They were able to get the job done and I didn't feel like I was being duped (for being a woman). I had to go back a few days later but they were able to take care of the issue quick. Great guys and great pricing. Will definitely be my first choice if I need them in the future

These guys are awesome!!! They do good work at very fair prices. They have taken care of all 3 of my vehicles in the last couple months. Big problems and little problems. They have taken very good care of me each time. Honest and reliable!!!!

They charged me $87 to put in power steering fluid on my Dodge charger they had to take the wheel off to get to the reservoir but I just found out that jiffy lube would have actually done it for $30 so I feel they didn't have to charge me all that money just to put some fluid

Came in for work on my radiator and oil filter housing. No problems finding parts and was updated every step of the way. Was estimated to take 2 days and was finished up in 1 day which was great. Been coming here for years with all the family vehicles. Never have had any problems. Jr's family is great and professional.

Gabriel at the front counter has HORRENDOUS customer service. Starts gossiping and no one is at the front counter. I will never do business here.

I Just came for a simple last minute oil change and ended up having to replace my whole engine cover , couldnt drive my car because it was dragging , they were just being heavy handed with my car and careless, I just don t understand why I couldn t get my car back in the same condition I brought it in, never again!!! Then the guy tried to say I probably hit something, like sir was this how I gave you my car? If so why u didn t say nothing then and there?? Lesson learned for trying new places.

Awesome customer service, completely took care of my car. Family owned business which makes it even better. Will definitely be going back if I need tires alignment or any other fluid changes.

Had work done on my brakes. The mechanic showed me that my control arms needed replacement. The young lady at front desk gave me an option of buying my own parts, which saved me quite a bit of money. They were up front with labor cost and alignment. I took in parts they replaced, vehicle ran smooth. Prices are very reasonable. I will definitely use J's family Auto as my mechanic." A place you can trust."

My husband took my car in because it s been wanting to over heat so they said it was a fan. They replaced it.But when my husband went to pick up the car the worker popped the hood himself to show the work they had done. Didn t think anything of it. Once my husband got home he asked me if I wanted to see what they had showed him. So we went out and he popped the hood and before he can even open it, I noticed right away a dent on the edge of my hood with some white paint. They left a dent on my car!!! Very Rude and unprofessional. We live 10 minutes walking distance and my husband walked to get it from the shop and came straight home. It s very upsetting I trusted them to do work to my car and in return also getting a dent. I just hope their work is as honest as the dents to my car because we did just pay good money just now. I recommend you check your car before taking it in so you know if they leave anything on your car.

Let me start of by saying I originally started coming here because I had a very pleasant experience with the owner, most mechanics get over on women and he seemed very genuine. After that visit I didn't see him no more and his son JR was in charge and that's when things went downhill and my experience changed and that's when they started to take advantage. I went through JR to get my fuel pump fixed. And 2 month later it went out which was suspicious. I had gotten brand new parts. I had noticed I was losing slot of gas a problem I wasn't not having before. I called JE and told him without him doing a diagnostic he said "Oh its the fuel pump"I had recorded how much gas I was losing. I told him I wanted to speak to his father the owner that's when he switched up and said he would look at the car. I showed him the videos. HE said " Oh you been messing this issue because the mechanic got the wires crossed, if I have the issue again he will fix it". That's when I knew they was the cause of my car breaking down and they was takking advantage. I contacted the bearu of automotive repair and they went back on what they agreed on convening what they previously said about fixing the car if had the same issue they said" We can't fix its because the fuel pump went out" Even though they previously mentioned it was the fault of the mechanic. This cimpact is dishonest you can't trust their word. I would NOT recommend coming here especially women.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Worst experience ever. Took my car for transmission work, Alfonse took my car and said he would work with my insurance to file the claim.. 2 weeks went by without any update. When I asked what happened Alfonse said insurance needed pictures to submit. I called the insurance, they've never received paperwork and they would never request pictures.. After waiting for 3 weeks I went back to pick up my car then realized they were using my car for local part pick ups.. Untrustworthy, unprofessional, and unreliable

Junior and Bobby are awesome as well as the other mechanics. They are the most honest and honorable mechanics I have ever seen in my life. They are quick, honest and very caring about your situation and try their hardest to help you out as much as they possibly can. It took over 30 years but we finally found our family mechanic.

