Come on Saturday! ! No wait only 7 minutes to process the whole thing. I get there by 3 pm leave by 3:15pm. Super cool!Sit in the shadows and Waite for it.

The owner has been servicing my vehicles for many years now. He's always been polite and helpful and usually has a story to tell from his personal experiences. He'll often provide hints or tips on diagnosing my vehicle of problems that he sees coming. No better cure than prevention and that is much appreciated from his service.I highly recommend this business for quick and friendly service at an affordable price.

Highly recommended. Plenty of available parking. A and B has been the go-to smog center for all my cars the last 20+ years. Blake offers great pricing and honest customer service with no funny business. Max the smog dog is a loyal sidekick and mascot who will keep you company in the waiting area.

Call for quote around 2PM on a Tuesday, got a $50 quote for my 2013 car. Only have wait for 5 minutes for the car in front of mine to finish testing. Then another 10 minutes for mine and it was done. Haven't gone to do smog check in many years only to find out prices have become outrageous. One I used to go to a mile or two away has gone downhill and found this place. One phone call is all it took and the nice guy had me in and out (with passing results for my old 14 year-old Subaru) in 20 minutes...with 4-5 other people and cars around. Hope he keeps his pricing as it is and he'll continue on getting a bunch of business. Super-recommended.

Price quoted 2 other Montetey Park smog test centers, prices range $60 to 70 with headlight polishing accomplished, which are reasonable these days. But A&B offer $50. I was told 50 mins wait, yet out the door in 22 mins. Very honest, friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended.

I came back for another Smog Certification. Needed one for this year 2023.Service was fast and professionally done. Very polite gentleman attended to me. Fast in and out again 10 minutes tops. He still has Max guarding him. Very reasonably priced. 5 stars2022 Son sent me here for a smog check.Owner very polite, service was quick, and efficient.In and Out 20 minutes tops.Careful when driving in, he has a cute little dog that owns the place.

This is the best of the Smog Test Only centers. I have been coming here for the last 10 years. The customer service is great, and the service is fast! The owner is very professional and extremely helpful. I had a little issue with the P0430 code, which comes and goes, so I had to reset my check-engine light from time to time, and he would check to see if the drive cycle was complete before he even attempted the smog test. Additionally, he even told me how to fix this issue. I know that we are all entitled to our opinions; however, this place does not deserve a one-star rating that some angry people have left. Any reasonable person would see that there is a reason why this place has more five-star ratings than one star. Highly recommend if you live in the San Gabriel Valley!

Had been going here for years. But the owner/operator will tell you his machine is not working because your vehicle is not an easy inspection for him. These shops must have no pass rates and unfortunately I m learning their dirty secrets. He lost my business and trust. I suggest you find another shop.

I went to this place this morning trying to use coupon found in Monterey Park newspaper.The owner denied the coupon price and said if I do not like the price, then go somewhere else, so I didWent to other place, the smog test process took about 5 mins. I understand the coupon price is lower than other places and business may not make much money if customers use the coupon price, but poor choice of words and unprofessional character will drive customers to somewhere else.Service: Smog certification

Great place to get smog check! Super cheap and fast. I waited less than 10 mins and the prices are the best in town. I've taken three of my family's cars there and have never had any problems. No need for appointments.

Friendly, reliable, fair prices, and quick.The owner/operator has been in the business a long time, he offers a good service with a free retest if your vehicles fails.I would highly recommended his service.

I was originally referred to this shop by the folks at Silver Star Auto Service.Just had my 2 Honda's serviced there and the new manager there, Hung, was great. No nonsense and very straightforward. Great guy to get information on cars and troubleshooting tips on smog testing. I highly recommend them

This Certified Star Station Smog Test center only charged us $45.00 to test our 2002 Honda Odyssey. Fast service.Located at the Sierra Vista Street and Garvey Avenue intersection on the north-east side.

The shop is very clean. I went in for a smog test on a Wednesday afternoon and only waited about 4 minutes to have the car tested. Be careful pulling into the shop driveway because the owner's friendly little dog is often laying around.

I needed a smog, but I had an issue with a large and small EVAP leak so my truck would not pass. I had already taken it to several places and everyone wanted to charge an arm and a leg or would say it's going to take a long while. I took my truck here to A and E, Blake took the time to look and detect the issues. He was very patient and determined to find the problem, other smog places weren't kidding when they said it will take some time. And at the end, Blake did find the problems and fixed them. The price to smog and labor to fix the issue was super reasonable.I will defenately come back here for my next smog check. And would highly recommend someone here. Blake thanks for fixing my issue.

I went here to SMog my car and the service was great. The place was nice and clean and they have a waiting place outside for the customer . The guy smogged my car and didn't even take him too long to do that. Thr price was good too. I would totally go back and recommend this Shop.
