I needed to have the motor mounts replaced on a higher end Audi, and it s tough to find local shops that are either willing, or competent enough to do the job on a German car. Frank and his team got me in and out quickly during the holidays, and provided expert technical and customer service. They also saved me $3000 compared to a local dealer.From basic maintenance, to more complex jobs, or vehicle upgrades you don t have the time or tools to do yourself, Susi Auto Repair are a honest, fair, and talented bunch. Highly recommended.

This is how car repair/maintenance should be ! Everyone in this shop is knowledgeable and professional. On top of that, quite fair as to pricing. If youre lucky enough to discover this place, go no further!

Susi Auto took the time to explain the issue with my Acura after my secondary fuel pump failed. Frank, the owner, was incredibly patient with all of my questions. I had an incredibly positive experience at Susi Auto Repair! When my car suddenly started freaking out, they were able to diagnose it the same day. I had recommended some things I wanted to have done, but they actually talked me out of procedures that would have been more costly for me since they were unnecessary. Furthermore, they contacted my Toyota dealership directly and figured out that the exact problem I was experiencing was covered under a recall. This was another opportunity for them to make extra money, but instead, they showed an incredible amount of integrity and amazing customer service in the way the whole situation was handled. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

I brought my car in for an inspection because the oil pressure light was flickering. Customer service was good and I definitely appreciated Frank (the owner) patiently taking the time to explain the procedure. At the end of the day, however, they wanted to charge me $150 to replace the air cabin filter, windshield wipers, and a tail light. I declined the service because I found it to be rather expensive and took it elsewhere.

Frank and Ryan do a great job. Extremely knowledgeable. They clearly care about you and your vehicle. Very fair prices. We will never again go to the dealer for service.

This is my first personal experience with an auto shop and it really sucks to spend money but they are giving me back an awesome product and doing extra things on my car to maintain their good reputation which I'm totally fine with. They are a very friendly and knowledgeable group who employs excellent mechanics. I can tell they truly love and care about cars and I spent more time there than I thought I would just having fun talking shop. Overall I spent more than I thought I was going too, it couldn't be helped, and it has taken longer than I hoped but they are an awesome little shop.

Susi Auto Repair specializes in Audi repair, as well as other high-end brands too. The owner is very accomodating. They usually are by appointment (because of high demand) but since our case was an emergency (brake pads) and we were travelling elsewhere after a short stay in Monterey, they accepted us to be serviced. They did a great job too!

Frank and Ryan are extremely knowledgeable yet talk to one in understandable terms. They really take great care of my car and I wish I had found them years ago. Highly recommend them.

The quality of work, attention to detail, and stellar business practice here makes it so I won't take my vehicles anywhere else. Unless Frank tells me to. His high level of integrity is uncommon in humankind, and it's truly refreshing to be able to entrust our family cars to someone honest, who cares.

This place is the first honest place I've been to. I owen 2 Volkswagen's and not all shops in this area are knowledgeable enough. This place here has impressed me not only with there expertise but honesty. If you take your car for a repair and you ask them to due a specific things they do that and only that no sales pitch like other shops the famous line we all know "Looking at your car it seems it also needs this repaired and thus and this" Here is not that. Frank and Ryan are we dependable. When you go pay they not only give you a receipt with line items in mechanical language. They will explain every detail they did from start to finish.

Frank Susi and his mechanics have kept all of our cars in great shape. He's terrific with classic cars and restored my vintage VW bus. Can't praise him enough.

We were Glamping in Big Sur. We headed up to Monterey to check out the aquarium. We are almost to Monterey and my Volkswagen Cabrio started to cut out. It died at the stoplight. I managed to barely make it to the Shop. It was a Friday around lunchtime. Frank said he would look into it. I was thinking I would have to rent a car as we needed to get back to Big Sur and then on home to Morro Bay. We left the car in Frank s capable hands and Ubered to the aquarium. When we were done we walked back to Frank s shop. He had MacGyvered our car and it was no longer cutting out. We made it back to Big Sur, celebrated our one year anniversary withTwo more nights of Glamping. We made it home without a hitch! Frank saved our one year anniversary trip. I know any other shop would ve told me to come back next week but Frank handled the business and we are so grateful! Thank you Frank!

I have brought my cars here for 4 years now. Ryan and frank and Miranda are the bees knees. They have figured out problems that Audi, Toyota, and BMW service dealers could not. I trust them far more than the big shops who just want the quick buck.

Great service! Frank the owner is the best. They inspected an engine mount issue with my car and they couldn t have been more helpful and efficient. Cost was reasonable as well.

Susi Auto Repair has a staff full of knowledgeable and dedicated professionals who are attentive and timely with automotive work. I am a car guy who has taken a number of different vehicles to numerous repair shops all over the Monterey Peninsula and Susi ranks at the top of the ones I have used.

Frank Susi and his team are by far very knowledgeable mechanics, he will walk you through the process and is very up front. If you own a German engineered vehicle this is where you need to go!
