1st experience with MJR, and got to say, Jack and his crew are top notch. They know their bikes and how to tune up / repair / or customize anything you need. Jack is honest, communicative, and reliable, I will definitely use him in the future (I'm in South Bay, so the only down side, is the distance to his shop, but worth it).

I moved to CA in 2016, after couple dealer letdowns and 2 private shop letdowns, friends turned me onto Mad Jack Racing. Jack got my 2004 525 cranking again (submerged water issues), built a 2017 500, really built up 2022 500 and tuned my 2020 1290. What sets him apart is he is a text or phone call away, if your a customer and he can troubleshoot remote he doesn't say to bring bike in to make a few bucks. The guy started with Thumper so knows KTM/Husky to the bolt so you don't get charged for 'learning' hours. Last, I'm pretty sure he is KTM factory mechanic and follows tours when needed. Summary, try out for regular maintenance and/or for crazy builds, you won't be disappointed!

I have had several bikes in and out of Jack's shop over the past 10 years. I know that I can count on Jack for thorough and professional service... He will always go over the bike thoroughly and report any issues. His work is always professional and impeccable, no shortcuts. I know that anything I ask him to do will be done right. In the past, I might have faulted him a little over turn-around time... during my last call to Jack, he scheduled an appointment about 2 days out, I dropped off my bike in the morning and he had the work completed and bike ready for pick-up by the end of the day! That's great service! Whether it's picking up and dropping off bikes, showing up at races or just listening to and addressing customer feedback, Jack seems to always be looking for ways to improve his service and value to customers.Services: Engine repair, Brake service & repair, Oil change

I just purchased a 2017 701 enduro and wanted a complete checkup as well as the upcoming 6,200 mile service. Being new to the enduro world I needed a trusted local mechanic that I can rely on. Jack came highly recommended, and as luck would have it he was already familiar with it, its service history and reassured me that I have a great bike. He and his crew did quite a thorough check up and at a very reasonable price! I think Jack and his team are highly knowledgeable and professional, but the one thing that impressed me the most is that being busy and in demand as he is, he always took my calls. Dropped my Husqvarna off for service work, all i needed was an Oil Change and Chain replaced. It was dropped in August and they just let it sit and did no work to it. I let it sit there until end of November they didn t touch the bike it just sat there and they never bothered to help at all until i callled asking to pick it up one day.

I ve been to madjack for 4 years almost 5 now. He s done great work. If there was ever a problem with the bike he would always take it in. The quality of his work is awesome. But I ve been waiting on my bike for probably about 5 months almost now. Pro prep level is definitely top notch. As for turn around time right now. It s more like amateur lately. I d recommend him for his awesome work. But not his turn around time on bikes.

I was referred to this company by one of his competitors. I called him and told him I had a 2013 that would not start. After driving 45 minutes out there to drop off the bike .He instantly began to badmouth the competitor who sent me there. As well as others that I respect very much! When he looked at my bike he started nitpicking it apart . I don t care about the plastics. I told him I wasn t concerned about the chain or the sprockets. Just wanted to get it started and running. I suggested after speaking with him for a long period of time that it might ve been the valves needing adjustment . We both agreed that the fuel system needed cleaning as well. During the conversation with this gentleman I chose not to leave it at his shop. He was rude and arrogant. I can t imagine dealing with him if there was an issue regarding his work. Scary!!

Jack is a consummate professional which is a rarity in this sector of the business. Service is a tough component of the sport with many different types of personalities to deal with. Jack cares about what he does for a living and it shows throughout his processes and with his customers. He keeps a clean and orderly shop which is always a sign of someone who cares about his craft. What a great shop! Id crashed, bent my forks, and tore up handle bars. Got a flat too. Called Mad Jack, this guy is Mad! Just fired up Mad!Needed pick up and a 5 day turn around. Jack personally came to the house and loaded bike, that was 9p.m. Everything was perfect.Oh yeah, he delivered the bike in 4 days! Ready to ride! Even gave me a decal.P.s. Mad jacks dog "lulu" is great.Thanks Mad jackAll good, diffently be back for all my dirt bike needs. Bruce

I'm tellin' ya, these guys really do know how to work on the current crop of modern off-road and dual sport motorcycles. Great service, awesome attitudes plus they will even come out to pick up your bike from you just about anywhere in the So Cal area.Jack & his gang go the extra mile attending various off-road races and organized dual sport events. Fair pricing, fast service and NO 'diving for dollars' here.

While Getting ready for a big ride I had some issues with a different parts company getting the product to me on time. I did a little searching on the internet and saw a few people post that they had had positive experiences with mad Jack. Mine has been the same, he went out of his way to make sure that I would have what I needed, it wasn't convenient for him but he did it anyway. These are the kind of guys that make this sport awesome.

Jack's team always provides the best in class motorcycle repairs and diagnostics for both of my bikes. You can pay a lot more elsewhere, but you can't get better service anywhere in SoCal.

Can t speak for their work but mad jack won t be getting any of my business. They claim to do free bike pick ups and deliveries. I was about to leave for vacation and called them up to try and schedule a pickup so my bike could be picked up and then worked on while I was gone. I was told I would be contacted shortly to setup an appointment, that never happened. I went on vacation, came back and tried again. I live in SD which is obviously quite far from moorpark. I work in Long Beach and hauled my bike and a friends bike to Long Beach for them to pick up. I was told on 2 separate occasions that someone would contact me shortly to schedule an appointment. After that never happened either I tried calling and their voicemail was full so I couldn t even leave a message to complain, so here we are. Hopefully customer service improves

Called to ask a question for my Harley...to be checked for a Diagnostic...just my luck they only do street/Dirt bikes ...but they were helpful and lead in me in the right direction....thanks...appreciated

This shop has performed routine service and emergency repairs ( I stripped out oil plug night before a trip) on my Husqvarna FE 501 and they have always been professional and exceeded expectations.Martin
