Having moved from the peninsula and my trusted shop of 27 years, I was concerned that "personal, proactive" care for my car would be hard to find. I saw Frank's on Next Door and I have my new mechanic! Very thorough, kind and efficient. They even complimented my old shop for the condition my 2015 Acura is in. What a relief - easy to book an appointment, quick service and nice family owned business.

Frank is a gem! He replaced my radiator yesterday. He fit my car into the already full schedule so I could work today. Excellent service and a great guy! I ll be back.

Had a tough trip a couple weeks ago. On my way to Monterey for work and my vehicle broke down in Morgan Hill. Thank God I found Frank's Auto Service. Three generations have built this amazing business and their pride in their work and their support of their customers shines through. They were fantastic from the start and Frank Sr even offered me a ride back to the hotel so I didn't have to walk in the heat. I would highly recommend them and wish we could magically transport them up to where we live so I could have an auto shop I trust. Thanks guys!

Frank's Auto service is awesome. Frank and his crew do great work and are very honest and trustworthy. It's really hard to find an autoshop that doesn't overcharge or say work needs to be done, that doesn't. I'm so glad that I finally found a place where I feel good about taking our vehicles. I recommend!

I meant Frank Jr over a year ago. I hear the truth I hear customer service I hear character, and I hear integrity every time I'm at Frank's Auto. And the same is true for his dad I met Frank senior only recently a couple months ago when I needed my BMW worked on. They've taken great care of me and I recommend them to anyone anywhere even if you're as far as San Francisco all the way as far as Carmel. I always recommend Frank's Auto and Morgan Hill.

What can I say about Frank and his team? After taking my car to Frank's for oil changes and other routine services for over a year, my Mazda's air conditioning stopped working and for my car it seemed like it was all downhill from there. Despite all the problems my Mazda tried to throw at Frank and his team, they didn't quit on me or my car until it was completely fixed and I was happy. My work schedule didn't make it easy to bring my car in, but Frank worked with me and the customer service was beyond incredible. I couldn't be more impressed with the integrity and professionalism of Frank and his team and would recommend anyone to trust their vehicle with Frank's!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto A/C recharge, Electrical, Vehicle Inspection, Side view mirror repair, Auto A/C replacement, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance, Oil change

This is the only place we take our vehicles. Frank is the most genuine, understanding, and honest mechanic I ve ever met. He is thorough and makes sure you and your vehicles are taken care of. He s done work for us on all of our cars and we refer family and friends to him regularly. Thank you Frank and team! Frank is honest and professional.I was just about to spend $2900 from a big automotive chain on repairs when a friend recommended I get a second opinion from Frank. It turns out I didn't need most of the repairs listed from the other automotive chain and there was no leak in the rear which had supposedly damaged my whole braking system, nor did that diagnosis have anything to do with the shaking in the front end, which turned out to be a steering column issue. I appreciate Frank for his prompt and honest diagnosis. I will be coming to him in the future.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Frank Jr and Frank Sr are both very honest and professional mechanics. My oil service light kept coming on, I needed a quick check as I still have 1000 miles before my service. Frank Jr let me come in , took a look and added oil , free of charge. Gave me solid advice and what to do. Other mechanics could of easily had me stay and have my service now. UPDATE Frank Jr told me to keep him updated. I called Frank with an update and he continued to help, with advice and called me back very promptly. He and his father care about their customers , and want the best even if i have to go through the dealership due to warranty issues. I can t stress how happy I am to find them.

How did I not know of this place!!! I dealt with Frank Sr., this man is the epitome of a great mechanic. I came in because of all the good reviews I d heard. I needed an oil change and possible tune up. My car wasn t driving amazing so I figured It needed a tune up plus the high mileage... He was honest and informative about every step of the way. I got my car back the same day and we ended up only having to get new rotors and an oil change. I love an honest mechanic. You instantly trust that your car is in good hands. They have a client for life and I ll definitely be recommending it to whoever needs something done. They get to know you as a client and you leave like family.

My son and I have had only great experiences taking our cars to Frank's over the years. Frank only has done what is really needed and communicates well what r is wrong and what needs to be fixed and he stands behind the work done. I sleep well at night knowing his shop did the repair work.

