The last of a dying breed. A rare gem. I challenge you to find another mechanic shop in the Peninsula that is as good as Expert Auto Care. There's not much I have to say that hasn't already been said. But I'll just share some brief things about my experience.First, just about everybody charges a fee for an inspection. It doesn't matter what you're getting inspected, they charge a fee. I called Expert Auto Care inquiring about an inspection, spoke with Christian, told him what I needed done. At the end of the call I asked him how much would it cost? He said nothing.I said nothing? He affirmed. There has to be a catch, right? I took my car in and reiterated what I needed to get inspected. Christian said his mechanics would take a look and he'd get back to me later in the day. He calls me back, said everything checks out. Was extremely thorough, went through all of my concerns and addressed what was fine with the car and why it was fine. Lots of excellent information, but the moment of truth. I walk in to pick up the car and I ask him, how much do I owe you? He said again, nothing. I actually asked if I could pay him anyways and he told me no. What! Again, go find another mechanic that is this honest. I doubt they exist.His rationale? He said that they're not doing any work on the car, so why would I pay for anything? An inspection is just seeing what might be wrong with the car. He said if I liked my experience, I can always come back later to get service or work done on the vehicle. Christian, I'll be back! Long overdue review. Christian and team have been maintaining the family "fleet" for years.Would not go anywhere else. Cars are well maintained to run trouble free and I am never oversold unnecessary services. In the event a car needs repair, the team is there to get us back on the road quickly. Thinking of adding a different car to your fleet? I always get general direction on make and model reliability before I shop and always have the car checked out before I buy.Do you have a reliable mechanic that knows you and knows your cars? I know I do.

This is indeed great service from Expert Auto Care!!! My husband found this place via Yelp. We went there in Mar 2024 the first time. It indeed deserves the high 5 score. The entire experience from booking until service/maintenance completion was great! It's excellent job that the maintenance covers everything which is needed, but not recommends things that's not needed(which usually we have seen in the dealers in the past). We regretted that we should have checked Yelp and found the Expert Auto Care much earlier so that we do not waste time and money in other places in the past few years.

It is so rare to find people who not only do an excellent job but who also embody strong ethics and consistently care for their customers. Christian runs his business exceptionally well, he is always very transparent, hard working and reliable. Plus, he's super friendly, even when things get hectic, and he takes the time to explain his work. I always learn something new and useful about my car. This is the type of small business you feel blessed to have in your community! Thanks for all you're doing!!

Christian (from MPG auto in mountain view) is outstanding! He has been helping all of my family with our cars for > 10 years. He is the only person I would trust because he is hardworking, knowledgeable, reasonably-priced, and, honest. I know that whenever I bring my car to him, the issue will be fixed to the best of his ability and he checks to make sure everything is working properly. He goes above and beyond by telling me where I might be able to save $ vs. which things are imperative to fix. As someone who does not know a ton about cars, he takes the time to explain things to me and never judges me for asking basic questions. He is courteous and very connected to all of his clients and truly cares about getting them.

The shop owner is knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and fast! No upselling. I brought my car in for a battery and oil change and it took less than 15 minutes! And it wasn t ridiculously expensive. 1000 stars.

Christian certainly lives up to the 5-star reviews. He is very personable, helpful, and goes out of his way to assure our needs are met. I appreciate his honest approach with his clients. Our car was completed timely and efficiently. I will definitely return to his shop again for any needed repairs.

I was in a moment of crisis with my son in a nearby hospital and the car I had borrowed was flashing warning lights. Being from the east coast and not knowing anyone in the area I looked online for an auto repair shop who could check over the care for me. Christian at Expert Auto answered my distressed phone call and could not have been more caring and professional about helping me out. I left with confidence in the car s safety. Thank you, again

My family and I have been patrons of Christian's auto shop for nearly 8 years, and I'm happy to report our cars have been doing well! He takes care of our routine maintenance needs as well as challenging problems.For example, three years ago, my sister's 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid started spontaneously throwing errors of disabled hill assist / brake system failure and entering "limp home" mode. Christian traced the issue to a failed component inside the relay control module, which lacked a part number and required calling Honda HQ to figure out / order. Ultimately the cause was tracked to installing a new dashcam that pulled power from the OBD-II for continuous recording, which caused the car-equivalent of a seizure. Since replacing the relay control module and water pump (another downstream electrical fault), the car runs smoothly to this day with no problem recurrences.If you're looking for a trustworthy mechanic that won't blow you off on unusual issues, you've found him. We highly recommend this shop.

