My experience with this shop was so good. Initially, I went in because I needed a failed smog test for the DMV. The check engine light was on so I knew it would fail. They asked if I knew why the light was on and I explained my situation to them, which is that my catalytic converter had been stolen about a year ago. I had Pep Boys run a diagnostic about a week prior to my visit and it turns out the catalytic converter was not functioning properly. Pep boys mentioned the welding job wasn t great. Best Valley checked it out for me and actually told me that the catalytic converter installed in my car was not only installed with a poor welding job, but the converter itself was not compatible with my car. Phil gave me so much information on what to do if the original place I had the catalytic converter replaced at wouldn t help me. I reached out to my insurance about it because I wanted this done as cheaply as possible as I don t have a couple grand that I can just drop on this and it wasn t even my fault. My insurance handled it and told me to take my car to the shop of my choosing and I actually chose Best Valley. My decision has a lot to do with the fact that Phil s customer service is so stellar. Everyone who works there is actually really kind, but my interactions were mostly with Phil. It took about a month to get my car fixed but that s nothing to do with Best Valley, but rather because of my insurance. Best Valley was very patient with that process and Phil would reach out weekly just to give me an update on where they were with my insurance and what not. Additionally, they not only fixed my catalytic converter, but the under side of my front bumper was hanging down and dragging on the road so i had to use zip ties and electrical tape to hold up the front bumper so the bottom part won t drag.I just like didn t have the money to deal with it and I was already stressed because of the catalytic converter, I still need new breaks, I need to get my A/C fixed, I need an oil change, so anything cosmetic can wait. When they gave my back my car, Phil said that THEY FASTENED THAT BOTTOM PART BACK UP FOR ME so that the bottom metal pieces under the bumper don t drag on the road. And they didn t make me feel stupid about it either. I didn t feel like they were judging me and the help was so genuine and appreciated. This shop is literally a godsend. They truly care about their customers. This is the only place I will go to from now on for any of my car needs. Hands down the best experience I ve ever had, from the customer service to the work on my car.Services: Smog certification, Emissions testing

They are wonderful! Very friendly and reasonable prices. I had a brake and lamp inspection, and my AC serviced. All done in under two hours. Will definitely return!

2019 Toyota Avalon touring 3.5L V6. 63136 miles.I had a small oil leak, I had for months which Toyota missed and my warrenty happened to expire.Best Valley Smog & Auto is the best They did a big job right and gave me the trust and confidence back to an old school machanic. They Re-sealed my complete engine & timing cover, front brake service and synthitic oil change. At half the price Toyota was going to charge me. Thanks Phil.

Amazing guys. Excellent diagnosis, great work and will always treat you fair. If you've got issues passing smog, getting a car running or just general up keep for your car I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

I have to tell you that Best Valley Smog truly lives up to their name. They were able to diagnosis and repair a problem with my vehicle that started two (2) years and three other smog repair companies were not able to resolve. Best Valley Smog resolved my issue on the first day and for less than what I was expecting to pay. It passed smog the following day after I drove it for a 100 miles to reset my system. I am completely confident that they can help you with any vehicle repairs you might need.Service: Smog certification

Be aware of this place and their malpractice. I sent my wife in for a SMOG test on her vehicle. I had her car serviced by our mechanic prior to sending her in, there were no lights on on her dashboard. Additionally, her vehicle has passed every SMOG check without an issue since we purchased it. Her vehicle passed the emissions testing, however, it failed a "visual test", so they failed her SMOG test and charged her $30. Not only that, but as soon as she left the business her check engine light turned on. I had her put the scanner in and sure enough, codes that were never there suddenly appeared. Upon inspection of her vehicle, our mechaninc noted that these people tore a hose, which in his professional opinion seemed like they just pulled it forcefully. Funny thing that my wife mentioned is that when she left the premises she noticed a sign outside that said "check engine light on, we can fix it". This is a crooked business. Don't send your lady in alone.Services: Smog certification, Emissions testing

This shop is awesome! They re always on top of it and even go out of their way to accommodate me always no matter how busy they may be... We travel from San Bernardino with all our cars to take to Phillip because it s a guarantee it will be taken care of and done right every time! Highly recommend Best Valley Smog... Their mechanics are very knowledgeable in all they do, plus I don t expect the secretary to answer mechanical questions like I ve read on other reviews here... She s very nice and helpful, and seems to do her job just fine when I stopped by last week!

