If I could give a 10/5 I absolutely would. I ve had my motorcycle for 14 years and these guys completely blew away all my expectations. My bike had been sitting for 2 years due to my own negligence so I knew there was going to be a lot of work that needed to be done. These brilliant gentlemen took apart the whole bike and found every loose screw, every piece of wiring and mechanical failure and rebuilt the whole thing. My bike needed so much work, they re-upholstered the seats beautifully, did a major tune up and valve adjustment, replaced the stator, replaced the fork seals, did an oil and filter change, replaced the brakes, rebuilt and replaced the water pump and seals, synched the throttle bodies, flushed and refilled the coolant, replaced the regulator, cleaned and lubed the drive chain, replaced my broken mirrors, fixed my rear brake spring, replaced the spark plugs, adjusted my clutch and throttle, fixed the psi on my tires, lubricated the pivot points, tightened all the nuts and bolts, hooked it up with free new handle bars, brake fluid reservoirs, polished washed and waxed everything. My bike used to have a big problem of overheating easily and for the first time it s running at a cool temperature even in this summer heat, my old mechanics don t even hold a candle to Rick and his magnificent team of mechanics. I m completely blown away by the work these guys did for my bike. They definitely make every penny worth it. Rick, you are a solid standup gentleman and I appreciate you and your team so so much! I won t trust anyone else with my bike but Montclair Powersports. I was seriously thinking about getting rid of my bike (because what's the point in having it if I can't get it repaired when necessary) until I found Montclair Powersports.Professional, respectful, honest, and kind, are just a few of the words that describe Rick and his shop. Rick takes great pride in his business and it showed in the outstanding service that I received (maintenance performed impeccably plus the bike was washed and cleaned at no additional charge)The word is out so get a spot for your bike as soon as possible because the care and attention you are shown is rare.I not only give 5 stars but 5 fist bumps too

I recently bought a used CBR600RR thinking it was great. Having 0 motorcycle experience, I ran into issues rather quick. Rick was not only welcoming and understanding, but more than willing to help and was direct with what would be needed/ how I could go about it. I explained to him the lack of experience working with bikes and how I needed it to be in shape so I could commute. Not only did he care but he even suggested ways in which I would save money and what would be most necessary.I m glad I found Montclair power sports and will continue coming here for any repair/ upgrade needs; not only do I recommend it to whoever is reading this, but to everyone I meet that needs a mechanic as well!!!

Man, I rarely give out a 5 star. But this spot, this spot right here?... Quality work and the communication is on point.... ....the pricing however is exceptional. If I can give a 6star, I absolutely would. Cheers Montclair Motorsports

It had been almost ten years since I owned or rode a motorcycle when my wife surprised me with one for a late-birthday, early-Christmas, early-Valentine's Day, very early-next-birthday present.I wanted new tires and a full checkup. MPS was recommended to me by another rider.I stopped in to discuss what I needed and get a quote. Rick was super helpful and knowledgeable. The prices and care MPS and Rick provided are second to none. When I picked my motorcycle up, she was purring like a kitten and rode so smoothly.Perfection, and I highly recommend them.

Rich, Beso from OntarioFirst time I took my bike in to have some cosmetic work done and brakes, chain adjustment, etc.Couldn t believe it when I picked it up how clean it was, someone had detailed the bike. Apparently that s ricks MO. So I just had them put some new tires on, got some new Dunlops installed and balanced great price and once again. I got back totally detailed bike. great work and great service... went to get some cooling parts replaced for my shadow and was very satisfied with the way the bike ran after. I could tell that he tuned it up even though I didn't ask.

Awesome shop, I took my sons two Honda dirt bikes in for basic maintenance and was very happy with the quality of service and the turnaround time. The owner was so kind and helpful to me with loading the bikes on and off my truck. My son started both bikes right away and he has had zero problems. Highly recommend this place and will continue to take our bikes here for service.

if you're familiar with the phrase "i got a guy for that" and you are in need of repair for your motorcycle then this review is for you.rick at montclair motorsports is the real deal. first he managed to bring life back to my 30 year old two strokeso we made plans for me to bring the rest of my 1990 fl400 after an interrupted restoration. he was always in constant communication with me along the way and finished the job sooner than i expected. the finish product is almost too nice for the dirt. i expect the new owner will keep it in the barn for a show piece.bvz 2/25/22

Couldn't get my 2002 Yamaha WR250F running. After calling around and talking to a few different shops I was recommended to call Rick at Montclair Powersports and I am very glad that I did. Rick took the time to listen to me ramble on about the history of the bike. He is very knowledgeable and assured me that they would take care of it and have it up and running. Great communication throughout the entire process and didn't do anything without consulting me about it first. Happy to say that "Old Blue" is up and running again thanks to the professionals at Montclair Powersports.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Engine repair

