What more can I say besides WOW! Rommel the owner is a very understanding and caring person. I was out of state and had to drop my vehicle at his shop after my transmission failed. He and his team diagnosed the issues and with a lot of thought and how far away I was. I decided to transport the vehicle home. Rommel and his team were willing to do just about anything to earn my business! I would recommend his shop to anyone looking for an honest and fair priced shop!

We just had our transmission replaced with the folks at AAMCO. They were super helpful and really friendly. They had our car finished a week before it was quoted to be done (around the holidays). I was just there today after the engine light turned on. They had me come in right away, checked it out and I was on my way! Great customer service, I highly recommend!

I have a newer Ford F150 with 10 speed transmission. I had a humming/vibration sound, no one knew where it was coming from. The dealer felt it was the drive line assembly, they replaced it to no avail. Then I started calling around looking for someone to diagnose/fix the problem. I called and spoke to Romel several times on the phone before taking it to him. I felt more comfortable with what and how he responded to my questions. Upon my unannounced arrival, I walked into the front office where I met Miguel and Romel. I explained the problem, and in that instance, Miguel offered to drop what he was doing and go on a test drive, which we did. They were going to rack the truck, run it at speed and stethoscope listen and determine where the humming/vibration was coming from.The next day I got a call explaining it was the transmission, and had metal filing in the fluid, that s what generated the vibration, and needed to be replaced. They kept the truck on the rack transmission cover off and invited me to come and see the damage to the transmission, which I did.I dropped off the truck off on Friday, and Wednesday I got a call that the job was complete. Picked it up, runs great, great warranty, great knowledgeable mechanics. And most of all would highly recommend them to all. They have all my future business.PS, this is the first ever yelp I ve ever engaged in writing. That s how strongly I feel about their, professionalism, knowledge, experience, expeditious nature, and just great people.

I want to let our community know that Romel, Jose and Miguel took great care of my car and showed me the parts that they removed without hesitation which made me feel very confident in the work the did for me! Above and beyond excellent customer service!!!

Good service with this shop. They fixed my truck diff leaks. Done the works really quickly and patients. I will go there again if my car has any kind of problems. Thanks again!

I hate to leave bad reviews but I'm stuck with these purple for the next 100k mi.. they don't do alignments, so expect to take your vehicle to another shop if they drop your transmission.. plus they break things and expect uou to pay for them and broke my hood latch and no I didn't call them to fix it I just took it to another shop to get it fixed cause I didn't want to deal with them anymore

I received excellent customer service from this location, I had my transmission rebuilt and did an awesome job. Rommel was fantastic and is one of the kindest people! One Star for Customer Service. No Stars for Auto Repair.I have a 2001 VW Golf GTI and it had a radiator leak. They quickly give me an estimate of $1300.00I needed my car, so I accepted the price and agreed to their work.Several days went by and each time I called, they told me that parts were on order and there was a delay in getting them delivered.Finally, my car was ready. I picked it up and it drove just fine. However, the engine had a strong radiator odor. I took it back the next day - they told me that since they changed it over a couple of times, some fluid may have leaked onto the engine. But, it should burn off in a couple of days.A couple of days later, my engine light goes on and I still have the strong smell of radiator fluid. This time I take it to a friends mechanic. He checks it and quickly tells me that I have a leak in the radiator and it needs to be replaced. Since I need my car to get to/from work. I agree to have them replace the radiator.What he tells and shows me is that no one originally touched the radiator. They could tell, because all the bolts & screws were not touched. The radiator had a couple of pins holes that looked months over a month old. They even said that every part that needed repair was never touched - They could tell because again the screws & bolts had grease on them that looked years old.In the end, my radiator is now fixed and my car is running just fine.I am not sure what AAMCO did to my car, but I do know that they charged me a lot of my hard earned money for nothing. Basically, I was swindled. I hope it does not happened to other customers. Please learn from my lesson.Service: Engine repair

My first experience getting service at AAMCO of Morgan Hill was a very pleasant time! The workers there were really friendly and helpful! The service to get my shocks replaced was super quick and done really well. Very trustworthy shop. I ve taken my car here a couple times and they even gave me a discount. Rommel and his team are very helpful and in tuned with the customers needs. Team seems very knowledgeable. They try to get things done asap but still ensure good quality. They saw that I was in a tough spot and took care of me right away with grace. If you need any work done for your vehicle, don t hesitate to go here because they re reliable and good people. They are honest with their pricing as well. I was very pleased with the customer service at AAMCO Morgan Hill. The manger was very transparent about prices, and what I needed now vs what I could delay for a period of time. This is the type of business I can trust. I was kept informed at every step of the process and I genuinely felt they appreciated my business. Well my ex blew up my Beemer and they picked the car up for me until the insurance came to get it, which was nice because at the time I was away out of town, and my looser ex couldn t even pay for a tow truck. So Aamco paid and got the car delivered to the shop for repair. Thx Aamco! Beep beep!

