Micah provided great, friendly, informed, professional service without pressure.He worked with me to make sure my car received the repairs necessary to keep my 2001 SUV purring and safe, while keeping the costs down.He clearly explained which repairs were needed and which were recommended and why. There was never any pressure, but solid education empowering me to make the best decision for my situation.In the past, C&M has happily honored warranties that I had forgotten about.I have been taking my car here for several years and have always been satisfied with the exceptional service and workmanship.If you are looking for quality, service forward, auto repair, I recommend giving Micah a call.

Probably one of the best Auto shops I ve ever been too. Been driving for 20 + years, like anyone else, finding a trust worthy auto mechanic is always concerning. I am from socal, without bias, I highly recommend anyone in the San Jose Bay Area to make the trip to Morgan hill for your auto service. Extremely trustworthy, reach out to Micah or Michael, also Craig. Great group of gentlemen with an A1 team.

I have been taking my Toyotas to C&M for a number of years. They do a great job. Advise you ahead of time if they find a problem and offer you transportation home and back to their shop which a great perk for me. I would highly recommend them.

C&M auto is outstanding, I am going to start with the vehicle came in for just an oil change but knew about my power steering leak, the techs saw it and recommend that I have it replaced they did an excellent job! customer service is very good they are very responsive, time is important to everyone and they don't waste any, the quality of work is good if you have an older car they will probably used an approved refurbished part but thats ok I already know that some parts are not in production anymore, the price is a little on the higher side but Ill be the first one to admit that peace of mind knowing that your safety and the reliability of the repair is worth to work a couple OT's to pay for it. This business is well ran and what I like the most are the pics of the recommended issues on my vehicle that they found, there was a little error on putting back the vehicle together but they got it taken care of in a timely manner, they are very honest, loyal and caring for their customers and the customers vehicle.

I use to take my auto's (Suburban/Transit/others) to Made in USA/Japan when the original owner ran it. When he sold the business, quality left with him as well. I chewed over reviews and decided to give C&M a try and have been extremely happy with their service, even more so than MIUSJ. They're professional, fair priced and thorough. I could blather on more, but I'll just say all around fantastic work. With that said, I've been meaning to write a review for them for some time but life has been busy and threw some curve balls, in fact so nutty and crazy at one time they let me pick up my ride and said pay what you can now and get the rest to us when your able (unique situation). I was shocked to tongue tide to say the least and settled as quick as I could. Not only excellent service but they've got heart as well. They had me for life at their service but treating me like a real person, I'll go to no other, at this point it would feel like cheating on someone. 5 stars all the way.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Auto brake repair

Last year, I got my lower control arm done it's C&M Automotive, amongst a few other things. When my stepdad asked me about their pricing? Which I had not questioned at that time, I called them and asked them how they did their pricing? They said that they do not do hourly rates but that they have an algorithm. I called two local dealerships and five other mechanic shops inquiring about price quotes for the work that I had done at C&M. C&M was a few hundred more dollars per fix more than the dealership who charges $220+ per hour! Once I found that out, I switched Auto mechanics. It costs way too much to live here before you get price gouged. 3 months ago, my car started making a crazy unsafe creaking noise. The shop I took it to was unable to diagnose the full scope of the problem. Long story short, I had to take my car 4 visits to 3 different shops before someone could ID and fix the problem. The problem was loose bolts on the lower control arm! Not only was this overpriced job done incorrectly, I paid multiple mechanics diagnostic fees that only one of them was able to identify and fix. In some ways I'm happy it was able to be fixed for the cost of a diagnostic fee. In others I am livid because the overpriced job should have been done right the first time. If I wanted shoddy work I'd hire a backyard mechanic.All of that being said I initially chose C&M Automotive because they do shuttle service. I could have paid for highest priced Ubers and a regular hourly rate and still saved at least a few hundred dollars.

