George is very knowledgeable and won't overcharge. Everywhere in town was swearing I would have a 3000 dollar fix. I told him this, and after reading his review let him know I would trust if he said it was a 3000 dollar fix. After a day he got back to me and fixed my car for less than 600. He easily could have charged me the 3k and is too honest to do so. I would at the very least consult him for ALL vehicle needs

Got car serviced, few weeks ago, on 2019 Buick Enclave (Evaporative Flow plug) and this Family owned business took care of it quickly. Will definitely come back for more services

I met George and his family at the shop, he's a great guy and a great mechanic! He called me and gave me an estimate and stayed in the budget we agreed on and went above and beyond for us! He has a great attitude and stands by his work!

They put different brand shocks and different size struts on my front end. Charged me for a mountain of work and created a noise in my front end. The top of my strut was missing causing the noise. I brought my vehicle back into this shop three times after this issue and they said they fixed problem. Only for the issue to continue. Finally I used my brain and went another shop that discovered all these issues and fixed them for another $1,200 out of pocket. Won t be going back here.

Dropped a pair of new bearings, hubs, and knuckles off at 8am to have them pressed, had them good to go by 11 for a reasonable price.

Georges is amazing! Best shop I have used in 40 years!! Johnny worked on headlights and covers which were Cloudy. Also had front fender adjusted and installed properly. Was done quickly and professionally. The dealership couldn t figure out what was wrong with my car. They told me I needed a new engine. I found George s Auto and Transmission on google and read the reviews. I had my car towed into the shop. George walked me through what the problem was. He explained everything clearly. I picked up my car yesterday. It runs great!!! I am so thankful for his honesty and experience. He and his son are very nice, courteous, knowledgeable, and they keep their word. The car was ready on time. Thank you for an amazing experience. I will not be going back to the dealership. This is where I ll bring my cars for service!Services: Carburetor cleaning, Engine repair

Great customer service!! Nothing leaves George s shop unless he s satisfied that everything was done to correct the problem! This is what all other car repair shops hope to be but very few achieve! My family has been going to George's for many years. They're very friendly, very knowledgeable about all kinds of cars. A family owned business. They are friendly and try to be helpful. The pricing is reasonable. The quality of work varies depending on the mechanic assigned to the work. The owner appears to know his work. The shop is cluttered and busy. The timeliness of work varies again depending on the assigned mechanic. There are many unrepaired vehicles parked around the facility which witness to timeliness issues. Many former customers stop by and are welcome. Closer supervision and increased speed would bring the business to very good to excellent. Some of the mechanics are good while others do not do quality work. Some poorly done work had to be corrected by other shops. Expensive and very disappointing and reflects poorly on the owner who seems to try and do satisfactory work.

I heard of George's Transmission from one of the owners of the Drift Cave in Morgan Hill. I needed to have a heavy duty, Circle D Stage 4 transmission kit and custom torque converter installed in my 2008 GMC 3500 HD in preparation for supercharging my truck.Virtually no one wants to build high performance transmissions in our region anymore, so I called and talked to George. He asked me to bring the build instructions that came with the kit so his transmission builder could see what all was involved. The transmission is a computer controlled 6L90 that requires the utmost in precision during a build to ensure proper operation and long life. He quickly replied it would be no problem for them.I brought my truck into their shop, the did a great job, it was delivered on time as promised, the price was very reasonable and the truck works great.I will be bringing all my vehicles to George's shop from now on. I highly recommend them for any and all repairs you may need. His follow up and customer service is the best I've experienced. The 5 star ratings he's earned are for real!John CrossGeorge's

From the initial phone call to the shop, Mia(the front desk person) was curtious and pofesinal .The transmission work was explained to me in detail. The followup with diagnostix and cost was follwd within 2 hrs. Work was completed as promised. Very satisfied with their work. I took my 98' Lincoln Navigator in to get and Exhaust Leak fixed. Once George's Crew started working on the truck, they ended up on finding a total of 3 Exhaust Leaks. It was worse than we all thought it was. Johnny had called me up and explained everything that would need to be done to get her up and running again. While talking him on the phone, I let them know that I'd like the tires replaced as well. As the set on her were several years old and I'd feel better if I had them replaced.Everybody that worked on my Vehicle did an AMAZING JOB.A couple of days and a few parts later it was fixed! Their Great people to work with. I'll definitely be going back with any further issues that need to be fixed.

This was the first time taking our BMWX3 to George s for service. We had become very dissatisfied with our previous mechanic. The whole staff at George s was great to deal with. Johnny explained everything, in terms I could understand and gave us options on our repairs. The car was presented to me, running, so I could hear and feel the difference. Thank you!! This is now our garage of choice!

We've used George's for about 15 years now. The work has always been top notch and fair in price. Tunes-ups, scheduled service, alignments, tires and the occasional work on trailers. I don't hesitate to recommend George's.

George has never done me wrong. He's always ready to figure out what's the cause of the sound your car is making. Recently, his son Johnny has been running more of the business and the quality has not gone down one bit. I strongly recommend this shop.

My car broke down on the freeway, busted ball joint, had car towed to George's on a Friday late afternoon, His hospitality was beyond pleasurable. Car was done by the end of the day Monday. We got a flat tire caused by an electric screwdriver bit which got stuck in the tread. George's was able to patch the hole and get us back on the road. They advertise themselves as a transmission shop, but I verified talking with the owner's son that they can do just about any kind of repairs. I give 5 stars for customer service. I have little doubt the guys working there would be able to fix whatever mechanical problem your car is experiencing.

My Grandmother passed away and i inherited her suv and i love how they treat you like family they dont take advantage of you they are really a caring family owed business. I love poppa and Johnny the best place to take your to I love this place they have taken and take really good care of my grandmothers car for me and will tell you and show you everything wrong with your car thank you all so much you have been such a blessing in my life i know it was only God to bless me with you guys...

Bringing my car to George;s is like taking it to family. I've been going to George's for at least 20 years. He treats my cars as if they were his own. He will not let a car go out unless it is completely safe.
