Title: Excellent Service and a Great Buying Experience at Mercedes Benz of Monterey!I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a brand new 2024 GLE 450 from Mercedes Benz of Monterey. Being a first-time Mercedes Benz buyer, I was both excited and somewhat nervous, but thanks to the exceptional service provided by the team at this dealership, my overall experience was truly amazing!From the very beginning, our Sales Consultant, Mitch Johnson, went above and beyond to make sure that our buying process was smooth and enjoyable. Mitch's expertise and dedication to customer satisfaction were evident throughout our interactions. He worked tirelessly with us to secure the best possible deal, ensuring that we felt confident and well-informed every step of the way.While I couldn't be happier with the car and the service, the only minor drawback was the time it took from the start of the process until I was able to take the car home, which extended to approximately 8.5 hours. My salesperson was great, Thanks Patsy. Good to work with, not pushy, answered my many questions.The manager was a nice guy, very personable. He had a hard time with my trade in paperwork and it took way too long to get paperwork done. I was there 4 hours and 2.5 were for paperwork, shouldn t take that long. The lady you sign papers with was great, quick, very personable, funny, Gemini like me. I have bought probably 4-5 cars here over the last 40 years. Thanks much

My wife found a car on a web site. It was beautiful, but also about 300 miles away from us. I called Mercedes of Monterey and was lucky enough to have Alex Pedraza answer the phone. Alex was so amazing to work with. She returned calls promptly and responded with text messages often. She is very high energy, but also wanted to make sure our needs were being met. We felt at ease with her so we made the drive.We got up there earlier than expected and wanted to see the car when we got there. Alex advised us about a time where we could at least go look at the car. We were greeted with her welcoming smile and she took us out to look at it. We thanked her and told her we would be looking forward to driving it the next day.We showed up for our schedule appointment with Alex and we took the car for a drive. Alex made sure each of us got to drive the car. Alex seemed to want to make sure we were both comfortable with the car and the purchase. If you were to ask either me or my wife, we would both say that Alex was the sole reason we purchased that car.Here is where things went wrong. I asked the Sales Manager Ross a question about the vehicles history. Ross said he did not know anything about the history other than the car came from Fresno. It infuriated me that Ross could lie so easily. The dealership provided us with the Car Fax report .that we actually read. The car was purchased in Fremont CA AND WAS EVEN SERVICED BY MERCEDES OF MONTEREY THREE TIMES, with the latest service three months prior to us buying the car! I was very disturbed by how easily Ross looked at us and lied about the history of the vehicle when they provided us with the documentation to prove him wrong.We got past Ross to the Finance Manage Yahaira. She immediately congratulated us on the purchase as well as our amazing credit (my wife and I are 800+ on our scores), but then advised us that our APR would be 8.99% through Mercedes Finance. I told her my credit union is much lower than that and our primary bank advised us to make sure the dealership made sure to run the loan past them. I told Yhaira that I would not pay 8.99% on the car and to run the loan through our bank to see what the numbers would come out at. Low and behold, we were offered a 6.99% loan through another institution. I am at a loss of why we were not presented with the best loan options at the beginning of our meeting, and that was very disappointing. A final thought on the dealings with the Finance Manager, and part of this is our fault, is we were not told the duration of the loan. We made the assumption, again our fault, that it would be a standard 60 months. Not until later that night did we really go through the paperwork that we saw it was written up at 71 months.We did end up buying the car and are very happy with it. Alex was the determining factor on us buying the car. Her energy in infectious. If it were not for her I would have walked out when Ross lied to us about the history of the car and also when Yahaira did not present us with the best interest rate that was available to us. One of the other factors that made us buy the car is that it is absolutely beautiful.In short, please be sure to stand up for yourself when dealing with this dealership. Make sure you have all your data ready as you will have to champion for yourself here.

After checking online for availability, I sas fortunate to have been looked after by Patsy. She is not only experienced but knowledgable about the differences of ride and handling when I was trying to decide which model types I would be more happy with. The purchasing process went about as well as I could expect given the extra distance. The delivery was a big delay but it's arranged during the holidays.

I usually dread buying a car as I ve had horrible experiences in the past. A.D. Adenawel was my salesman and stayed with me through the full process. I feel I got a very competitive deal on my car and didn t even get the good cop bad cop scam that some places try. I forgot the sales managers name but he was so nice also. Yahaira in Financing was super nice and it was so easy, she didn t push me on all the extras. I would totally recommend them and will go again to explore new cars when my lease finishes.

I was shopping online for a 2019 GLE 43 AMG for my wife. We had one that we loved that was totaled in an accident over the summer. My wife didn t want the new body style and wanted the same car. So I found one for sale at Mercedes Benz of Monterey. I had been looking all around the Bay Area and live in Monterey so I was surprised to find one so close. I inquired through their website and was contacted by Adenawel Ledesma (AD). He was extremely professional, polite and educated about these vehicles. I scheduled an appointment for the next day and ended up buying the car that night. The Floor Manager Ross was also extremely friendly, polite and professional.They reduced the asking price to the amount I requested and got me excellent terms through Mercedes Benz Financial. The whole process took less than two hours. That is by far the fastest auto purchase I have ever made. The new ownership is by far superior to the last group that owned the dealership. They have been servicing our Mercedes vehicles for 13 years and I will continue to have them take care of our two AMG vehicles. If you re considering a new or used Mercedes vehicle stop by and ask for AD. He is the man! Give them a chance before going to San Jose or the Bay Area. You will not be disappointed!

Their motto speaks volumes to those most wise: We May be the Oldest, But We re New Too. Add those two together and you ve got a winning combo. Delete one and you re like all the rest. For me personally, MB-Monterey s a standout for a number of reasons: 1) Mitch, a young and thoroughly authentic salesperson there guided me to lease the car of my dreams. Not sell, GUIDE! He innately sensed that I knew what I wanted and didn t push or promote a pre-programmed plan. Being an out-of-towner, I ended up encountering a glitch that caused a bit of a problem; that s when Mitch guided me to 2) Devon (the dealership s GM). Together they persevered (for hours) to make my dream real. Grateful to both for their unwavering commitment and trust in me and my mission. At the end of the day, Mitch guided me to 3) Yahaira, the finance manager. Another true encounter. Not one false agenda. Time well spent. At 7PM, I drove off MB-Monterey s lot in my brand-new car feeling like I d made a very wise choice in dealerships. We 66-year-olds gotta stick together. :-)

I bought my used Mercedes from Mercedes Benz of Monterey a decade ago. Their service center has been keeping it in tip top condition ever since. Eldon does a great job keeping me informed of what needs to be done and the cost. The mechanics and service center technicians have all done excellent work.