It shows in how a customer is treated from the time they walk into C&M Auto to when they pick up their repaired car. Great team, good, reliable service for the price you pay. I was having issues with my breaks and needed to have them checked (and apparently fixed) before my family and I continued our cross country road trip. I received the best care I have experienced with my car! They were so efficient and friendly. There were only a few hours left before closing time on a Friday, but they took such good care of me. I brought my 05 Tundra in due to a lot of steering wheel and floor vibration. The techs were tenacious and wouldn't give up until the problem was diagnosed and fixed. The other day I brought it in as the ABS light came on.as usual with me, the light went out half way to the shop. No problem found. I have found that C&M Auto is a reputable, honest, and diligent in their work. I have to trust that my vehicles are in good hands.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I called around and this shop offered to help me get a wheel problem figured out on my 2012 Honda Insight. I had a flat tire on the highway and a lug bolt sheared off on the right rear wheel when putting on the spare. Made it to the shop as early as possible Monday morn because I knew this shop is not a tire place. They said the work could be done over the phone.Front office again told me in person it was an easy fix and it would be $60 and about a half-hour. Come to find out an hour later they cannot do any work on the vehicle and I ll need to find another shop to get the work done. No charge, but I lost too much time in this process. I m now stressing about getting this car fix done in a timely manner before my next responsibility.My feedback includes, but is not limited to: getting a more experienced front of office personnel that have more knowledge of specific auto issues, who listen and respond realistically and honestly. Instead of trying to please the customer by over-promising plus under-preparing staff by asking too few questions, I suggest a clearer screening person that can help the customer by getting specifics up front.I lost precious hours wasted on waiting for the expert in the shop bay to tell the front desk guy, who had to then tell me that the work that was offered up front isn t available. I ll take my time and my energy elsewhere.Services: Wheel alignment, Vehicle safety inspection

Traveling 101 South a rear axle broke on my Ford F250. C&M Auto Service was the closest auto repair shop to there my truck broke down. Long story short the complete rear differential needed to be replaced. I was given a quote of $2,500.00 which I felt was high but agreed to this price for the repair after they agreed to a $150.00 discount for being an AAA member. Their contract reads Remove and Replace components as required to access and install, and/or perform needed service. Retest and verify repair as required. I understand this to say that any labor associated with removing, replacing and returning the differential to a serviceable condition was included in the original quotation. When they received the replacement differential new break parts were needed which I had no issue with, however they charged me another $478.63 to install the new brake hardware. I was not happy with the additional $478.63 labor charge and made it clear to them, they agreed to give me an additional $50.00 discount for a total discount of $200.00. C&M absolutely over charged me for this repair and likely took advantage of the fact that I was from out of town. They charged me $1,621.62 for a salvaged differential which they likely paid $300.00 to $500.00 for and perhaps $200.00 shipping. I am rating them 2 star, 1 star for properly repairing my truck, a second star for doing everything they could to make me feel good about being over charged and subtracting 3 stars for price gouging.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have been taking my Jaguar XF to C&M Auto Service in recent years. As my car is getting older, it's become more and more of a challenge to figure out the details about what's going on with it. I so much appreciate the technicians' helpfulness as well as my Service Manager Michael Navarro's patience with me as I consider what repairs need to be done now, and what work can be scheduled for a later date.Also, Michael has worked hard to find me the best prices on replacement parts, to keep the price for repairs as affordable as possible. Overpriced and not trustworthy. I took my car in because it was running rough. They charged $1600 and the car was worse when they were done. So bad that it broke down on the way home, a mile from their shop. I towed it back to them. After three days of them giving excuses and "performing diagnostics", I had to have it towed to a new shop. The new mechanic fixed it in less than a day, for $350.Update: the response confirms my 1 star review. I originally drove the car in because it had low power in cold weather. I had to tow it in the second time, after they "fixed it" and returned it to me (I only made it 1.4 miles away from their shop). The second time they looked at it they told me it was because of low oil first, then they said it was because of rats. Now they claim it was injectors. The proper mechanic, who actually fixed the car, had to replace the fuel filter; it had nothing to do with injectors (and he did not find any sign of rats).

Recently went in for a Vehicle Alignment and had nothing of amazing work from these guys. The racked it up and noticed something wrong underneath my car. They told me that one of my exhaust flanges is leaking and gave me a great price to replace it. Now my car drives straight and doesnt sound horrible haha. This is the second time I have brought my car to C&M. Customer experience is amazing, Jose keeps you updated as new information arrives and values your opinion. Not gonna lie don't love the pricing, but let's be candid we all freak out when we get that dreaded car bill.
