Quick service, excellent car wash. Kick back and enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee on the house while you wait. Big screen TV in the waiting area with plenty seating. Nice clean bathroom. Do some gift shopping in the little entryway. Friendly cashier always pleasant.

Decent car wash for the basic service. The more expensive packages aren't worth it. I recently paid almost $60 for service and specifically asked the young man if he could get all the bugs off the front grill. I was assured that they would "take care of it," however I had to go to a self service car wash after to do it myself.Lesson learned: thoroughly check your car before leaving the establishment.

The regular car washes are great for what you pay for. Their details are impressive! I take 2 dogs to work with me everyday and drive through farm fields that are muddy almost daily and the detail center made the truck look brand new again.

It was my first time to have my car carwashed here.Not worth of what i've paid. Interior vaccum not done properly. Tires dressing/polishing were not done at all though it was included in my payment (Gold? I dont think the color depicts for the expected services) Though there are many attendants. The supervisor should at least check the car if services were done properly before checking it out. It reflects low standard. You should do it slowly but surely. Great car wash but I wish they pay more attention to vacuum the car. Did it twice already and the same issue. I still give 5 starts cause they are definitely fantastic!

I've been here a few times. The employees are nice and the service is pretty quick but I have never been impressed with the results. Always rushed to get cars in and out as fast as possible. These pictures would be reasonable to me for a $7-10 auto car wash but I expected a little more for $20.

It's consistently bad. But today was the final straw. I was foolish to overlook poor quality and high prices for years. I brought my car in & specifically asked them to focus on the back seats and carpet. I even spoke Spanish to avoid the constant language barrier. When I got home it was clear that they hadn't touched the back seats at all - the before and after photos were identical. Almost as if it was done on purpose despite my $5 tips each time. I used their feedback form "customer satisfaction survey" which asked if I wanted to be contacted, to which I said, "yes". I got an email confirming the receipt of the feedback but that was over a month ago - dead silence. Why have the feedback form if no one is managing it? A complaint is a gift, an opportunity to change things and an opportunity to satisfy a dissatisfied customer - to show you actually care. Alas, you blew it on all levels - I won't be back and I've let my vast network of local contacts know my dissatisfaction. I blasted this over and over on NextDoor. One simple response would have prevented this. Lesson learned? Probably not.

I chose their platinum full service but very disappointed.Did they vacuum inside? Did they wash exterior and interior throughly?My expectation would be much higher then othersMy Dyson vacuum cleaner would be better.

This place is a great carwash that offers "wash while you wait". I recommend reading about and confirming all of your options before you go since the transaction occurs immediately upon arrival while in your car.There are a number of amenities here that surprised me, and there are a lot of services offered.I subtracted a star since I found a few small spots of sticky substance that weren't cleaned off after a wash, but generally the attention to detail seems pretty good.

Tight squeeze getting in and out of this very small space, but they did an excellent job cleaning up my car, which was crusted with beach sand, dog hair and assorted road dirt. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. They have plenty of crew on hand, and everyone was super courteous and friendly. Well-stocked gift shop with lots and lots of cards for birthdays, etc. Very reasonable prices. If I lived here I'd definitely be back.

I have been coming here for over 20 years! This is THE ONLY PLACE I GET MY CARS WASHED!!! I have never had a problem. Great customer service! Starting my week with a clean car makes me happy! Thanks, El Estero Car Wash, for always taking care of my cars. Don't forget to tip! It's not an easy job to clean and dry cars all day, especially on a hot sunny day!

Didn't vacuum or wipe anything down after paying for the inside to get cleaned they forgot to put in the air freshener that I paid for they wanted me to drive a hour back to have them vacuum the car .

This is the only full-service car wash I have gone to since I started driving in 2017. The people are very nice and the service is amazing! I usually get silver and end up paying around $30 and change. It is always nice to tip the people washing your car for you. Last time I went, I had my two carpets washed for $5, and it was well worth it. After every 10 washes, get a major discount on one! I'm working up to my 20th wash! Thank you, El Estero car wash!

Friendly and efficient, El Estero was a terrific experience. As a non-local, I've driven by El Estero for years while passing through town, and it's always bustling. Had the occasion to use their services, and the popularity is well justified.

