Most honest mechanic shop I ve ever been to. Dealership wanted over $500 for some maintenance. I came to this shop to simply get a better price and they told me save your money; doesn t need to be done at all. I ve had two instances now where my mother paid less than half what the other mechanic was going to charge and now this time where I didn t need work done at all and they were honest about that. Highly recommend Pete and Andy.

Each of the three times that my husband has taken his vehicles to Andy's Automotive he has received excellent service, technical competency and fair and reasonable pricing. If you are looking for an excellent place for good old fashion automotive service, Andy's is the place to go in Moorpark and Ventura County!!

Oil change and tire rotation executed in a timely and affordable manner on November 8, 23. However, when leaving the facility and driving south on Spring Rd., I turned right on Peach Hill Rd. because my 2018 Kia Soul was difficult to steer and producing loud, strange noises. I called Andy s Automotive and told Teri that I was returning to the facility. Just a few feet after I made my u-turn, my left front wheel became completely disengaged and rolled across the street. Simply stated, the lug nuts were not tightened. There was body damage as well since there was one front tire missing and therefore, no support on the front left side.. I am thankful that I did not turn left or right unto L. A. Avenue. Locals know this is where 18 wheelers abound in both directions. This neglectful and reckless workmanship could have resulted in a much more dire situation. Potential customers should be aware that this very same incident occurred 2 years.

Anyone who has ever been to Andy's knows...its THE place to go. Pete is awesome. They are fair and show integrity in their work. They work hard and quickly. This is the spot to go for car problems, 100%

The BEST, most honest and trustworthy automotive shop that I know of in the Conejo Valley. Andy and son Pete have been the ones I ve consistently relied on to keep our cars running well for over 30 years. My cars, my 4 kids, their friends, my parents, our neighbors, and so on.I appreciate the honesty, YES- it s worth replacing/NO- don t spend money on that! Plus I trust the other shops they refer me to for specific work they may not do. It s a community, they know who to trust, who does good work.Thank You for being so amazing.It s a catch-22 singing their praises, because it s sometimes hard to get an appointment. The good ones are busy.

I had a problem with my car a few years back took it to Andy s on a late Friday night As I am a Uber driver he Got on it right away and fixed my car had it running within two hours so Andy The owner did me a solid. Then a year or two later my transmission went out and it took him a little longer than expected however he did a great job on my transmission my car is been running great ever since. I think Andy s repair shop is a good honest Place to get all your auto repairs done they re very nice, Polite and professional. I give them all my service and will continue in the future

Best auto mechanic in Ventura county,And certainly the best in Moorpark. Fair reasonable prices with outstanding service, gives you fair estimate up front and finishes the work when he says he's going to! Andy and his son Pete are outstanding! Not too many auto shops like this around anymore I trust him with all my vehicles.

Andy and Pete are a refreshing reminder of an age when families built businesses based on trust and friendly service. I cannot say enough good things about these guys. They have earned my respect and appreciation. I would trust them with any car repair and I would showcase them as a model of courtesy, kindness, integrity and amazing customer service. Bring them your business, you will not be disappointed.

So helpful! In conjunction with the Sheriff's Dept. Andy's provided a fast and free security engraving for my catalytic converter to thwart thieves. Spoke with some very happy regular customers while I waited. Nice to have such a well regarded shop right in the neighborhood.

Andy has been our family mechanic for as long as I can remember. He is extremely honest and does amazing work at a very fair price. I will never take my car elsewhere. I always recommend him when anyone I know asks for a mechanic recommendation, and everyone I've sent to him has been incredibly pleased as well.

I Came to add oil to my van, he just stop the work that he was doing and add oil to my van. At the end I wanted to pay, But he told me it will be free of charge.What an amazing company an amazing people, I will highly recommend them!

Been going to Pete and Andy's for about 10 years now. They have always been fast and reliable. They arnt the cheapest but they get the job done super fast. Brought my car in with no call to let them know I was coming with a broken transaxle at 8am they had the car out by noon. No other mechanic pulls off that kind of timing. You definitely get more than what you pay for with there service. Great guys to go to.

Andy's Automotive has always been so accommodating and working with my schedule when I needed service. I am happy to recommend this auto repair center. Their work is always done in a timely manner and Andys and the technicians are courteous and efficient.

What can I say. Andy is awesome! Honesty and integrity goes a long way these days and Andy is this kind of guy. My car died on me while driving, had it towed to Andy's automotive. Got a call an hour later telling me the car started right up on first crank. Now, he probably didn't do much to "fix" the car, but what he didn't do is tell me that he "fixed" the car and charge me for nothing. This has happened to me before so it's extremely refreshing to find someone honest in this field.I will work with Andy again in the future trying to diagnose the problem my car is having. Unfortunately, when the car starts right up there isn't much he can do to diagnose the problem.Thank again Andy! You rock!

I'd recommend this place to everyone I know. I almost got scammed by another place and these guys told me I've still got some wear and tear left on my brake pads before it needs replacing and didn't charge me a cent. I've taken my older car here before and always had good, honest service. I'm moving but will still come to this place because it's hard to find trustworthy mechanics. Check this place out for yourself.

took a chance on this place after reading some good reviews here; they let me bring my car in on the spot, they've changed my oil and have been professional and fast, reasonably priced too. i also recommended them to my boyfriend who was pleased with his brake service on his SUV.i recommend this business.

I m Andy s daughter and Pete s sister. Even more reason to review. Thank you Moorpark for supporting my dad and brother all these years. They love their customers and are passionate to serve you. My dad has replaced an engine in my Yukon with 211,000 miles and now my family vehicle runs like its brand new. Endless maintence needs for our Silverado, Civic or Accord. (Yes we have a few cars.) I know he isn t open on weekends because these boys LOVE to fish but be patient with their busy schedule and you will be so glad that you took your car to Andy s!
