt like the one he brought in and the guy has been in the back for 10 min now. it does not take that long.

Unhelpful staff show that different stores have different attitude. In buying wiper blades for two cars, the men at the counter who were busy staring at the same computer gave me printed part numbers and pointed me at the aisle where they assigned me. Annoyed when I asked for more help, the man who reluctantly walked to the wiper blades criticized me, "It does not need to be the brand I printed, I told you that any that size will work!".Compare to the previous store (Advance Auto Parts) I bought blades, where their staff handed me the right blades saying, "If you can wait 5 minutes, I can help you put them on".Where would you rather go?

Was asking to charge battery and provided phone number to call. Nobody called even other day. Teenagers were mumbling something about that they put it to maintanance but battery was discharged. Bought battery charger and 2hrs letter battery was like new. Lost two days for nothing...

Very helpful staff, I even saw them helping people attach new windshield wipers in the pouring rain. Bought a new car battery and got my old one tested.

I called to see if they had a particular air filter, and the associate on the phone (Jamie, same name!) was incredibly helpful! Not only was he willing to help determine if my car has a cabin air filter, he took the time to help see where I could get one when we learned they didn t carry that item. Above and beyond service

There's an African-American employee here who is VERY GOOD at what he does and is helpful and courteous . I ordered a part and paid for it and then I sat and waited for it to arrive.******However when I went back in to get the part the African American employee was not by the counter, and some Latino employee ACTED VERY DISTRUSTFUL TOWARDS ME and accused me of NOT having paid for the part yet, when I asked for it.He looked at the computer & said "IT SAYS IT'S NOT PAID FOR." Not only was this NOT TRUE but I�had the receipt to prove I paid it. He demanded I go get it (from my car outside) and show it to him.By the time I returned back inside he shoved it into my hands & DIDN'T APOLOGIZE. ****By the way they at this location they require you to PAY for the part BEFORE they order it . I didn't deserve to be treated this way

Staff in the Mountain View store, across from Nijiya Market, were completely rude and unhelpful. They seemed annoyed I was there. O Reily needs to hire better employees. I m never going back again to ANY O Reily again.

I was looking for a brake hose that always oreilly help me polite to find it out but this time 1:20pm 10 Nov! The guy said i dont have time to look for what your looking! Easy! With out any excuse!

If I could give no stars I would. I was recently in this store and needed some service. When i walked in some of the employees were outside. I walked to the counter and waited and waited. Then i ask the other employee if he s the only person working. He said no, my other colleagues are working on something outside. They were doing nothing literally! Worst experience ever!

They seem to have a very wide selection of things. Unfortunately the tools that I've bought there do not last very long like I was using a brake line bending tool and it bent instead of the brake line bending

Very good service. It was my first time to install a wiper, and there were many things I didn't understand. A male staff named Ivan; he was very enthusiastic to help me install the wiper.

Someone sprayed paints on my car window. I went to this shop to buy a Glass Paint Remover. I asked advices from staffs working here. Evan was very helpful. He asked me to bring my car here. When he saw it is an easy fix for him, he helped me to clean the windows. I was very upset about what people did to my car, but Evan saved my day.

Nick the manager was very helpful with our car battery when we were trying to figure out the warranty. He managed to find records of it from two years ago despite a typo for our phone number. It was clear he was juggling multiple things while helping us and he was great.

I wouldn't say LOVED IT - I'd still give it 5 stars though - I went in during a time when it wasn't busy so I didn't have to stand in line oh, I was able to go straight to the cashier and I was doing returns and I was able to return everything because of the system that they have that logs everything that I buy from them! Something's I had a receipt for, the transmission fluid and oil ranch I didn't but it was in the system so I was able to return everything! Having a system like that is very convenient- even more convenient than those stores who go by the credit card that you used to pay for the items to look it up in the event you don't have a receipt! So yes, five stars to O'Reilly and the cashier was pleasant as well

First off thank you Gustavo!!! I came in the other day thinking I had a dead car battery and the staff helped me choose the best option. It worked perfectly and I came back the next day with my car. Gustavo helped check my battery and alternator. And was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He helped me change my battery. Just incredible service.I definitely recommend everyone come here if they need anything.

I was so impressed with the o'reilly's auto parts store I went to on El Camino in Mountain View.The employee that I dealt with was so helpful and went out of his way to help me. It was such a nice experience with such a nice young man.

Updated Review.... with the Sunnyvale store closing I have actually been forced to use the store. I will say this the service and the friendliness has definitely improved. The last three times I was there the people behind the counter were very helpful and friendly. I spoke to someone on the phone and they were very polite and put the part on hold for me. I've increased the rating from 2 to 4 stars. So far so good. Below is my old review. I left it intact. Things change . So, they deserve the appropriate review. Again,it's just my opinion. Hope your experiences are pleasant.I actually try to use the one Sunnyvale most of the time. This one is close to my house. So, occasionally I have to use the store. But I prefer to use the store in Sunnyvale because they are very friendly there. I do not like the mountain view store at all. You'll see the difference when you go in. When you go into the Sunnyvale store they will ask you, hey, can I help you are looking for anything in particular? They will ask you if you need anything. The mountain view store is the complete opposite...

I was looking for a piece of tube to replace an old janky one that the previous owner taped up. I received wonderful help from Donell and the other lady at the desk. They were patient and persistent in finding the part for me.Then, another gentleman from De Anza Mechanics, Sergio, completely replaced the part for me! He seemed to be a regular at O'Reilly's, and I'm super appreciative that this O'Reilly's has kind and helpful staff who attract equally kind and skilled customers. Thank you!

"Ast. Manager" was not helpfully at all. First I called and talked with him. He told me to come in. I went in to purchase battery in store as he told me to, but then would not honor the " SHINE15" which did not work on line. I ended up paying full price as I really needed it. Not please with the lack of support and service at this location.

I bought a new battery for my 2014 Promaster today. The counter guy was extremely helpful and professional!. Its nice to find quality people who take pride in their work. He offered to take the old battery too for a small fee $20- and luckily had one in stock as I was in desperate need. Thanks.

Bought some cable chains and the cashier told me I could try them on my car to make sure they fit and that I could bring them back if they didn't. When they didn't fit, the next cashier I talked with said that I couldn't return them.

chuck the manager is amazing. Helped me install headlight bulbs for free and recommended I buy 2 even though just one went out. When I saw the hotspot and crystallizing filament on the other working bulb, I realized he saved me time. It was about to go out any day. Great service. They don't train their people like this on a corporate level, they just hired a good one. O'Reilly has a great team here and should figure out how to implement this, I came here specifically because they had great ratings, and they delivered.

Employees were helpful. I came in looking for a headlight, and they helped me find the exact right thing I needed, and were willing to help me install it (although they were unable to so I went to my mechanic). Friendly, quick, and reliable service.