First time using AAMCO in Morgan hill. Never used AAMCO and don t feel like opening greeting should be a question about what i do for work? Opposed to what brings you in today? I was there for breaks and rotors yet not a mechanic but also know that expectations should be set and quotes should be printed and handed to customer. Unfortunately non were done I will not come back nor do I recommend this AAMCO to anyone in my opinion. Took my car down a way and was amazed when told car didn t need brakes rotors and that it was safe to drive.Service: Brakes

I had such a great experience here. I was able to schedule my car for an oil change the next day, I dropped it off and the car was finished one hour later! The service was very friendly, honest and transparent about pricing and scheduling and timing. I will definitely come here for future services- the location is also great as you can walk to the park, Starbucks, the CRC (gym), poke bowl, tj max, etc! So much to do while you wait for your car.Service: Oil change

I made a phone call today because I wasn t certain AAMCO did work other than transmissions in their shop, Steve and we re that call and went on to explain they did all maintenance and major engine and car repairs also. I explained the situation I have had with an oils leak in my wife s car. He explained they could handle it..and explained how they put a dye in the oil and let car run at idle for a while and then check the origin of the leak with a black light which makes the dye glow..allowing them to trace the source of the leak. Explained he would need car a few days to clean area before running dye test. This shop had done replaced my transmission clutch so from prior experience I knew they could be trusted. Highly recommend!

Awesome!! Steve and the crew are always friendly, honest and professional. I have owned alot of cars been to alot of shops. I've been lied to, taken advantage of and literally paid for services that I didn't need in the past. These guys are on point and do a great job. I have a Landrover....enough said, and if I would have taking it to the dealership I would have had to give them my first born!!! AAMCO worked with me in diagnosing the best care for the future of my investment and I am very happy with the results. They are my go to and a trustworthy shop my car found a new doctor and I couldn't be elated to say that I still have money in my account, well just a couple of bucks but you know what I'm getting at. Ladies, you can trust these men to give you their best and that was easy for me to spit out!! Wait what? You know what I mean!! TRUSTWORTHY, HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL THESE GUYS ARE AND WILL BE THE ONLY ONES TOUCHING MY BEAUTY!!

Amazing place. Been looking for a good mechanic for a long time. This place is it. Took my same vehicle to multiple other places to fix an issue. No one could figure it out and they all charged bogus prices. Aamco Morgan Hill went the extra mile to figure the real root issue out. Great knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend this place. I have a small business with a small fleet of trucks and I will be bringing all my vehicles here.Services: Transmission, Electrical repair

I was seeking a 2nd opinion on transmission issue in 2013 Pathfinder ( some hesitation and burning smell)as dealer first said it was due to leaking cooler hoses , then added there was a crack in the housing and I needed new transmission for 6K+ ( yikes!) Since I d only driven it a few miles with these symptoms , it didn t make sense that transmission was totally shot, so I asked them to just replace hoses and refill fluid.Fast forward to call to Romel at AAMCO- very responsive and helpful over the phone and was easy to get appt. I drove it down and he found that it was still leaking because the clamps on the hoses just installed by the dealer weren t done right - no crack found and transmission is fine! They fixed the clamps and also did brakes ( which I new were needed.) No more leaking,, no hesitation, no burning smell , and it drives perfectly. Thank you Romel and AAMCO, you did a great job and saved us thousands of dollars!Services: Transmission, Brakes

I worked directly with Rommel and the team. I trust them, and believe the quality of work and the professional services are top notch. I had extensive work done to my truck before taking it coast to coast on a flawless road trip. The labor prices are slightly hire than average, but the service is exceptional and the corporate warranty is priceless. Why try and save a few dollars at a local mechanic and then find yourself stuck out of state and broken down. The team in Morgan Hill will take the time to show you what needs replacing, things that can wait and help you prioritize based on your own time and budget. I originally said this place fixed my diesel truck, but really they didnt. My truck kept breaking down days after their service. My stupid behind went to them THREE TIMES to fix my truck... and finally, $5000 later i decided to take it to the dealer where they totally fixed it for $300 in six hours. Seriously, this AAMCO in Morgan Hill have some scammers working here. They equated my human-made 2015 GMC Sierra 6.6L that has a diagnostics port and manual to that of an actual human in the hospital... where i now quote the mechanic... "sometimes its hit or miss". Learn from me... If You Have a Diesel Then Take It To The Dealer. Overlook this eggregious shop.

I called and spoke to the owner of the business to ask some questions about getting my transmission rebuilt. He was demeaning and rude with me as I asked general transmission questions. He told me he owned the business (franchise). When I asked for his name he refused to give it to me. I filed a complaint with AAMCO corporate. The way he acted was extremely unprofessional. I ll never do business or recommend AAMCO to anyone. My suggestion is you avoid this place.

pretty cheap guy call him at 952 am and he doesn't know the time so he says come at 1000 am so i ask him you want me to be there in 8 mins then he laughs and say my clock is not working then he says $350 dollars for cvt transmission oil change. Do your research people he is price gauging and don't go there.

Don't go here. Very deceiving. Went for a fluid change only. Guy tells me they want to drive it and check for other problems. After not choosing to get an oil change in transmission and ready to leave,, the guy up front says "that will be $130"(to drive it and hook up code reader). First of all, I was never told there would be a fee before he took my keys. Also not only was I not told or did not agree or sign anything before the vehicle check, it states on their website the Initial Vehicle Check is free. Never going here again.

Check Engine lights are so very intimidating. Got the answer to my car's trouble codes, booked an appointment, did some research to know that it could cost me as much as $750 to get the necessary repairs, and was very pleased that Bob and his team were able to complete the repairs for about $477 for same day service.This is my second time bringing my 2012 Kia Soul into Aamco for repair, and i'm very happy with their service.