We are regular customers, but recognize the pros and cons to El Estero. They benefit from location and lack of competition in the area. They are ok (used to be better).Pros:-Fast-Convenient for Monterey-Open every day-Coupons available for weekday services and returning vehicles-Rewards program (1 free wash after 10)-Location/the only full service wash in the area (there's one in Del Rey Oaks and then one in Salinas)-Decent waiting areas inside and outsideCons:-Inconsistent service (hot/cold both from the cashiers and the wash advisers)-Pressure to leave (they say if something is wrong, they'll fix it but when there are cars stacked behind your rushed out)-Fast but not detailed oriented (missed very obvious spots to vacuum or wipe)-When busy, the line backs up to the street/causes traffic and the service declines-Check your receipts. I was overcharged and they didn't apply my coupon. The cashier told me she had applied the discount, but after I paid I saw she had not. I went back and the cashier's supervisor was reluctant to fix it (claiming I didn't show the coupon when I paid).

My experience @ El Estero was just ok. The folks are mostly nice but I feel the management forces the crew to work way too fast. When a crew is forced into working too fast. This creates a number of potential problems. One of course is human physical injuries. Second is potential damage to the vehicles. Third potential problem is lack of attention to detail. Perhaps they think with a lack of competition, they don t have to worry about customer service experience or a job well done. It s obvious the management or owner just want the cash and no love/passion for the work.

Solid job on my dog fur filled car! Every time - assuming you have realistic expectations. They are quick with routine washes unless its peak time but even then im usually out within 20 min.

I recall this business being great.Either it's quality has gone down or my standards have been spoiled by other businesses that are far more thorough.The windows exterior had streaks.The car's interior had dirt...in the carpeting!What they did clean, was clean. Just not thoroughly.

This place has only gone downhill over the years. They scratched up my rims, and after paying $30 for a silver wash, this is what I am greeted with on my driver side door how can you miss this and say the car is clean??

I ve been going to El Estero for more than 10 years. In general, I ve been very satisfied until now. Cost has skyrocketed and service has gone down the drain. My son spent $32+ on getting the Gold package. The interior of the car car is still filthy. I went to talk to the manager, and he made one excuse after another for the current condition, and suggested I bring the car back for full detailing at $250. No thank you!

Excellent customer service just not the best for the price. This was my chrome when we got home along with spotty windows and areas in the car were still dusty. Note this was the $35 platinum package.

Do not waste your money and time here. I just got a car wash here. And they did terrible job. ( see pictures attached) I paid $39.99 for this. Never going there.

I had high hopes for this place given the amount of traffic I had seen at it, but my experience as a first-time customer was very disappointing. In additio. To the exterior wash, I lpaid for the interior to be vacuumed and the dash and console to be wiped down. Either their vacuums lack suction or they don't make an effort. The floor and around the seats looked scarcely better than when I arrived. Some areas by the seats were not vacuumed at all nor was the rear of the vehicle. And this was a small economy sport utility, not a lot of ground to cover to get the job done. The exterior wash was adequate but there was no extra effort at drying the side mirrors. I would say this place does the absolute bare minimum to get your car clean. They seem more focused on moving you through as quickly as possible. One positive was the employees. All were nice.

El astro car wash is the place to go if you want your car to sparkle. The staff is always courteous and respectful. It's the only place to go for a wonderful car wash experience.

All in all I love pulling in and out of this local landmark. It s across the street from:San Carlos CathedralMission San Carlos CemeterySan Carlos SchoolRoyal Presidio Chapel Heritage CenterThe old mission was also here before moving it to Carmel in the 1770s.El Estero Lake is also across the street from the car wash. I love the buildings and history surrounding the place.Often, I had to ask the crew to have my car vacuumed a little more. The last few times they have done a great job!Services: Vacuuming, Auto interior vacuuming

This place sucks it's a rip off don't go there. I choose to do the auto interior vacuuming and auto detailing let me repeat auto detailing. They didn't even clean simple as under the chairs. I didn't wanted to give any stars But I have no choice they get one star unfair. I am very unsatisfied customer.Service: Auto detailingService: Auto detailing