Just wanna shout these guys out, My mom is always taking all her here and even last min they always squeeze her in. Prices R fair and they will definitely work with you. I took my car here a few times as well and will be heading ur way soon! Philip is definitely a great nice guy!!

Phiilip at Best Valley provides prompt, friendly, and no nonsense customer service. He helped get my car in shape to be back on the road and clear my emissions nearly overnight, for less than local competitors! Thank you Best Valley!

This place is the only place we will go to. The rates are posted on the wall and the staff is honest and friendly. They will tell you what is recommended and know what is needed for your smog check to pass. All the staff has been upfront, friendly and professional. I ve seen some of the reviews here and expectations vary but posting that the gal up front sounds like she s 9 and can t answer too many questions is nonsense. She s a professional young lady. I ve seen someone get upset (while I waited for my car) because they had to pay the dmv certificate fee and got rude with her and she kept real calm and professional. She s not the DMV. She s not charging the fee for herself. She like any other professional person wouldn t want to answer too many questions as you can t say what type of repair is needed over the phone and she s not a mechanic.Again they are friendly, upfront and honest and I ve never had to take my car back because a repair was not done properly or because they didn t address something else that needed a repair. Its why we only take our cars there. They re not like the dealerships that will say something is needed when it s not and are not like other repair shops that will fix what you took your car there for without letting you know that there is something else that they noticed needs repair and will let you drive away only to have to return for another repair since they weren t upfront. Honest, upfront and friendly.

The place was super efficient, I had to get a brake and lamp inspection. To my knowledge, they are the only place in Moreno Valley that does this. I spent a long time calling around to find that out. I dropped my jeep off and came back a couple hours later and they had all the paperwork that I needed for the DMV filled out. The girl upfront was nice and very helpful.

We had a bit of a hiccup, however the owner worked with me and completed the job way faster than expected. I was a very upset person coming in, come to find out my warranty was a month over. They contacted their vender and got them to replace the part. I appreciate you working with me.. please, see update of review. I was trying to be the nice guy here, but beware. Not satisfied, out 4tows and a grand then had to do it myself!

Family oriented shop, I have been going here for over 15 years. Very helpful and gets the job done. I have trusted this place for all my vehicle repairs and have recommended people who have also been happy with the service. Need to check this place out for all your vehicle repairs.

Great service. Went there because my car failed smog twice. Needed a smog and repair shop. Philip let me know that vehicle just needed to be shifted into third gear to keep RPM's low and pass; and it did. They didn't perform any unnecessary repairs. Fair prices, too. If I didn't already have a mechanic, I'd highly come back for return business.

I ve been coming here with various vehicles of mine and my close family for over 10 years. They ve always been professional and honest. They ve never tried to upsell me on brands or services. If they (rarely or if ever) make a mistake they always own up to it and help me correct the situation.I ll be continuing to go to them as long as I live in the area.

Went with my brother to do a SMOG, he was told it failed automatically because there was a Check Engine Light so if they knew it was gonna fail why even do it and charge my brother. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR A SMOG.

Needed a couple of rotors turned they were able to complete the job in less than 40 minutes. Pep boys boys said they were bad and upselling the repairs. That's the second time pep boys condemned good rotors on me. I recommend Best Valley

Smog checkI entered facility and was greeted . The office appeared to be busy however very well organized. People were friendly. I was able to get in and out in a very timely manner considering how busy they were. I would recommend this shop to others.

Best Valley Smog was excellent! I was a walk-in the afternoon of Monday 6 May 2013. I was told they would get right on it as soon as they finished the two vehicles in front of me. Lo and behold, I was in and out in less time than it took to read a magazine in the waiting room. Very courteous and professional. Highly recommend them. Looking at the google map I entered the complex off Alessandro Blvd and had to search around the various buildings to find the shop. The shop is actually next to and faces Heacock Street; but, searching was worth the effort!
