I took my vehicle here for a smog The owner of the shop instead of him telling me what was wrong with it before he fully smog it it failed and he knew exactly what the problem was me $95 for the small when it didn t pass he told me it would cost me $150 for diagnostic test I Took it to someone else they told me that the person who smog the vehicle the first time knew exactly what the problem was. It was a thermostat. I went back to this place and I told him you knew what the problem was with my vehicle he admitted he knew so why would you want to charge me $150 for a diagnostic test when you knew the problem he told me exactly that s the business would they smirk on his face And gave me a fake name so when I reported him .If you take your car to this rip off genius, then you are in for surprise because he is a crook and you should not take your vehicle here.

My diesel pickup broke down on the way to Big Bear from San Diego with a car full of kids. My fuel pump assembly went out and was more than I could repair myself on the side of the road. Wally and Eliab at Alessandro Smog were able to get me in on the spot. They drove to the Chevy dealership, picked up the new housing assembly, installed it and had us on the road within two hours! Highly recommend these guys and this shop. Honest, quick and skilled!Thanks guys! Troy

I have been going here for several years and the service is outstanding. The wait time is very minimal. When there has been an issue with any of my vehicles the staff takes the time to explain what the problems is.They are ways pleasant and patient. They are very helpful the owner of the shop helped me fix my ford diesel 6.0 powerstroke pick up truck and they were able to smog it.For my 1999 silverado their equipment was down so unfortunately I had to go to another smog shop. When I went they had failed my truck?! I quickly called the technician at allesandro smog named Eli and he explained to me what the other smog shop was doing wrong. I told the other shop what Eli had done and they did correct their mistake.I will always come back because I know that this shop does quality work that no other shop could provide. It's easy to get your car Into this place to have a smog check. But the owner is a bit heard to talk to. It's a bit costly especially if for some reason you don't pass you have to pay full price twice. Month and half later he still hasn't sent info to DMV. now have to make extra time for the DMV to get tags

My vehicle passed is the good news. I didnt shop around is the bad news> they charge $90 ddollars . I was expecting an honest rate. I could have smogged 2 cars for that price.Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification

I used to go there, had no problem. This time my truck didnt pass because of gas cap, I went to a store near by, i came back in 10 minutes. My truck was still there and i put it on. The technician said I had to pay again. It was $90. I dont have a money maker machine to make money. I disegree with him, I said i am willing to pay $125, but he said $165 with discount. I said i couldnt pay that amount, and he called a police on me.If you feel like your car wont pass, DO NOT GO THERE. Go other places , they will do free for 2nd time.Service: Smog certification

Failed a 71 dollar smog for visual. idle/timing. quoted 125 for repairs, later got a call that an additional 145 for repairs and 71 dollars for re-smog was required with a total roughly 450 dollars for a smog check which included removing the distributer . I was lucky to get out of this store with my vehicle and only a 71 dollar failed smog fee. Little did this company know that I just rebuilt the whole damn engine at home. went home, pulled out my timing light and a screwdriver and adjusted to specification in 7 minutes without removing any parts. 7 minutes saved me nearly 400 dollars in frivolous repairs.Service: Emissions testing

I have to say a big thank you to Alessandro smog test and repair. The technicians were very friendly and kind. They checked me in and smoged my car right away and was such a reasonable price verses everyone I was calling. Gave me my certificate and went to the DMV later that day to get my registration.

Not coming here again, the smog technician before running a smog failed me on a visual inspection and not notifying me. Instead of telling me smog cant be done do to aftermarket intake and save me the time and money he went ahead and smogged my vehicle to have me come back and pay twice. Now everything passed besides the visual inspection and charged me full price. And told me to come back after i get issue fixed and would give me a discount. After paying to get my intake fixed came back and basically charged me full price for a secound smog. This place is a scam don't recommend to anyone.

Took my car in because the engine light was showing. Left it for about a day or two. Came back, paid close to $700 and the light is still on. I called back and all I got as a response was oh, it s because it might need more work done to it. They did mention that it passed a smog test and they changed the oil, but for $700? Hard pass. Never coming back here and 100% don t recommend.

I love this place, their service is great. Shout out to the bearded dude, very humble,g honest, and great attendant. The times I've been there, service has been quick and efficeint. I'd recommend this place 100%.

I took my car in. I told the tech the it had a problem that it might not pass the smog check. He was so busy with another vehicle. He checked my car in 3 minutes, and said that it didn't pass and charged me for a full smog check. The guy is a fraud. Avoid this place.Service: Emissions testingService: Emissions testing

i would highly recommend Alessandro smog and diesel rapair as an honest and pro business i did call walley for an estimate on a head gasket and bullet proof arb studs as well the egr cooler on my 2006 f 250 power stroke he spend over 40 minutes o his time to explain to me what my truck need to run well i picked up my truck two weeks later and my truck in excellent shapethank you Alessandro smog and diesel repairService: Diesels

i called for a quotem the guy told me $50 out the door for my 92 toyota pick up. we get there and he changes it to $60??? i call to complain and he said we need the coupon from their website on google maps, yet here we are on google maps, on their page, and there is no link to any website containing a coupon. the guy on the phone said that when he quoted me the price, that he was "assuming" i had a coupon. wtf is that about??? how can you assume that i have a coupon? how come you didnt ASK if i had a coupon, or say that the price was with a coupon? this "so-called coupon" that doesnt even exist!! what a scam!!! and from what ive been told, they do ILLEGAL SMOGS there, so im sure the proper authorities will want that information!!! ghetto smog place, bad customer service!!! got to sunnymead instead, there are more affordable smog places there.

Expensive and rude. No COVID considerations. With the attitude I received from the employee, I would not get a $1 smog test from this facility. Highly displeasurable experience.

Went here for star inspection had a coupon from penny saver for $40 it said it was good for another month guy there told me that it was a coupon they haven't changed yet to say not valid for star inspection argued my point then asked to talk to a manager he said no I'm not calling her just because a customer wants to talk to her he said he gets a lot of complaints and doesn't want to BUG her for customer problems had to pay $70 to get my keys back.Horrible service don't go here they lie about their prices and are rude