Great place to get your bike serviced! Rick was very friendly and professional. Brought in my GSXR- 750 for mounting tires and brake pads and they even put in a brake fluid flush for free. I needed to get my new tires installed on my Honda Rebel 500. I called many different motorcycle shops and this was the best place I could find for the best price! My bike was ready for me after work the next day and I came to my bike all nice and cleaned also. The service here was top tier and I will definitely go back for future maintenance.Service: Tires

Hidden . Have to give a Big Shout-out to Rick at Montclair Powersports.Rick gave me excellent, great service. I took by bike in for a rear tire repair and I ended finding out that Chaparral had not done the job correctly.I immediately call Chaparral and I told them they had installed the wrong tube on my new tire. Chaparral stated we don't do Harley's anymore.Thanks to Rick he corrected their mistake.Rick later called to inform me that I needed brakes as well.He took care of not just those two items, but went above and beyond by doing a full service.Prices are very reasonable, Great Excellent customer service.Thanks Rick, I just found new home.

They have a wide range of products and offer excellent customer service.The first thing I noticed upon walking into Montclair Powersports was the wide variety of products they have available. They have a great selection of motorcycles, jet skis, snowmobiles, and ATVs. In addition, they also offer a wide range of accessories and spare parts for all tastes and needs.The Montclair Powersports staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They are happy to answer any questions you have and give you expert advice on the products they sell. Plus, they have in-depth knowledge of the makes and models they offer, which gives you confidence when making a purchase.The store itself is very clean and organized. Products are displayed so that you can easily see and access them. They also have a good inventory, so you're likely to find what you're looking for on the spot.One of the things I appreciate most about Montclair Powersports is their after-sales service. If you have a problem or need to carry out a maintenance service, they have a repair shop where qualified experts can solve any problem you may have.In short, Montclair Powersports is an exceptional store for those looking for motorsports merchandise. The only place I trust 110%. Every single mechanic ive ever been to sketches me out and cuts corners. The passion behind the wrench is undeniable. You only need to spend a few minutes talking with rick before you realize this guy is the real deal. We're talking about a guy that races bikes, breaks them repairs them makes them better and does it all over again. Even though I live 40 min away, they are the only shop I go to. Had no clue what was wrong and why it wouldn t start, but they got it and told me everything what was wrong, and brought her back to life within a few days. Great mechanic and excellent work who knows they re stuff!

Brought my KLR in to have the valves adjusted. I had talked to another shop before to get a quote and after I called Montclair Powersports, I knew who I was going to go with. Rick was awesome and kept in touch with me through the entire process of working on my bike. I really appreciated that he went over the top end while he was at it because he found a loose bolt and tightened it back up and added loctite. He was very responsive and honest, you couldn't ask for more from your mechanic. Not to mention I was thrilled to find that he took the time to detail my bike before I picked it up as well. It looks like it belongs on a showroom floor! I also really liked that he took the time to snap some pictures of the work he did and show them to me, it was awesome to be able to see for myself what he was talking about. Rick is the man. Always able to fit me in when needed. He just did a fresh rebuild on my 400 and it runs like new. Also just did a go thru on my 02 650r that has been sitting for 10 yrs. you would never even know it had stopped running. Always professional, never price gouges and gives it to you straight. This place is a great shop to go to get work done on your bike. I was looking around for some work to be done on my bike and called a few places. Then I saw Montclair Powersports and the 5 star reviews and decided to try them out. The price here was the best around, by far, and the work was perfect the first time I have had no problems and will with out a doubt be returning if I need anything done on my bike.

Found Rick and the folks (Shawn & Paul) via an internet search. I was looking for a good independent shop to service my '06 Roadstar 1700.What I found was a Great shop with superb mechanics and customer service. I needed some new tires mounted and a brake line flush. Shawn and Paul took care of everything for me and even stayed in touch by phone throughout the process. I found their work to be excellent and their prices more than fair. For anyone looking to get away from the dealer rat race and pricing structure, I would highly recommend Montclair Powersports<>!Services: Tires, Brake service & repair

I had problems with a different service and my bike never worked correctly. I took it to Rick and his guys and they were nothing but first class professionals. They got my bike running just like brand new. They also took pictures to show me what was wrong with it. I am so glad I found them, I will be a customer for life. I came in just before his rush of appointments, to ask if he may break a nut and bolt off my cmx-500 to place a crash bar. I did not ask him to place it on for me after and he went out of his way to place it on professionally when he knew he was short on time. This was my first of many to come visits, very professional, polite and mindful of your motorcycle. I highly recommend this shop to anyone if they need a mechanic that works for the passion and love for motorcycles.

For Those Who Love Their Bikes - we're not always comfortable with any/everybody touching our Prized Machines.. I have to say: The Guys at Montclair Powersports KNOW What they are doing! I APPRECIATE their Accommodation at a Moment's Notice! Work was quick and Clean! Pricing was more than fair. I will do Business with These Guys again and again for sure!
