I ve been Kevin s customer for almost 5 years already and should say he knows everything about cars. I have had two cars serviced here and Kevin s team keeps them both in great condition. It s so priceless to have someone you can trust. Highly recommended as these guys work for long term relationships!

I had my Subaru Forester's engine rebuilt here. The work was astonishing. As the work progressed, Kevin sent photo of the state of the engine. The work was meticulous. Kevin is a perfectionist and kept me informed about the time-line. The engine was rebuilt quickly. When it was done, it was clean, quiet, smooth and quick off the mark. It drove as well or better than when I bought it. This shop is in a class of its own.

I trust my Subaru to the team here. I'm done with dealership service departments! Kevin and Vincent take the time to explain their recommendations and do what's best for the car, whereas the dealerships just do the bare minimum required and don't care if their practices reduce the life span of the car. Although they don't have much of an on-site waiting area, Castro is a short walk away for a snack, shopping, or getting some work done.

Now that I am relocating, I do not feel as guilty from my greed of not wanting to share this hidden secret. The work is not cheap, but you will get what you pay for. They will work on most anything from JDM to European. The team members are all car or driver enthusiast people. Need I say more?

Great service from a group of people who really care about your Subaru. Kevin and Vincent have been nothing short of perfectionists when it comes to maintaining and tuning my WRX. They also walked me through almost anything they did to my car so I never felt lost or left out. I haven't taken my car to the dealership or anyone in months since I found out about AHQ.

Honest shop. Very patient. Will tell you with honesty what is wrong and provide recommendation to not just do the bare minimum but what is right. Dedicated shop mechanic apologized for running late but stayed to work on it until its right and took care to make sure the effort would satisfy him working on his own car. Kevin has a wealth of experience. And demands high standard for his shop's work.

You will know you've come to the right place when Kevin welcome you with his professionalism and perfectionism. I just bought a 10-year-old 2006 Impreza a while ago, and it has been taken care in Kevin's good hands since the first week I got the car. I did a lot of research on many Subaru fan forums and other places, and quite a lot Subie enthusiasts recommend Kevin for his great skill and experience. These enthusiasts surely won't let any so-so mechanics to do surgery on their babies, therefore I know Kevin is the right person to go to for revitalize my 2006 Impreza.He really did.Though the car looks pretty new and drives like a normal car for most of the time, it has many issues and problems lies in the shadow. Kevin helped me locate both the easily found problems (broken axle boots, worn brakes, etc.) as well as hidden issues (old ATF causing shift hesitation, underperformed engine). I also decided to ask Kevin to change the Timing belt for this old car. During the entire process, I just left the car at Kevin's with 100% peace in mind, and felt quite confidence that he will fix every problem the best way. Even though it was only the very first time I met with Kevin, but I just felt that I can rest assured Kevin will take good care of everything. Maybe it is because the way Kevin explained the problems to me, since it is very straightforward and frank.I will continue bring my subie back to Kevin for all maintenance. In fact, Kevin makes me confidence to buy a more advanced Subaru for my next car. I am already making plans to buy a 2009 Subaru WRX for my next car, and I am sure that Kevin can help me pick a good one and then make it even better!

I came here to get my 2012 WRX fixed. 'Kevin' is the Go-to guy here. He knows his stuff! Even though he doesn't talk much, he knows what hes talking about. So, if you don't like getting ripped by your 'local/mainstream subaru dealership' come here. Give AutoHQ a call and ask for Kevin. He will give you plenty of advice on issues and offer awesome suggestions which you can take or leave. Its all upto you. You can email him too (if he is OK with it). I had to replace my clutch and Kevin suggested several options and I went with one of them which we both liked. Highly recommend this place to any WRX owners!

High quality work and advise for your car's health. I've taken my WRX STI here a few times and they took very good care of it. Kevin really cares about your car and will give you expert advise and options. I recommend this place to anyone but if you have a Subaru this place is a must especially for WRX owners.

I'm sure they do great work but they kinda wasted my time not understanding what to do with a wheel install, asked explicitly over the phone if they installed airbag along with new steering wheel knowing most shops do NOT and blah blah blah they said bring it down only to tell me they can't do it, just kinda lame.... You can literally answer that question on the phone guys... I'm sure they so great work but I just got turned off by that so I'm jaded

Not impressed by the workmanship I saw. Looked more chaotic than I like. I did not have my car fixed here so take it with a grain of salt.
