Serge and his team run a good shop.Their prices are fair and they managed to find and fix 4 major issues with our neglected family car in a single day.My only criticism is that there is a slight language barrier for me, but their work is good. I'll be going back with my other vehicles from now on.

Serge and Barkev are wonderful! My AC is not working on the driver s side, and they tried to diagnose it. They think it may be a leak in the cabin because it s not under the hood. Serge said that they could find the leak which will run about $600 or I could just keep coming back every six months to have Freon added and have it reset which would be much less expensive. This is a good, honest business that I highly recommend.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

Highly recommend!Family (with 5 kids) was in town for Thanksgiving and their minivan stopped working. We suggested to tow it to Serge's because it is close to our house. Serge was able to diagnose and fix in order for them to continue on their road trip.Thank you Serge for the quick, reliable and reasonable service!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Always reliable, trustworthy & timely. I've been bringing my cars to Serges for almost 20 years. I have never been disappointed. They always charge a fair price, are able to diagnose, fix & return my car to me quickly and conveniently. I am so happy they are in my neighborhood!

DISHONEST, LIAR and Rip Off: I have few terrible experiences with Serge Auto repair. Finally have to write review. Both Serge and Barkev are very Rude, arrogant and unprofessional. They install cheap after market parts and charge three times the price of part saying it's a Genuine part, also charge extra hour labor. All they care is how to rip off customer . Their diagnosis is incorrect and did not re-install under engine splash shield after repair when inquired they said they don't have it. Would not recommend even to my enemy. Please stay away, save your time and money.Service: Engine repair

Serge did a really great job with my car. Another auto mechanic wanted to charge $1500 and I wasn t confident that he was going to figure out what the real problem was. However Serge correctly evaluated the problem and did the entire job for $500! He really spent a lot of time trying to work out exactly what the problem was, including driving back-and-forth on the freeway with my car to determine specifically what he needed to do to the car. He got the job done faster than he said he would and I got the car back the same day instead of the next day, which was great! Thank you Serge and all the other guys at Serge s Automotive!

We have been taking our cars to Serge's Automotive for several years and have found Serge and his mechanics to be extremely polite, efficient and very helpful.. I always feel like a valued customer and appreciate the excellent work done on my car and the personal service. We have had general car repairs as well as new tires and brakes. Great service overall!

I dropped my car off using the early bird service which was convenient for me.They diagnosed the problem and gave me a fair quote within 90 mins to replace the starter. It took a couple of hours longer than they initially promised but that was OK, they were very busy went I picked up my car. Price was reasonable and they did not try to sell me anything I did not need.Owner is friendly and I plan to go back there again. if they do another good job I will raise the rating to a 3

I've been using Serge for about 2 years now and couldn't be happier. It started when I was pricing around a transmission servicing; all the other shops were charging more than double. The service is quick and the pricing has always been fair. I'm glad I found this shop.

Replaced the rear brakes and front axles and boots. The job was done quickly and the price was excellent. I definitely recommend this place. Everyone at the shop was friendly and very helpful! They will give recommendations for things that actually need to be done and will be honest in letting you know if the fix is an immediate need or if you can wait. The estimate given for the work was actually more than what was charged.

I have used Serge for over 10 years. He is trustworthy and dependable. He charges a fair price for his goods and services. It is hard to find a good mechanic, and when you find one like Serge, you want to tell the world.

Very odd experience with these guys. I had check engine light on and problems with coolant. They took my car, after inspection told me about misfire problem in the third cylinder. Then called me to ask for additional time to fix everything: they didn t understand what was wrong with the car and needed one more day. After two days I got the car and almost immediately the check engine light came on again. They charged me with $330!!! As they provided a warranty I drove to the car repair shop and asked WTF. They checked it and told me that it s a different problem even though the error code was exactly the same (P0303), so they could do nothing and most likely it s the coolant burning problem and charge will be $3000. Cool, huh? And why didn t you, guys, saw this horrible problem while you were checking the car during two days??? After all, I went to another mechanic shop and they told me that problem with misfire wasn t fixed and what was done at Serge s is big big mystery. I don t no what was that: the total incompetence or just simple deliberate fraud. Think, the last one.

Serge is an honest and conscientious businessman. March of 2015, he replaced a faulty starter on my Toyota Avalon; the replacement part had a one-year warranty. Seventeen months later, in August 2016, the starter stopped working. Although the part was no longer covered by the warranty, Serge did the honorable thing and replaced the starter free of charge--without prompting from me. Although not his fault, the starter installed in 2015 was obviously faulty because it should have lasted for many years. By behaving honorably, he has earned my loyalty.

Have to say it started off very disappointing only because of the way they communicate. A little rude and maybe because of the culture and I don't think now that it was intentional. I spent quite a bit of money $750.00 on my 1998 Camary but it is running like new with 206,000 mile on it. I picked it up yesterday and will see if it is all completely working in the next week or so. But all in all they did a pretty good job. I just wish they could be a little nicer in their tone of voice. It really makes a difference.

We experienced a rudeness with some of the personnel at Serge's that is unacceptable and not something most people care to tolerate. There are a lot of other car repair shops in the area that treat their customers with the respect they deserve.
