I had an amazing experience here. I came in because the side of my car bumper was loose. Roberto and the rest of the staff was really nice and very helpful in giving us an estimate. However seeing that my car is very old (2008 Honda) he suggested I get the brackets zip tied to save some money. I waited in the waiting room for mere minutes before my car was ready. They were fast! And free of charge! Roberto genuinely cares about people and he definitely made my day! He did not try to upsell and was very straightforward. I will always come here for my car problems and always recommend their services! Thank you Roberto!

Best body shop on the peninsula. They have repaired my cars a couple times and the work was done on time and to the agreed upon amount. The employees are extremely professional and nice. You do not feel like they are trying to upsell you on anything.

Excellent prompt and affordable service. My car is a 2007 and the first question was: " Do you want this serviceable or perfect". I appreciated the concern about saving money on an older car. They were even able to reuse some parts! This is a worker owned business as well. Highly recommend!

I hit a very tall curb while making a left turn in a narrow parking lot driveway, which left a scrape on the right corner of the front bumper and cracked the moulding under the bumper. Dennis Gilman looked it over and said that it would be a $2000+ repair if the bumper was removed/sanded/painted, moulding replaced and the automatic cruise control unit recalibrated. He suggested it might be possible to reattach/bond the moulding and touch up the bumper instead which his staff did in about 1 hour during a follow up visit. The team did a great job, and Dennis did not even charge me for the repair. Car West has a new customer for life.

Snapped one of the screws for my rear license plate clean off, threaded part still in the car. Took it to the dealer first, they couldn't fix it and referred me here. Car West took a look, was able to drill & remove the remaining piece and replace the screws. Got lucky, apparently, could have been more involved. Car West didn't even charge me for this because it was so quick!

I got better customer service here than I imagined was possible! I showed up without an appointment and Dennis took a look under my car in the parking lot, talking with me about my concerns and observations. He told me that the most thorough repair would involve replacing the frame, but my car was totally safe without any work already I was impressed and grateful. He said to bring it back the next week when they had some more space in their schedule and he d see what he could do by the end of the day. When I brought it back, he did the work on the spot(!) and for a price so low I couldn t believe he was serious at first. He accomplished exactly what I wanted, and if I ever need any more body work done on a car, I m going right back to see him again. This is the kind of service that wins customers for *life*!Update: I went back for an opinion after having my fender bumped in a parking lot, and Dennis looked at it, assured me there was no functional damage, and told me it would be better to put some wax on the the extremely minor cosmetic issues periodically than to replace the whole bumper and then need to recalibrate the backup sensors. Then he got out some wax and showed me for free what could be done with that. The best!

Two week ago, I went to the shop to get my car fixed. I was so impressed by their service. Ray is the person who helped me. He is a very professional person and did a wonderful job. At the end, he did not charge me even thought I was trying hard to pay. He said it was a small thing, he liked to offer a free service. I was so grateful for his help. I highly recommend this shop.

Never had to have my car repaired from a run-in- now know I d never go anywhere else.Robert stayed with me from the beginning to the finished step. I was nervous as to how to work w ins co and he took care of all of that.Car was perfect and clean when I went to pick it up.Robert was great; others in the office were very friendly.Best customer service I ve experienced in any situation!!!

I can t say enough great things about Car West Collision. When I brought my SUV in for repairs, they always kept me up to date on the progress so I wouldn t be left guessing when my car would be finished. They did a fantastic job and my car looks good as new! I highly recommend their services as they go above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied. Thank you Dennis and Ray for everything!

I was rear ended and I had damage to my rear quarter panel, etc. Car West Collision was professional, efficient and provided great customer service from when I first phoned them to when my car was repaired and ready to pick up. The tow-truck driver apologetically explained that his scissor jack had broken a plastic splash shield under our Toyota Prius, leaving it hanging. Our local Toyota dealer wasn t ready to repair this but referred us to Car West.Which was a totally pleasant experience. Very friendly, helpful, reassuring, professional, prompt. And a very reasonable price.Although we hope not to need collision repair for a long time, we know where to go if in future...Service: Body & Trim

I can't say enough good things about Car West, which has done several repairs for me over the past few years. A couple were very minor out-of-pocket repairs like parking lot dings not worth getting insurance involved. One or two were minor comprehensives claims and -- most recently -- we were side swiped with >$12K of damge, paid for by the other party's insurance. In every case, Car West did a, literally, perfect repair. One of the repairs was about 5 years ago and the paint is still perfect. In every case the car was ready when or before it was promised. The staff is both professional and friendly. If you need body work -- this is the place to go.

My wife recent bought a new car and within a week it was door'd in a parking lot. What a shock and disappointment, but Dennis and Ray made it all right. They were able to arrange paintless dent removal immediately and within a day had the dent removed squeezing us in when the paintless dent removal specialist was on site for another job. The cost was nominal! If you love good old fashion great service, outstanding workmanship and fair dealing, these are your guys. You will find none better!Service: Body & Trim

Magnussen's Toyota of Palo Alto referred this location to me to get my taillight fixed. I spoke to Dennis, who gave me a quote and a consultation after taking a look. Following his advice, I ordered the replacement part from Toyota and brought it back to the shop. He had the taillight replaced in under an hour and even fixed the gap between the quarter panel and bumper at no extra cost.Service: Body & Trim
