I just had the VERY best shop experience I have ever had, bar none. Woman-owned, honest, friendly, and fair. Really appreciated the clear communication during the entire process, and the fact that there is an Enterprise car rental shop across the street to keep me moving while my car was serviced. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the exceptional service I received from Bavarium Autoworks. On that fateful Friday afternoon, my car suddenly developed a serious issue, and I had weekend plans that depended on having a working vehicle. I called Bavarium Autoworks, hoping they could help.Not only did they agree to take in my car on such short notice, but they also assured me they would do their best to get it back to me as soon as possible. I dropped off my car around noon, and the staff was incredibly friendly and professional.Bavarium Autoworks went above and beyond by paying for my Uber ride back to work after I dropped off my car. Called Bavarium late on a Friday for my Audi Allroad which was leaking coolant. They were able to take my car and work on it the following Monday. Problem turned out to be an issue w/ a non OEM radiator hose. Also had 35k service done at the same time. They did an overall check and notified me of several issues which needed attention, ie brakes and tires needed replacing, which I knew before taking the car in. Had them replace the brakes and tires. Service was completed and done by mid afternoon on Tuesday an extra day delay to get the tires in. Overall quite pleased with the service and communications and will definitely return for future service. I highly recommend Bavarium if you re looking for auto service.

Where should I start with Steve Dinan? . This is my third BMW auto performance build with the Dinan Company. Two of them were in the early 2000s. My current project is a 2000 BMW E 39M5. All parts were made readily available. Once again, it s the perfect rocket ship if that s what you re looking to build. From new BMWs to old Dinan parts do not void your warranty. If you were looking for the best of the best you have found it. If you are looking to cut corners or prices, well MoveOn :-). Steve Dinan has perfected customer service, and quality.

I had a great first visit to Bavarium Autoworks for some long overdue service on my 1989 BMW 325i (E30). Erin and the team at Bavarium Autoworks run a first-class operation. As others have noted, they provided estimates on the work requests, informed me about additional services I might want to consider via email, and kept me informed during every step of the process. Erin was also very open to some feedback that provided. I have been using Bavarium Autoworks (BA) for a few years and am thoroughly satisfied with the quality of their work, their proactive approach to identifying issues needing attention either immediately or in the near future, exemplary communications about status of the work while the car is in the shop and their honesty and integrity. For example, my car is in the shop as I write this because I noticed a fluid leak. Upon examination, it was determined the leak is from a radiator hose they replaced in 2022 and thus, it will be replaced under warranty without charge. The technician also identified a power steering line leak and recommended replacing the line now.All this to say, I wholeheartedly recommend BA.

I took my Jeep in for some diagnostics and found out the engine was in bad shape. My Jeep now has a new engine and runs better than ever! I m very happy I decided to have my engine replaced here.Great communication and extremely intelligent technicians. This is a much more personal experience than you will get at a dealership. Recently purchased my first BMW and I was in search of a good garage to get my 60k service and luckily one of my friend recommended this place.Stuff is beyond professional and knowledgable. They ve did the most detailed post purchase inspection. Owner Erin is super responsive and honest for thing don t need to change she told me straight and during the service always kept me updated on the process and finished my car on time.They also have nice courtesy cars but you need to give them 2 weeks notice. Also special thanks to Nathan for answering and educating me on all my rookie questions with patience and getting back to me with answers he didn t have at the moment.I personally love working on my on car but of course there are certain things it needs to get done in a proper garage so I will highly recommend this garage for BMWs, but I also saw lots of other nice high end Mercedeses on the lifts.This garage is awesome, just what you would really expect from a good garage.

The best BMW repair shop in the Bay Area. I have been using this shop for all my 2013 bmw maintenance and repairs, and they have always gone above and beyond my expectations. I have found Bavarium Autoworks (formerly Carbahn) to be the finest BMW repair shop in the San Francisco Bay Area since my moving here in April 2013. They provide superb diagnostic capabilities, excellent work, unbelievable customer service, and strong value typically at least 30% off of dealer prices. Owners Erin and Andy Gomes make a very strong team indeed, with Erin serving as the business manager and Andy serving as the shop foreman.Recently at a leading BMW dealer, I was unable to have my X3 drivetrain issue properly diagnosed, despite their having the vehicle for nearly two weeks. A Master Diagnostician and expert technician alike, Andy was able to solve the problem in short order. He determined (with absolute confidence) that the wastegate valve of the turbocharger was sticking, thereby causing a rattle and loss of requisite backpressure. While this issue required a replacement of the turbocharger, this option was much less costly than replacing the vehicle. Given that my X3 is running well, I expect to take it from 150k to 200k miles or more. Bavarium Autoworks will help me get there!

Chris has been excellent working with me and the new replacement exhaust was put in and adjusted to the position of my liking. Also the dinan stage3 tune was updated from stage 2 and shown via bluebooth dinan app. Excellent experience.

When the windshield washer pump on my 128i gave out I went to the dealership to see about a replacement. Since they had missed it on the 'comprehensive' inspection a month before, I felt that charging me another full diagnostic seemed steep, and was referred to Bavarium by a service rep. It was worth the drive out of my area and I was very pleased with the quality of their service. Erin and Nathan were friendly, responsive and informative every step of the way, including attending to a few other maintenence items that were due. Erin was able to access my records from BMW so that she could see all past service on the car, and my car was returned in a timely way and sparkling clean. I highly recommend using this small but highly professional family owned business.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance
