Today was my 3rd visit to the Montebello location for a tire repair and they always do a great job, and best of all is that it has always been FREE! I always make sure to bring some cash to tip for a good job done. You can easily make an appt online, but they do still always accept walk-ins. If you are a walk-in, just make sure to come at least 1hr 30mins before closing just to make sure you have a better chance of getting helped same day.

I was quoted $120 over the phone for a wheel alignment, and when they were done, Frankie, the guy in the front, charged me $140. He said that it was $140 because of taxes and other fees, but they provided a service, not a tangible good, which is not taxable in California. This is confirmed with the receipt because it categorized it as a non taxable quantity.Also, when I was checking my vehicle before leaving the place, I noticed that the rack and pinion boot was damaged. I told the guy about it, and he told me that if I wanted to have them fix it, I would have to wait about 2 hours. I said that it was fine and I asked him to call me once they were done because I had to leave. Then, he said that they would only do it if I stayed waiting the 2 hours in the store with him because if he had stay extra time working in the store to fix the boot that they damaged, I had to stay as well. Otherwise, they wouldn't fix it until the next day. I even offered to do it myself since it's just a matter of pressing a clamp and stretching the boot, which would take less than literally a minute. But also told him that if it was ripped or damaged that they would have to replace the boot. And guess what? He refused.Now, the boot was most likely damaged because the technician probably used an impact wrench to loosen the cam bolt that's in front of the rack and pinion boot instead of a wrench. And when he tightened the bolt, he didn't even bother to fix the boot. It just shows the technician's lack of professionalism because the space between the boot and the bolt is not enough to fit in a socket, let alone a socket with an impact wrench. And I wouldn't have noticed any of that if the technician had fixed the boot after he was done tightening the bolts.Also, I asked the guy for a before and after readings of my tires' angles, and he gave me a sheet that is not from my vehicle. It looks like it's just an image printout from the internet. He claimed that it was the sheet that his technician gave him, but it just looks fake.Also, before leaving, he told me that his alingment machine was outdated and that it didn't give him any reading printouts but in their videos they claim that they use computerized equipment to ensure a vehicle is properly aligned. So basically, the angle readings sheet that he gave me is not the one from my vehicle.The first time that I came here a couple of years ago, I was satisfied with their service, and i was considering to bring my 5 vans to get serviced at this location since its the closest to my warehouse but that won't happen any time soon.

Great service, especially Frankie O. who helped to move the process along. He went above and beyond, when one of their machines were down. Team did very good and got it done inside a two hour window on a busy Friday. Kudos!!

Absolutely incompetent shop, should file a report to the Bureau of Automotive repair and BBB. Do not take your car here under any circumstance. Refused to refund for bad work and charged higher amount in person for alignment than over the phone when they knew the car ahead of time. Bait and switch! Illegal!Claimed to have adjusted camber on the rear of a 4runner (it s not adjustable) to pad the invoice for a 4 wheel alignment. Also messed up the front camber by letting the customer leave with positive on one side and negative on the other when the car came in with camber in better shape. This shop should be ashamed and refused to refund the pathetic incorrect work. A nice call to the Bureau of Automotive repair ought to solve that. It s illegal to charge for work not performed in California.

Great experience.. got some tires I needed to be installed they were able to squeeze me in the same day.. was good for me because I needed them bad.. I would recommend you come here for services.. I found out as well they offer many other services as well. Brakes.aligments . Tire patches. And more..don't hesitate to call

Great location for those unexpected emergencies. Staff is polite and knowledgeable. I frequently have tire emergencies and my dealer is too far to reach with a flat. This shop always makes the time to patch up my tires and get me back on the road.

Horrible customer service.... I came in today Thursday at 3pm 2-29-24. The person at the front desk said he was the manager had a bad rude attitude i didnt get a good look at his name but i think his name it said miguel on his shirt. I asked for an inspection of my breaks. He said "we charge 200 dollars for the break service. Are u going to do them now or else it will be a waste of time" He made me feel horrible from the beginning. Then I said go ahead with the inspection. I left my keys they checked the car. The technician came back with information. The manager stopped the technician in the middle and said " he didn't come for any control arm he came for breaks" Then I said can I speak to the technician. Then the manager asked the technician to go outside. Then I asked the manager why he's been very rude to me. Of course he denied being rude. This manager u have there doesn't know how to treat customer in a friendly way. Of course I don't want to do business in a place like this.

I had a nail in my tire and brought it in late in the day. They were fast as my car was ready right after closing. I went and got the first thing the next morning and to my surprise, they do a quick path free of charge! Highly recommended if you re in the area and need a quick fix on your tire!

In and out got my oil change and I knew I already needed to get new tires. I ask for the price and the time. I didn't have that much time. I was in at 9:00 A.M and was out at 11:00 A.M. The team work to get me ready to go on with my day was great. I definitely recommend them

My sister recommended I come here because they always provide her with amazing service and she was right !I felt very comfortable leaving my car for a couple hours for tire maintenance. Will definitely be returning for other car maintenance !

They will scratch your wheels they do not care . paid well over 8 bills to get tires and alignment only to leave home with scratches that were not there before. This is really unacceptable I regret getting service here . Manager was friendly but what good does that do if his employees don t pay attention to details. I m at a lost because I m sure this tire shop isn t going to pay to get my wheels fixed. I don t recommend this place unless your wheels are already jacked up. Avoid if you have a new car or nice wheels . Unfortunately I don t feel confident about this place.

I was initially satisfied with the two new front tires sold to me at a reasonable price by American Tire DepotUnfortunately when I went to my mechanic a few months later to have my wheels rotated he informed me that that some of the lug notes had been drilled into tightly, probably by a drill, which I observed. Unfortunately in removing the lug nuts the wheel stud was damaged. My mechanic said this is not an uncommon occurrence for businesses that install lug nutss with a drill. He also stated that he typically instructs his workers to screw back in the lug nuts by hand to prevent this from occurring. My mechanic has worked on our family cars for 15 years and I know him as a man of integrity.I reached out to American Tire Depot to share my concern/ complaint and was told by the employee that I should have not had my mechanic remove the tire and driven my car to show them the problem. To me this is unreasonable. What if I got a flat tire prior to taking it back? I would have been unable to remove the tire and install the spare. The employee then instructed me that the manager would call me back to listen to my concern. It has been 5 days and no response.I can only assume that American Tire Depot does not want to address my concern. Beware of this company as the employees overtigtened the lug nuts causing $200 worth of damage to my wheel studs and did not take any responsibility for their actions.I am adding to my post on December 9th and adjusting my stars from 2 to 1. They failed to contact me after multiple attempts. American Tire Depot obviously is not taking my concern serious and posted that they would contact in an obvious attempt to make it seem like they do.

I went in to get my tire patched and my brakes inspected. My sales Rep. Kurt was very courteous and helpful. The service was fast and everything was explained to me. I will definitely bring my car for service again.

Had a flat tire and went in to replace it. They did an inspection on my car and told me I needed additional repairs. They worked with me to get good prices and also gave me a good discount. The technicians were very friendly and knowledgeable. Answered all of my questions and advised me on additional work that I need to get done in the future. Will definitely go back for the extra work my car needs to get done.

Beware, they charge over $100+ over their website quote for a Tesla. Their reason, Tesla is more labor intensive. I called the company and get informed that s not how it works.

I had a great experience this morning. I called in the morning to get availability on some tires I saw online. A representative by the name Frankie was able to answer all my questions and provide me with different options including the prices. I did not have an appointment but they were able to take my car in the same day. When I arrived at the store Frankie provided exceptional customer service! They left my car feeling brand new. Definitely recommend this store! Will be returning for all my other car needs.