This auto mechanic shop is a rip off. They charged $ 375 for a diagnostic on my Mercedes. I asked them in the beginning do you service Mercedes Yes! YES MOST DEFINITELY! Second question once diagnostic is done will the $375 be applied to the bill if service would be done by J's Family Auto. No! I was told & that $375 is reasonable if I was to take it to Mercedes they would charge me $700. Of course I found this strange that they would not honor the charges of diagnostic to actual repairs once they found the problem. Well unfortunately they couldn't give me the diagnostic. Took my money. Told me to go to the Mercedes dealership for service because they can not fix it or have no idea what's wrong. Don't allow them to take advantage of you.

Good service. Though it takes a long time for a simple repair. Even I could have done the repair in half the time. I kept an eye on the mechanic and thank God I did. He was going to pour the bad gas back into my car. What I really like is that I have a classic car and they are willing to take the steps I want to do the repair the way I want it done.

J's is the I trust to work on my 1966 Impala. Great service at decent prices, they never try n BS you with things you don't need to have done. I recommend J's to anyone who needs work done to their vehicles.

Had my shocks, struts,brakes done here. Had to wait a couple of days because old car. And they had to do additional work. These guys were very professional and my car has been running great. I will have all my car repairs done here from now on.

Great shop . Have taken my jeeps and my Volvo here and have always taken good care of me and my vehicle repairs when other shops failed. Now my go-to when. In need of repairs or maintenance!

Everyone at J s Family Auto Center is friendly and caring! The mechanics all took their time to explain and show me what exactly was wrong with my 2 cars. They are honest and priced reasonably. Highly recommended!

Very good place to bring your cars to very honest and friendly people they keep it 100% with you and not out for your money. I've been coming here for a while now and I'll recommend this place to all my family and friends. Two thumbs up guys keep up the good work.

Went to this place couple years ago and had me rear brakes shoes replaced. I noticed It was taking longer to brake. I recently had to get them done again at a different shop cause I heard a pop then grinding. They told me they were installed incorrectly and only one side was adjusted when the other side wasn t. Never using this shop againService: Brakes

Wow super kool attitude they whent as far as letting me buy my own brakes at auto zone so that my price would me more reasonable. When I was there I seen customers returning with a check ingine lite on and they service it free of charge.. not a local around here but they made me feel as If they where my neighborhood mechanic.

The worst place to take your car, I took it in for something which seemed easy, fast, and simple and ended up messing something else up. I took my car 5 days straight and still didn't fix the problem. I gave up!!! save your money and most importantly your time because if you start with them you'll never finish.

I went in because my driver side window shattered inside the door. They said the motor for the automatic windows went out. They fixed it and now it's acting funny. I press it to go up and sometimes it goes down. Sometimes it stops midway for no reason. AND TO TOP IT OFF MY HORN WHEN I LOCK THE DOORS DONT WORK ANYMORE. I don't know how they messed up my lock door horns! It makes no sense. I'm done going to them. You go in for one thing and another thing seems to be messed up. Same this happened to my mom's car. Went in for one thing and her main horn for the steering wheel stopped working. Like, they don't know what they are doing or something. Waste of time and money

Drove my sisters smart car in to check the leaking radiator. They told me to leave it and they would check it out. They call me two days later saying it needed a new motor and that it did not want to turn on nomore. I was very clear with them that I drove the car in and why are they giving me the car not turning on. They said they didn't know and to top it off they charge me 75 bucks to get my keys back. What can I say actions speak loader than words...Service: Engine repair

I've took two vehicles here already. And they've come back with something else wrong. They don't own up to there mistakes and will try to make it seem like it's your fault. Anyways save yourself a headache and fustration. Do not go here. Not honest and careless about what they do. They should be more professional about how they talk to there female customers. Women are not idiots when it comes to there cars. They should have more respect no matter how difficult a customer may seem. It's there way of transportation and it cost money to have theese things fixed and for it to have something wrong with it a couple days later is completely unacceptable.

I took my car in to get a tire changed and the mechanic broke my sensor then couldn t admit that he did it. Very unprofessional and it s a family shop so you know the mechanics aren t certified. They all family. Save time by going somewhere else. They will mess up your car. Please don't bring your car here, Especially for any major car repair. Customer service is horrible. Brought my car in to have my timimg chain fixed and have had continuous problems ever since. After thousands of dollars and One year later my timing chain is now in need of repair and the owner wont even look at it. Worst experience ever! Will not recommend this nor the one on Sunnymead to anyone.