Frank's Auto will is now my go to mechanic for all my car needs. I had been calling around to get a quote for rear brake on a '16 Mazda CX-5. I stopped by Frank's, and he got me a quick quote, which was $100 LESS than other shops. It was also ready a couple hours earlier then promised. I have spent so much time calling around and visiting different shops over the years and my search is over. Thank you Frank for your fantastic service and great pricing. This is where I will be taking all my cars for service from oil changes to stuff I hope doesn't go wrong. THANK YOU Frank for the honesty and great work!

First think you should know, Frank is a stand -up guy, honest and only wants to help you and your car.He has been nothing but awesome inspecting and servicing my families and my vehicles.On top of that, i had left something i needed to throw away in my car, and when i called to ask him to please toss it, he took care of it no questions asked!!My family is happy to have found Frank to take care of our cars, and get them ready to sell in my current case.

I wish I there were a better score than Excellent for Frank's. Frank is a diamond in the rough among mechanics. I don't think you will ever find a more honest mechanic who will tell you what's best for you and your car regardless of his bottom-line. He also wants to get to know you. You aren't just a paycheck or even a customer to him, you are a friend. I have only brought my car to Frank's twice, and I have no need to find another mechanic.I brought my car in because my brakes were clicking, and I brought the car in for two separate days. Frank took a look at it and honestly did not know what was going on. He told me so, and gave me a couple recommendations of other mechanics who he trust to take a look at it. He charged me very little for these two days because he did not know what was wrong with my car. I recommend Frank's Austo Service to everyone.

I took my Forester in to have the air conditioner repaired. The repair caused me to need a new radiator. They accepted responsibility for the problem and had the car towed to the yard and fixed at no charge. I appreciate their honesty and attitude of we will make it right . Unusual in this day and age. Frank's Auto Service is a great place if you're looking for good, quick and honest opinions and great service. They don't push extra observations on you and get the job done quickly. If you have a budget,, they'll work with you.. I totally recommend going here.

I've been taking my cars to Frank's for years. Frank and his crew take the time to answer questions and they get the work done fast. Unlike most dealers and other auto repair outfits, they never hassle you to perform unnecessary and over-priced "maintenance". They simply do the job you ask them to do!

Frank and Frankie are very knowledgeable and extremely fair. They don't try to sell you anything you don't truly need and they are very reasonable. I won't take my car to anyone else, as they are the most trustworthy mechanics I've ever met.

Best Mechanic I have ever met. I called, he told me to come right in, i came in and he had me and my car in and out in 30 minutes. Very reasonable pricing, you can tell hes a genuine dude. While i waited they told me to come in back so i wouldnt be cold. Thanks so much for your service. Im coming back for all my car service needs.

Have trusted these guys to give me straight answers with no BS. Have been taking all my cars there for at least 10 years. Staff are very knowledgeable and welcoming like a family friend. In all seriousness, I will NOT take my car anywhere else. Thanks Frank for being there when I need you in a pinch.

Charged $75 for an oil change. Items listed were insanely high. Topped off my windshield wiper fluid, when i didnt ask for it then charged me for it. Oil pan was wet around drain plug and dripped on ground when i got home. Would not recommend. Disability harresment has been reported.

Real nice guy. Prices are reasonable. I would suggest you bring your car, truck, or SUV here. I've been working on cars all my life (I currently have no tools here in california)and these guys are the only ones I trust with my car and truck.Ignore the one star reviews.

Honest service. Had a check engine light looked at for free (maybe because I already knew the code and just wanted some expert advice), and he gave me some expert advice that really felt like a human to human connection. No scamming or self promotion. Just good people.

Not sure what happened owner shook my hand twice said my truck would be ready 2 separate dates came and went nothing done too my truck i even offered too pay cash from the day I brought my truck left my number the 4th time I went to check on my truck never got a call at any time informing me of any kind of delay dropped off my truck on Wednesday the 7th picked up my truck the 16th no work done truck just sat outside in the rain not too mention my truck is 72 c20 and the easiest vehicle too work on at his shop when it was there. I guess a handshake or cash aren't worth what they used too.

He was the most helpful out everyone i called in morgan hill. helped even more after he found out I run a non-profit for homeless veterans in santa cruz. Even Offerd to volunteer. He took care of my car and I was back on the road in no time. Thanks again. I happy I found you.

Been coming here for almost a decade. They are honest and trust worthy mechanics. They always do a great job and provide quick and courteous service. Would 100% recommend.