Christian seems very knowledgeable about his craft. I'm satisfied with his prognosis on a ghost sound on my vehicle. Ive had several others look at it with no luck I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.

If I could give them six stars I would; they're the only people I've ever completely trusted to work on my Jeep. I put off getting it fixed for years because I don't know a lot about cars and that makes me a prime target for being overcharged or upsold on unnecessary services, but Expert Auto Care completely earned my trust. They're honest folks who don't try to upsell or overcharge for anything, they're extremely knowledgeable, and they genuinely care about their customers. I really can't say enough good things about them. If they ever move out of town, I'm moving with them.

I'm so very grateful I found Christian Warford's Business Expert Auto Care. He was informative, conscientious, hardworking and really good at explaining all details of my car's issues. His pricing is very fair if not generous and I especially appreciated that he provided a diagnostic at no charge in order to provide an accurate estimate. The work was done quickly and expertly. I highly recommend this business . The customer service and communication is superb.

Christian, the owner was very accommodating and started the service on my car while he waited for the mechanic to come back from an errand. It was done before we could finish eating our sandwich. After summarizing what was done and what was needed for the short term; we were on our way back home. Honest, reliable and excellent value here!

I count on Christian and his team. I've been his customer for 2.5 years and I followed him here from MPG Auto. He is honest, conscientious and knowledgeable. He finds the most efficient way to fix issues for you while providing high quality service. He doesn't recommend any unnecessary service. This is the only car repair shop I can trust.

Christian and his team was amazing. Not only was he great at conversation. He was very knowledgeable on all cars/trucks from all different years and generations. Gave me expert advice on my truck maintenance and for sure is my go to mechanic from here on out. Service/assessment was done efficiently and in great time. Christian provided the BEST EXPERIENCE I've had with auto repairs, period. He responded same day to my scheduling email, clarified expectations on duration & process, diagnosed my blinking "Check engine" light, and replaced spark plugs & ignition coils - all in a timely manner, while communicating as needed.The Toyota Dealership I visited the day before charged me $250 to diagnose the issue. However, after 4-hrs they delivered NO DEFINITIVE RESULTS except for telling me about 4 error codes. They asked me to return for ADDITIONAL DIAGNOSTICS worth $750 ($250 leak down test + $500 fuel injector test, before tax) after which, I'd pay for parts + labor. I was livid to say the least, and used that 'energy' to Google Map review all top-rated auto repair shops in the Mountain View area. Christian's name kept reoccurring with the most profound testimonials!His entire cost (labor + parts, before tax) was lower than $750, he did not charge for diagnostics, and the repair was done within the pre-discussed timeframe.He was patient & clear in his explanations, personable yet professional. He went the 'extra mile' to give me insights into optimizing cost savings for my car + tire maintenance. Huge thanks to the Expert Auto team in general and Christian in particular.

I've been taking all my vehicles to Expert Auto Care for years. One of my vehicles is a 2003 Ford Expedition with ~356,000 miles and I've been taking it to Expert Auto Care since it was new.No major repair to the engine or the transmission -still going strong. It all comes down to the regular maintenance and especially the insight that Masoud and his team provide. It's a proactive/consultative approach on any potential problems and when they should be fixed.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

If you want a honest, trusted body shop to take your car to, this is it! Christian has been taking care of my Prius for years now. Every concern or question I have, he s answered. He will tell you exactly what you need done, and if you don t need it, he will let you know. So you re not wasting additional money on other services.
